False Advertising. Made in China. No returns.
Wish there was zero stars.
This company is a "front". They claim to be a "proudly Canadian" company with Canadian products. Well, no. When pressed, they say that their products are sourced from a family business in Thailand. Their 30-day risk free trial? Hah! If you want a refund, you have to ship (with tracking) to their depot in China. (the shipping will likely cost more than the product). Oh, and one more - IF they accept your return, you will be refunded the "product cost" - which likely means the pennies on the dollar that they acquire these from some sweatshop in China.
Oh - they also say that they have a 30-day risk free trial - "Love it or return it for a full refund" - but their return policy states that the product must be returned unused, as shipped, in its original packaging. How can you try it if it has to stay in the bubble wrap?!
Do NOT buy from these liars and scammers!!!
Their reply on their return policy is inaccurate.
Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.
To request a return, please contact us at help_shopteakora.com or 800-384-0810. Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we'll provide instructions on how and where to return your order. Returns sent without first contacting us will not be accepted.
Unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
If you have any questions regarding a return, please contact help_shopteakora.com.
Note how they also inconveniently don't mention you have to pay for tracked shipping back to China and any import duties?! And IF they accept your return, they will refund you the "product cost".
Here's another great thing about their return policy:
Items ineligible for returns:
- Sale or clearance items
(so if you took advantage of one of their sales or discount codes - they have an out to deny you a return).
Do NOT do business with this company!!!
P.S. The quote from Canada Post to ship it back? $100.29. So, that's their scam - as no-one is going to pay more than the value of their return to send it back (oh - and there would likely be additional import duties imposed by sending it back as well).
