I booked their Design Visit to have a designer come to mine and my fiancé's house for a two-hour walkthrough of what work we wanted to have done. I was very impressed that this was a complimentary service they offered and prepared thoroughly for the appointment to make the most of that time.

Three hours before, I received an email from the designer to tell me he was still with another customer so wouldn't make it as planned and asked for more slots next week. I explained to him how disappointed I was about this, particularly given that at the time I was nearly 40 weeks pregnant so time was of the essence. Days have now passed and he's still not responded to me.

Thoroughly disappointing service, terrible time management and a lack of customer decency.

Given the hugely positive reviews on here, this might be a one-off caused by this particular designer, and not a reflection of the company, but I had to share this experience in case others here are in similar positions or are considering booking a Design Visit with this company.

From design to fitting all excellent communication. Designed by Adeeba who was great at offering all options and alternatives as well as being patient with me making changes. The surveyor was great and offered me extras of a cornice that gives a nice finish and reduced the cost a little. Lee Kirk fitted everything and was clean and polite, always checking in with me on progress to ensure I was happy and completed a lovely job. I have had 2 minor issues with damage in transit but Lee has ordered replacements before he finished the job. Would highly recommend as my new bedroom looks lovely

We have just had a media wall fitted and we are really delighted with the finished look.
Good communication throughout and although our original fitter was ill, Sharps immediately organised another fitter to do the job on the same date as promised. Our fitter Filip Mihail was very professional and hardworking and the job was completed on time.
Sharps arranged a company to collect all the packaging and rubbish - again, quick and they arrived as promised.
Our overall experience from booking to finished project was excellent.

Friends of ours had Sharps fitted wardrobes and recommended them. Once we saw the quality and fit of their products, we decided to approach them for a quote.

From my initial contact with sales person Mike Ryan to completion of our project, this whole experience with Sharps has been a refreshing delight!
Our requirements were for a non standard box shelving unit at approximately 3.2metres high, and took many hours of design and deliberation from Mike, who very patiently did his upmost to achieve our vision.
This was then brought to life by Paul the surveyor, who again worked diligently with me to iron out any complications brought about by the design. He had an eye for detail and ensured that every feature had been accounted for.
One day prior to the delivery of the materials I was given a call to advise us of such. After the delivery I was called again by Sukhvir Pooni (planning & Installations coordinator), who ensured we had received all our materials and confirmed the date for fitting. Sukhvir also reassured us that he would be available in case we had any queries.
The day before our installation was due, our fitter Mike (Mihai Otoiu) text me to confirm he would be arriving at 8am and checked that we had the room prepared in order for him to start immediately.
Sure enough at 7.45am the next day, Mike arrived and proceeded to fit our unit. All I can say is what a CRAFTSMAN!! Not just a fitter, he was highly skilled and meticulous with every detail. I cannot express how impressed we were with his work - it was absolutely exceptional!! He was also superbly professional and helpful.
At the end of 3 days our project was completed. We are beyond pleased!! There were a couple of parts hic-cups along the way, but they were communicated immediatly to manufacturing, and the very next morning before the fitter arrived - they were delivered!!! We were honestly blown away with the service.

All we can say is we would use and recommend Sharps in a heartbeat! In fact we already have to our nephew!

3rd complaint and still not sorted. Spoke to dozens of people yesterday and even to the point of spoken to the regional manager of sales for the east team. Everyone apologised and completely understands my situation but nothing is being done about it. Apparently there’s an issue with my finance agreement this is AFTER one of the bedrooms has been fully fitted and the other is half done, and should the poor fitter not done his back in then I would have had a wardrobe, not the room looks like it’s been bombed with 8ft panels lying around. Don’t get me wrong the guys on the phone have been good but no one is taking accountability for this, although they know it’s sharps fault. Paying near enough 9k for this so called premium service for what exactly! Honestly speechless and honestly want to bang my head on the wall from this choice. I was in absolute tears yesterday literally on the phone to the poor guy from sharps not his fault I know but I am the one left in limbo. Taken 4 days unpaid leave from work to be able to have these fitted and just sitting home waiting around for the to sort out the finance that was done 6 WEEKS AGO. 6 WEEKS same issue and it was resolved. Received the paperwork with the correct amount paid in the deposit and correct amount financed and correct amount billed on the 4th of August. Unacceptable and unbelievable! Apparently this slipped through the cracks as said by one of the staff members yesterday and should have never happened. I get that but it slipped through the cracks of SHAPRS not me I done everything correctly from my side. The best part now: I only have 2 options, I can paid the amount that there is a discrepancy on in cash outright or if I do a finance agreement the rule is they have to wait 14 days because of cooling off period. That’s means I will have to sit for a further 14 days AFTER the finance agreement to wait till they can fit it. I am on leave till Thursday the 10th and that’s it. That’s the timeframe they have no further than that. In addition the wardrobe that they are “refusing to fit” is actually the one that I have paid for and settled through the finance the one completed is the one that the finance is being questioned on. And this has got nothing to do with the finance company themselves is the paperwork that was processed my sharps to begin with as the agreement was done in two separate contracts. Let’s see what they come back with because I can tell you for a fact they will wash their hands clean with this and say but that’s just our process like they said when I told them that I wanted a refund and they said no as the manufacturer has already done the material and delivered in but couldn’t even tell me if the fitter was coming for sure or not and the relevant team wasn’t there. When I told them that I would be getting the refund as they are breaching their contract me as a customer and if anything I would get it all back in full, they got someone from the relevant team to ring and chase the fitter whom showed up 3 hours late.

Further update to this evening the lady from the finance team called me to do the finance which she said should have been done before but didn’t ( but it was done INCORRECTLY BY SHARPS)

I will tell you this when I spoke to the managers they were stuttering because they were even speechless with everything apologised million times and apparently it was escalated for this matter to be resolved! That was yesterday, and was assured it would be dealt with as a priority today you know when the finance was resolved ? At 17:10 today . That’s after the offices closed so guess who has now “paid” but hasn’t resolved anything? ME! No one else but ME.

SHARPS- tomorrow will be my 3rd day on unpaid leave! This service has been nothing but atrocious! You have breached your contact and either resolve this matter and also at this point tell me what it’s going to happen for the stress anxiety and absolute mess you have created in my house, because of YOUR incompetence! You can’t play with my precious time and wellbeing and think you can get away with it.

Save yourselves - honestly this is genuinely the worst thing I have even had to sign up for- not worth the product. Not worth the hassle

Ordered in June 2026 and agreed Monday 17 August for delivery and fitting Planned around this in terms of emptying rooms and personal travel and holiday plans.
Sharps call end of the week before to tell me materials will come on 18th but fitter only on 22nd and 23rd - the weekend. Faced with further delay to move it I reluctantly agreed. Then Sharps call 17th to say delivery will be across two days as they have an "overload".
Deliveries came on designated days and materials - many having been carried loose in metal cage in van and not bubble/cardboard wrapped - took up my hallway and study for that week. Installer arrives Saturday and after 90 minutes identifies five main panels have significant scratches or dings either from delivery or in some cases poor quality control at the factory (scratches covered by blue quality control plastic film...). Result - an "abort". Fitter leaves after notifying Sharps. Following Monday I get a call re new delivery and fitting dates - again a further week away - and with a fitter who now needs 3 days to do the work rather than the 2 estimated originally (and which first installer said he could do in 1 day at a push). When I asked how I could have comfort the panels delivered would be in better condition customer services spoke with factory manager to get his QC assurance and was told replacement parts are carefully wrapped. Ended up pushing back so I could get original installer and shorter timeframe. Installer himself (Trevor) was top notch and did a good job. One white panel still had a scratch and a ding - but by this stage I had had enough of the upheaval and school term was approaching.
Post installation we needed to get someone in from Sharps with a touch up pen as the Midnight blue colour panels were seeping some glue from the manufacturing process not having been finished properly.
Then had a back and forth with Sharps over appropriate compensation - ended up settling for £300.
For a £6.5k job the standards fell well below what I would expect. The quality control at Sharps factory and their corporate decision not to carefully wrap and protect materials on initial delivery effectively pushes the substantive risks of damage and associated delays onto customers - and the self-employed fitters - who end up with a peanuts abort fee and a day lost. The fact that a special request needed to be made to get a quality check on the replacement materials - rather than this being standard - and the fact that there was still some damage despite that - show that the manufacture and delivery are where Sharps let themselves and customers down. I suspect that some fitters would have proceeded the first time round - leaving the customer to wait for remediation of the damaged panels. The customer services team were pleasant throughout and did their best within the framework set for them.

Time will tell re: how well the furniture holds up and how well the firm keeps to their 15 year guarantee - but I will not be doing any further business with them.

I used sharps to install a fitted wardrobe and shelving unit. The service was excellent. From design phase to installation, it was quick and good value for money. Everything was explained and there are plenty of options to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly all the parts came! Installer Jason whitting was also super friendly and completed an excellent job within a quick timeframe.

Serghei Vizitiu was very professional. Hard worker and very thorough. Answered any questions and went through all the work he was doing.
A value asset to Sharps

Booked for Sharps to come for a design visit for wall of wardrobes in about a week. Company sent numerous emails offering various levels of discount if I ordered within 3 days, no VAT etc.etc. Several texts confirming the day and time. No reply offered on text

At 7-45pm the evening before, I received a call cancelling the appointment and wanting to re-arrange.
They apologised for phoning so late but thought it better than in the morning!
I was not impressed, since I had reorganised
my schedule for the appointment. We are all busy people.
Sharps are a big company who spend much time and energy on marketing but not able to meet an appointment. I dislike this style of operating by companies.
Sharps are now off my list of possible contenders for supplying and fitting wardrobes.

Aleksandr was great. He was professional, easy to talk to, got on with it by himself with minimal help. He tided the place after he left. Great workmanship a 7454

All round great purchase

Having fitted wardrobes replaced in 3 bedrooms at one time proved more disruptive than I expected ! However, the overall service from Sharps has been excellent from start to finish. From initial assessment to a store visit, to survey, to pre fitting work by John Small - everyone has been very helpful indeed and good to deal with . I want to make special mention of Stuart Kennedy-Darroch who was my fitter for 4 days. I cannot praise his work too highly and it was a pleasure to have him around . Overall, a very positive experience. Thank you to all.

We were really impressed with the quality workmanship and attention to detail of our Sharps joiner, Mike Morris. Mike did an excellent job completing our fitted furniture to a very high standard which looks great and we are really happy with.

Dean Grant came on Wednesday dead on time and has just left this Sunday. He completed two large Instillations in my bedrooms and I am thrilled with the result. He worked solo, causing absolutely no disruptions and not taking any noticeable breaks. So pleasant and helpful at all times understanding that I was unable to help with any heavy work. Ikram my designer can be proud of his plans. The colours are just what I wanted and the quality is consistently good as my other installations in another house. THANKYOU Dean.
