Sparkly Alexandra McQueen revived

Just got my sparkly Alexandra McQueens back. Thought they were beyond repairs but after Shoe Lab got their hands them they’ve magically transformed them and they look like brand new….. I’m over the moon with them and so made up with the service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Genuinely amazing

I couldn't be more impressed with Shoe Lab. Their service is top-notch. I brought in a pair of worn-out trainers that I thought were beyond saving, but the team worked their magic. The craftsmanship is flawless, and the attention to detail is incredible. My shoes look as good as new! Highly recommended!

Resurrection of my Onitsukas. Superb work!

My Onitsukas were most definitely on the edge, pretty much heading for the bin! Luckily, I thought I’d try Shoe Lab, and I’m so glad I did as they gave them a totally new lease of life.

I have no idea how they fixed them up, but they worked some serious magic and returned them to their former glory, and fast too. Mint work guys, thank you. Highly recommended!

Yes Yes and Yes

Yes yes and yes! This is what I would tell anyone who is asking the question “should I use Shoe Lab?”.

Aside from transforming my beloved Givenchy White Sneakers back to brand new multiple times, and my brothers Gucci Ace Sneakers they consistently update you and provide a very detailed description of all the issues and how they can rectify them And best of all is the feeling you get when you open that Shoe Lab box after your shoes have been pampered by them. Always in awe!

Knowing Shoe Lab have my back, I’m comfortably wearing all of my shoes in any weather conditions because of I mess them up Shoe Lab will transform them back to new.

Most importantly for me is their customer service, always there to support customers in a friendly and sincere way. I needed advice and Shoe Lab were there for me.

Good but not amazing

Sent two pairs of Veja trainers which were pretty worn out. Initially the communication was good but it very quickly dropped off and eventually took over two weeks . They offered various 'extras' at a high price, all of which I declined. To be fair they did come back looking and smelling cleaner, there is now discoloration on the toe of one pair though which wasn't there before.

Overall good but for the price and poor communication probably not worth it.

Absolute lifesavers

Absolute lifesavers got my trainers sorted before holiday they made them go from beaten to blessed helpful throughout answered my questions with no hesitancy and always got the answer I wanted not my first time using them and definitely won’t be my last.

sent my D&G Daymaster trainers to be…

sent my D&G Daymaster trainers to be cleaned on the 2nd of July. During the process I were asked if I wanted to pay extra for repainting and glueing which I declined. The trainers were returned to me on the 24th of July and straight away I noticed the letter on the heel of the trainer from the logo was missing. I notified them straight away and had sent pictures prior to the clean which clearly showed the letter in place but the company are not taking any responsibility. I have been trying to get somewhere with them for over a month and still nothing. The trainers were £650 and have decreased in value significantly given the missing letter. I would have at least expected some sort of compensation or to be reimbursed. Surely a company who handles luxury goods has insurance for damages? It’s a joke. I keep being promised updates and don’t hear back until I chase and chase and even then I get no clarity. I posted this review last week and was asked to remove it and they would, their words “I will fully take on board and accept your review if I can’t solve this in 7 days and I ask you give me 7 days to do so. Please can the review be removed and if in 7 days it’s not resolved we will accept it will be re posted” it’s been longer than 7 days and still no solution has been offered and I had to chase and update again. Apparently they are trying to sell the trainers for me on a reselling platform and have been offered £75. £75 for a £650 pair of trainers. Time to cut my losses now. I don’t expect anything from this company anymore and if you thinking of using them for anything that’s of any value I would avoid completely!

I used Shoe Lab on numerous occasions…

I used Shoe Lab on numerous occasions now, and each time they have been brilliant. But this time they really left me speechless. I just received two pairs of leather boots back, I thought they was too far gone to repair, all of the heels was scuffed on them, well when I opened the box they looked as if they was brand new. Thank you so much guys for saving my favourite boots x

So impressed! Would recommend.

I sent two pairs of Arigatos in as they were on their last legs, hoping for a touch up and for them to feel comfortable and pillowy to walk in again. The team at Shoe Lab went the extra mile, and now the shoes look and feel brand new! I couldn't be happier, especially as it's saved me £500+ on two new pairs.

Outstanding Service

Must say the customer service is definitely 10/10. I had a couple questions before ordering a clean for my sambas and they were so responsive and extremely helpful with their replies. I also really appreciate the constant updates as to what stage they were at with the clean. Furthermore, the shoes themselves look brand new and you can clearly see that a lot of care and thought was taken when repackaging the shoes. I will definitely be using again!

I sent my Dior B22 trainers off to be repaired which consisted of glue work, full repaint and some stiching work! Needless to say they did an amazing job! The shoes came back unrecognisable! I thought they were a new pair! Brilliant job ShoeLab! Would definitely use this service again.

Ok but requires improvement

The end result of my Balenciaga trainers was ok. Slight stain still visible but trainers did smell fresh and I was pleased with the retouches of glueing and stitching. I’ve had the trainers 3 years, they have been worn a lot so for me it was to see what could be done.

In terms of how shoe lab conduct themselves as a business and from a customer service perspective could be improved upon. Especially as the result as I say of the clean was ok. - I’d suggest extending the turnaround time specified to avoid further complaints. - I would not be adding return postage on as an additional fee after you’ve paid for the initial clean include it in the initial cost if necessary. - In terms of repairs which they assess at the time of cleaning again if rough approximations could be listed/and or you be given a price beforehand based on pictures for example.

Additionally shouldn’t need to chase up when x, y and z will be completed. The customer service should be there particularly when you’ve paid for extra services.

I had considered sending another pair of trainers but given I know how extensive the repairs would be on these and not knowing an approximation in advance, I’m reluctant to do so.

Terrible experience!

I sent trainers to Shoe Lab in March. They are saying DPD did not deliver them and would look into it. I have chased using the phone, email and Facebook messenger but have not had a response from them since 3rd June.
How can a company simply fail to respond to its customers about a lost item!

Just wow!!

Just wow!!! Received my daughter’s laboutin trainers back and they literally look like new!!! They were really tired and grubby looking and had even lost some spikes which have been replaced, we literally have a brand new pair of trainers!! Thank you so much, the best money I’ve spent in ages 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Came back worse than what they went

Sent my trainers which were pretty much brand new with a few scuffs they came back with blue dye or something all over the front bits which is baffling because they had nothing like that on at first? They said they would need to re dye them which would cost an extra £80 which I refused the actual clean itself was sub par would not use again absolute waste of time and money DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY there are so many better ones about took around a month aswell to receive them back when it states 10 days on the website

ShoeLab Beware Before Using ! Does not MEET EXPECTATIONS

I was surprisingly disappointed in this process.

1. It took a month to receive my shoes . Outside of the agreed process.

2. The communication was terrible. I would get a trickle of messages from time to time with updates .

4. When finally my product was ready to be shipped they said my shoe needs all this work which is 100 pounds more. I politely declined . They did put on new shoelaces for free but not really go above for the customer.

5. This is really what got me upset. I provided a dustbag for the show for both and it was returned without the dust bags. Very unhappy with this! Now I’m losing money if I want to resell.

The expectations were not met with this service. I thought that it would be a useful service , it was not. Very unhappy.
