Brilliant service

These guys are THE best! Was just about to throw a couple pairs of my white trainers in the bin. But got in touch with SHOE LAB,they picked them up & dropped them off to my door & they look brand new again. Absolutely amazing these guys,will be using them again. Would just say they are so busy,they do try their best to get your trainers back to you as soon as they can. Thanks again guys for the great service

I paid for a 47£ shoe cleaning service…

I paid for a 47£ shoe cleaning service once paid for I got an email of confirmation and in the email it said I would get a label to attach to my parcel from dpd but that never got to me this is a scam ! They do not give you services as promised

If I could give a zero rating I would! They had my treasured Louboutin shoes from January till April after many messages chasing where they were up to and lies given they were finally returned in a condition I can only describe as a child has done in 5 minutes. The paint work rough and bubbly not sanded or care taken, patent leather paint touched up with what looks like Matt paint, big scratch through the front of patent leather, the red sole repaint showing over the sides again no care taken or sanded down. Paid extra for protective sprays, insurance and shoe trees not received any of this. Been asking for the insurance details to make a claim and sent email of complaint and not even acknowledged. I would not trust these with anything of you actually care about it. I paid a lot of money for this repair and it has left me distraught!

Great job

Great job! I couldn’t even notice the scuff on my Hermes Oran sandals. Quick and efficient, fair price too. Definitely will do more repairs!

Too expensive for the service

Slow communication and service, and not worth the money for the extra services. Actually offered to re-paint the heel, but just painted over the Alexander McQueen logo and charged a good amount for the privilege.

I wouldn't use again - there are similar services that are much better value for money.

100% recommended

I sent two pairs of Jimmy Choo diamond trainers to ShoeLab for restoration, and I cannot recommend this company enough.

It took longer than expected, but they were very communicative and updated me on their progress.

My trainers just arrived today, and they look like I just bought them from the shop.

Also, the prices were very competitive, considering that I had been quoted elsewhere more than double just to restore one pair.

100% recommended, but please be patient as they are very busy. They work a lot with Flannels.

They Never Fail to Impress

Went and used them a second time with a pair of really dirty white Air Maxes.

When I tell you they gave it a clean!!! They look box fresh new.

This service will definitely be used again and I couldn’t recommend them more!

Sent my shoes over to get repainted and cleaned and they came back looking better than ever, honestly and they were returned to me in rapid time, I honestly couldn’t speak highly enough of them they are second to none and will always be my first choice to to send any of my shoes to 10/10

Their job is not sufficient and they will ignore your emails!!! Do not use this service.

They fixed my shoes when their services say 2-3 weeks they took over 6 weeks to fix my shoes and when I received, it was a job well done but the stitching came undone within a day and I told them about this repeatedly via email (only way to contact) and they ignored my emails when they have the right to repair it properly. I will be taking this to the next person up and they will be hearing about it!

Perfect service - valentinos

My light blue Valentino’s were in serious need of a clean and I DM’d ShoeLabUK on Instagram regarding a quote. They replied very quickly and they got DPD to collect my shoes ASAP. My shoes needed glue work and paintwork as well as a deep clean. Communication was clear and precise and my shoes came back immaculate. They additionally offered other services like protective sprays and new laces etc etc but these all vary on the condition of your shoes and if you wanted this service additionally, I opted for the spray at an extra £10. If I was being really picky on negatives this would be the time frame as they said around a week to get these completed however these came in 2 weeks and personally I wasn’t in a rush to recieve these back and as a reputable business I can imagine they have a lot of shoes to clean on a daily basis. Overall I’ll be sending another pair of shoes back for a clean, amazing job done by ShoeLabUK.

Extended Christmas Holiday, Total Mismanagement & Cheeky Extra Fees.

Experience very similar with Jade below.

Sent my shoes off on the 12th December, plenty of time to receive them back before Christmas, and surely New Years right? Wrong. I got them back on the 9th January… 28(!) days later - this is just unacceptable considering they advertise to have them returned to you within 7 days of receiving. I wonder if they have ever delivered on that speed?

After constantly chasing where the shoes were it was evident ShoeLab don’t work weekends and they had an outrageous amount of time off during the festive period. My estimation from the correspondence I had with the company was 20th Dec - 2nd Jan (12 days) was closed for business - again a huge misrepresentation to not make that known to customers making orders around Christmas.

I can deal with delays & I can deal with unexpected issues. What I can’t deal with is ShoeLab then having the cheek to tell me “additional” work needs doing on my shoes and send me a list of charges including; glue work (£10), laces (£6), shoe trees (£8), protective spray (£10), postage insurance (£6)…. To tell you I was gobsmacked is an understatement. Why is someone not using discretion and apologising for the delay and saying “we are so sorry for how long this has taken, we have gone ahead and replaced your damaged laces and popped on some protective spray to ensure you are happy with our service!”

How difficult would that have been? and how different would my experience and subsequently my review had been. God knows why you have to pay extra for half of that stuff anyway. Especially the postage, why is it my responsibility to cover the insurance for your companies postage?

Flimsy box arrived, no thank you card or any sort of sign of a professionally finished service having been conducted. Just shoes in a box. Again, perhaps a peak behind the curtain of how much they care about their customers - a typical “small-business” wouldn’t leave you any doubts like these.

The actual quality itself was ok. That’s it. The shoes have a yellow tint to them instead of a bright white which is disappointing after their extended-stay. I didn’t get that “WOW” when I opened them at all. No amazing smell to them or anything - again, just shoes in a box.

Structurally the heel of my shoes are damaged and now uncomfortable.

Take your custom elsewhere and don’t waste your time.

Amazing customer service

Amazing customer service! My LV shoes were ruined beyond repair and they done magic on my shoes. They are always communicating and if you ever have any questions they are always happy to answer. Overall, 10/10 service from them and would do it over and over again with them. Thank you ShoeLab:)

Had the most horrendous experience

Had the most horrendous experience, still to this day it has never been resolved.

I sent a pair of white canvas trainers, they were worth around £550. As they were canvas I wanted to use what I thought was a professional company to clean them to limit any chance of damage.

The first time I received them back which took several months, were wet upon arrival, covered in orange water stain marks and worst of all the fabric on the heel of the shoe had been torn. It looked as if the item had been rubbed with something abrasive and caused the canvas to tear. When I showed them pictures of how I sent them, they still denied it was them.

I sent them back to be repaired and to try and remove the water damage, stains and tear. Only to chase for months and months for them to ultimately tell me they can’t repair the damage and it wasn’t them. So they said the best they can do is clean them again, apparently they cleaned them again and the same thing happened they turned up soaking wet within the packaging and covered in orange water stains. I spent months and months nearly a year chasing them for an answer and a refund. I have never received anything back and I have lost £550 pair of trainers plus the price of having the work done which was over £100.

I would highly recommend staying away! You run the risk of damaging high quality and expensive items
