I sent my shoes to Shoe Lab at the beginning of December. They received them on the 4th and were cleaned and ready for return by the 14th. Great work you’d say … I only got them back today (3rd January 2024) 1 day short of a month. My shoes look no different, they don’t look like they’ve been cleaned and they don’t smell like they’ve been cleaned. There is a tiny break in the leather on the right shoe which hasn’t been repaired as I was informed. It cost me £54 to not have my favourite shoes for a month. Personally I’d recommend looking online and getting the stuff to clean them yourself. Total waste of money. The communication from this company is by text and the website does not tell you the true cost of having your shoes revamped. Completely unprofessional in every way throughout. I would have waived the ridiculous time to get them back if they looked clean but they don’t. I’ve been ripped off and there’s no other way to put it.

All great to start with send the shoes and they are good at replying to start with!
My trainers have been gone 4 weeks now, yes it’s Christmas but was told they would be sent back before, still no show. Then they said they will posted on the 27th still no update and no update

I would not use this company again nor would recommend as well stay away !!!

My trainers came back looking brand new and I could not recommend shoe lab’s services enough, all the staff were really accommodating with all the queries I had before I sent my shoes off and the process was seamless!

Done a mint job on my shoes, they were ready for the bin and they’ve managed to bring them back to factory fresh condition. Quick turnaround to posted next day delivery. Would highly recommend.

Waste of time unless you agree to spending almost as much as you did on the trainers for a repaint, they claimed to of cleaned them, spent £40 for them to be returned in the same condition they left

My heels got destroyed on stones and the team have absolutely restored them good as new, cannot believe it. I will be telling everyone I know :)

They were able to restore my Axels back to fantastic condition considering the backs of the shoe were completely worn through.

They were responsive when you message them but you do need to chase. Be aware that if you need any patching up it will take longer than the initial 10 days given.

However, once I made clear my timelines they were able to get my shoes back to me when I needed them.

Communication could have been better an took abit longer that expected but trainers came back like new

What an incredible job! I had my vintage 70s glam rock platform shoes in much need of restoration, literally, and that's what they have gone through at Shoe Lab. They now look like I just bought them new from the shop, and, it's weird of course, I can't stop looking at them! I shouldn't wear them anymore and just leave them there on display. If you are looking for a company that has good communication skills, do not use Shoe Lab. On their website it says that they aim to deliver your shoes back to you within a week. I then I received a message that it might instead take 7-10 days. On the 7th day I messaged them on Instagram, I was advised to contact them on their mobile number, no response. As the 10 days would have been a Saturday, I made sure to specify that I wanted a Saturday delivery as I am travelling on the Monday. I was reassured that this will be completing. I got an e-mail from DPD that delivery would be done on Monday. The whole process has been poor and they are aware of it because they have seen my messages and ignored me.

Turn-around time was very impressive, less than 9 days from pick up to drop off.
Very convenient, appreciated the extra option of insurance & would highly recommend

I’ve given the guys at shoelabuk.com two pairs of expensive trainers in very bad condition and I received them back brand new. The job they do is outstanding. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

Sent my Gucci trainers off for a little restoration as they were looking worn, they literally came back brand new and couldn't recommend enough.

Sent my white Alexander McQueens for a deep clean and eventually agreed to get them repainted as well (which I was sceptical to do at first). I received my shoes swiftly after and noticed that the logos had been painted over as shoelab hadn't specified the additional cost to repaint logos, which was very disappointing. However I spoke with Kye from the shoelab team who was amazing and managed to organise for me to get the logos painted on properly with a very short turn around as both myself and the lady who paints the logos were going away the following week. Outstanding customer service and very grateful for Kye and the shoelab team for returning my shoes in MINT condition. Would definitely use again :)
