washing machine broken within less than a year, told it would have to be replaced.After 1 month still no idea when I will receive a replacement. Called customer service team - yet again - to be on hold for over an hour & got cut off twice. Still no uplift code!! was told to call back today (even though I said are you open as its Good Friday!! Oh yes someone will be able to take your call) -Well that was a lie as phone lines closed - so now will have to wait until Tuesday to try to get hold of someone & hopefully get this issue sorted out. Broke still under warranty
My sharp washing machine broke a month before it was out of warranty. I have taken insurance too just in case it was accidental. They have promised me a 3 hour window the day before which the time now has passed to receive this slot and yet they state on their website that if I cancel that day I may still be charged. I called them today to tell them I needed a way to cancel or postpone as I have an emergency vet app in the morning and there was nothing on the message apart from the fact he was due in the morning. I have taken the day off work for this and will loose over 200 and yet they can't do their job and lie. I'm disgusted with them. They say you will receive the message by 6pm but their lines close at 5pm. Joke. Not only are their products useless and don't last but their customer service is just as shocking
Aquos TV. Absolutely awful
I wanted to add my voice to the various comments regarding Aquos TVs.
The one I have is a piece of junk and has been from day one.
It has always ‘lost’ it’s tuning of stations. Chunks of the list of stations will just disappear so you have to re-tune to get them back. Totally random. Sometimes it will lose a few, sometimes half the channels etc. the most annoying thing is when it just ‘hangs’ on the channel list. The ‘roundel’ in the top right corner spins permanently with a ‘loading’ message. This does not clear at all. The set is completely unresponsive from then on. It will take no notice of any other remote button input. Not even the ‘off’ button. The only way out is to completely unplug the set to a total power down. It has a ‘record to usb’ function which works if it feels like it. It will show ‘program saved’ and show the little record icon on the channel list, but 50% of the time absolutely nothing happens and nothing is recorded. If it does record something it doesn’t show on the record list (so can’t be deleted) although it can be played back. Oh! The list goes on and on.
This is undoubtedly the worst, most unreliable set I have ever owned and after 18 months I am thoroughly tired of ‘fighting’ with it all the time and it will soon be heading for the dump. It’s criminal to scrap an 18 month old TV, but I can’t even give it away to family or friends because I know they will become as frustrated with it as quickly as I did.
As others have said, any attempt at help is totally futile. I’m sure my 10 year old nephew is more tech-savvy than sharp’s ‘customer service’. I’ve tried an internet connected firmware upgrade but nothing fixes it.
Another sharp product? I don’t think so!
I cannot remember being so bitterly disappointed with any other product I’ve bought - ever.

Washing machine deemed unrepairable after less than a year. More than a week after still have not heard from them with an uplift code, so that it could be exchanged. On hold for customer services for over an hour. So far still holding

FAULTY TUMBLE.DRYER
Bought a tumble dryer only 6months later there is constant problem amd customer service is terrible.
Heat Pump Dryer
After reading the reviews here I was dreading trying to get our heat pump dryer fixed after the capacitor failing after just 1 year. It was difficult to initially get through to the warranty team but once a repair appointment was booked with Pacifica who completed the repair, the process was really straightforward and it was fixed in about 2 weeks. The communication from Pacifica was also excellent.Yes it isn't ideal that the dryer stopped working after 1 year but thankfully the Sharp guarantee covers for 2 years unlike other brands.
In the future, I would likely just go back to Hotpoint, Indesit or a different brand for other appliances due to the overall poor reliability this dryer appears to have so far.

Wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. Washer under warranty reported fault been 10 weeks and still no repair. Made a complaint still awaiting repair. Would never buy this brand again
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. Have had two brand new tumble dryers delivered to me faulty. Curry’s replaced it the first time, couldn’t get hold of sharp at all. Sent out an engineer the second time told me the heat pump needs replacing. Why does a heat pump need replacing on brand new product? Haven’t been able to get hold of anyone since. The engineer himself said sharp just stick their name on the tumble dryers and don’t actually make them, he has no training. Said I should have gone to John Lewis.

Sharp tv warranty registration don't work .I have tried several times to register the new tv but when you are asked to pick your product from the list, tv's are not listed . I tried to contact the Sharp customer service but you need to complete an on line form in the form it ask you for your email address but my email address
keep being rejected and asking for none consumer email . I think the sharp website is all messd
up and customer are left without any
form of contacting them .I tried to
phone them but the call centre is in
US. Therefore I hung up I didn't want to run up a phone bill .Shocking !!!

This company is a scam, never buy from them, they have 0 customer service, never respond to calls or messages, I was trying to reach them already for 2 years for diffrent items I bought from them, not a sinlde response, no repairs, no warranty , nothing. Stay away from them

Ho acquistato Lavatrice sharp da 10kg sembra si e no da 8 dopo 7 giorni dall'acquisto ho dovuto svuotare il contenitore dell ammorbidente prima del lavaggio che era pieno di acqua e il lavaggio di 1 ora è durato 1 ora e mezza. Sono andato al negozio dove ho acquistato la lavatrice (euronics a Lavello PZ) o esposto i problemi e mi è stato detto che l'acqua nella vaschetta dell'ammorbidente era normale, non l' ho fatto neanche finire che me ne sono andato.

Shap lcd tv 40" 4 yrs old. Screen is dead. Have sound. This tv from new has frequently had to be disconnected to reboot the chip when it refused to change channels etc. I wouldn't mind but I gave away a perfectly good Sony bravia 40" when I got this. I wouldn't touch another sharp.

Compré una lavadora SHARP ES-HFB8143W3ES 8KG 1400 con la esperaza de que durara como mínimo los 11 años de mi Balay modelo super sencillo que la sustituí por oxidarse y saltar algún programa. La Sharp pese a su brutal publicidad es una auténtica porquería. Duró solo 2 años el motor según me dijo el técnico se había descompensado y el ruido era de un tambor acústico, insoportable sin contar el plástico de la puerta que se agrietó interiormente haciendo que el cierre no encajara y diese error de puerta abierta. El ST inexistente llamada a Madrid y servicio de recambio nulo, nadie trabaja el recambio de Sharp. En resumen olvidate de Sharp sea lo que sea porque es tirar el dinero. Solo indicar que somos 3 en casa y que pone. 2 o 3 veces a la semana programa de 15 minutos y ropa normal sin sobre carga. Saludos

If I could leave a zero review I would. I called sharp three different times got three different women that could barely speak English very knowledgeable very rude and all three said something different about my issue. One woman had me convinced she was correct thankfully I did not take her advice or I would have blown up my headphones. Then I made the mistake of emailing tech support if you can believe it was a worse experience than the phone calls. Nobody there has any knowledge of anything I knew more than the technician did.. I will never be buying a Sharp Aquos TV again... When you make a purchase you look at the whole picture the price the quality and the service after the sale they have no service after the sale!

I thought Sharp was a reputable brand. Big mistake. The compressor of the Sharp SJ-BB05DTXWE-EN fridge-freezer I bought from Currys has been running constantly since it was installed and has never reached an adequate temperature regardless of the thermostat setting.
None of the Sharp customer service options work. Nobody replies to communications via their online form or email address, and their phone numbers put you through to switchboard menus that either do not route you anywhere or simply cut the call.
Their product warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Do not trust this company, do not buy their products.
