Excellent consistent instruction. Very dog positive. I didn’t want to use a training service that would be a negative experience for my dog. We were unable to attend twice weekly sessions out of town, so this was an excellent option. All the training is done with love, and their instruction was helpful and timely. A full five stars.

The course is very well organized and easy to follow. I very much appreciated having a personal trainer assigned to me whom I could ask questions directly. My dog is deaf so I had to adjust a few things, but my trainer was super helpful. I started out dreading the challenge, but very quickly I understood it was just a fun, constructive way to communicate and connect even better with my pup!

The course was usefull for me and dog, allowing us to learn new things. I was impressed by how quickly my dog absorbed the information, demonstrating a natural and efforting learning process. Comprehensive, supportive and doable
Easy to understand, detailed and practical training material with videos to support learning. Dani and Vincent responded to questions quickly and were very friendly and professional, making the whole process low stress. The first few chapters are short and easy, and the following chapters are longer and more detailed. Don't let that throw you off. Take notes, practice with your dog, and have a friend or family member available to help with taking the required videos.

I am very happy & satisfied with the whole course . Easy to use online training with nicely explained material , and also easily applicable for dog training & making short videos with the skills dog successfully performed.
Throughout the Certified Psychiatric Service Dog Training Course, I feel a growing sense of confidence, purpose, and connection with the material and the training process. In the beginning, I felt somewhat uncertain about how much time and patience would be required to build such a strong emotional and behavioral bond with a service dog. However, as the lessons have progressed, I’ve come to understand that the process is as much about personal growth and emotional awareness as it is about canine behavior and obedience training. Great job in making this whole experience so enjoyable!

Thorough, Professional & Honest
Witty is our second service dog — this time for my wife. We’ve been through this process before, so we know the difference between solid support and empty promises. We completed the Psychiatric Service Dog Training & Certification program using an old computer from the school, and everything worked perfectly.
While writing this review, I came across one negative review — and honestly, it doesn’t reflect our experience at all. From start to finish, everything was professional, transparent, and supportive.
Although Witty was already well-trained, I still found the structure and resources of this course incredibly helpful for reviewing tasks, reinforcing public behavior, and getting the proper documentation.
The course is self-paced, well-organized, and backed by real trainers who review your work and provide genuine feedback. It’s not one of those sites that just gives you a certificate for clicking a few buttons — you have to submit real assignments, and that’s exactly what we wanted.
We also chose to purchase the optional ID Kit. It’s not legally required, but in public situations it’s often helpful to have something to show. We were clearly told it was optional, and there was no pressure — we chose it because it makes things easier when travelling or visiting places that might question access.
The certificate is lifetime-valid. The ID card has an expiration date, just like a passport or driver’s license — which is reasonable for keeping information up to date. When I asked about the renewal, the support team immediately offered to cancel it if we preferred. They were very responsive and professional.
This course doesn’t magically train your dog — but it doesn’t claim to. It gives you the tools, structure, and guidance you need to formalize and document the training you’re already doing. For people like us who take this seriously, it’s exactly what we needed.
Highly recommended for anyone committed to doing it right.

False Claims and Hidden Fees
In the beginning, I was simply looking for some paperwork to carry when needed — my dog is already fully trained. I purchased an online “Psychiatric Service Dog Training & Certification” course that the company presents as a legitimate way to certify a service dog in the U.S. The course was advertised as a full training program, but what I actually received was a set of DIY written materials and basic videos — no formal evaluation, no live instruction, minimum trainer involvement.
Despite that, the company issued an official-looking certificate claiming my dog completed “120 hours of training.” This is completely false. I finished the entire course in just a few hours over 4 days. If she hadn't been trained, this course would not have provided any value.
The ~$400 price for this “training” is already double what other companies charge for similar DIY programs, and the Service Dog ID card is not included. They upsell a separate “Service Dog ID Kit,” advertised as optional, but the card they issue has an expiration date and automatically enrolls you in a yearly renewal — which they vaguely claim is “required by the regulations”, with no reference to which regulations (this is 100% false in the US where they also operate -- no such requirement exists by law -- ADA reference: ada.gov). After I challenged them, they suddenly offered a “free 20-year card,” proving the expiration was arbitrary and used solely as a pressure tactic.
When I asked for a refund due to clear misrepresentation, they refused and pointed to a “no refund after completion” policy. However, refund policies do not override consumer protection laws when the product is deceptive, contains false claims, or is sold under misleading pretenses.
I am already following the official reporting routes (FTC, state consumer protection office, etc.), but I’m sharing my experience here so others can avoid being misled in the same way.

Our training programs are absolutely legitimate and not only presented as such. Regardless of location, service and assistance dogs are expected to have excellent manners in public, respond reliably to obedience cues, and perform specific tasks that benefit their handler. With that said, our service dog courses cover all essential components of service dog training to ensure dogs are properly prepared and can work seamlessly with their handlers as a reliable team.
Our service dog programs are created by our trainers and provide comprehensive information, clear step-by-step guidance, and short animated videos for the practical tasks. They are specifically designed to accommodate the needs of individuals with little to no training experience.
We assess each team's performance and review all the submitted assignments, both theoretical and practical, before issuing a certificate.
While annual recertification is not legally required in the US, periodic reviews every 12 to 24 months are strongly recommended.
These reviews help ensure that:
- The dog continues to perform its trained tasks reliably.
- Behavior remains safe and appropriate in public.
- Health and welfare standards are maintained.
Reviews may also be advised if the dog’s role or the handler’s needs change significantly.
You clearly stated that your dog was already well-trained before enrolling in our program, which explains why you were able to finish the program within four days.
Our prices are among the most affordable on the market, considering the value we offer-access to well-structured, flexible, self-paced programs with full tutor support not only during the training but also after completing the program.
We do offer separate ID Kits for handlers who want to be extra covered in public. These are entirely optional, as clearly written on our website and confirmed by our team member.
The certificate, as proof of training, is valid for a lifetime and does not need to be renewed. However, ID documents serve for identification purposes, and similar to personal IDs, they need to be updated regularly.
As stated on our website, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) does not require service dogs to wear identification. This is entirely optional, and many handlers prefer to carry ID documents for their service dogs as additional proof when seeking accommodations.
Additionally, our team member specifically offered to cancel your subscription for an ID Kit right after placing an order to ensure you wouldn’t receive any renewal notifications or be charged next year:
“However, you can cancel the subscription using the order email immediately after the order is confirmed. If you want, I can cancel the subscription for you after you place the order and send you a confirmation.”
Our Refund policy is clearly listed on the website so that individuals can review it before enrolling in our program.
All the products and services we offer are entirely legitimate, and all relevant information is clearly presented on our website.

Wonderful program
The written content was easy to digest, relevant and applicable. Assignments directly correlated to all of the reading material. When it came time to learn about the training and implement it, I felt well equipped and supported by my trainer. I was able to get my golden retriever certified in time for his first flight all the way across the coast from Oregon to New York.
In addition, as a licensed marriage and family therapist, his status as a service dog has been a wonderful complement to my practice. Highly recommend!

I have chronic diseases and in need to have a service animal, a friend told me about the Servicedog Training School so I signed up..
Since the time I sign up everyone in the whole institute is very friendly and helpful!! They never ask for extra charges and always very patient in answering all of my questions!! They even helped in doing researches according to my needs.

This course truly changed not only my life, but that of my service dog Hanna. She was born in a shelter and lived there for the first 6 months of her life so when I fostered her, she was fearful of people. She bonded to me right away and when I landed in the hospital for a neurological condition, I decided to train her as a service dog to help me. This course was amazing - gave Hanna a purpose in life and helped me so much.
