I can't speak too highly of Nizar Din and his team at Seon Vision! I had a successful cataract operation on both eyes and the care and kindness I received (as a very nervous patient) from everyone there were exceptional. Everything was carefully explained and I have felt fully supported at every stage. The operation has been very successful, and the recovery much quicker and easier than I had expected. The premises are attractive, new and modern, the equipment very impressive, and the personal contact outstanding. I would recommend them without reservation.

I had a cataract operation on both my eyes at Seon Vision on 1 October 2025. I was entirely satisfied with the whole procedure: the initial consultation with Mr Mohsin Patel and eye tests by the technician Gajan on 29 September; the operation itself, under Mr Patel and the nurses Priya and Rachel; and the follow-up visit on 14 October to check that all was well. The receptionists Katie and Peter were extremely welcoming, and the premises in London Road, Kingston are scrupulously clean and pleasant.

I have recovered very quickly and am delighted with my new lenses. I cannot recommend Seon Vision highly enough. Everyone went out of their way to explain to me what was happening and what my options were. Professionalism was mixed with great kindness.

A further recommendation is the car park at the back of the building, making visits to Seon Vision easy for those who can drive a car or be driven.

I have recently undergone upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery (both eyes) at Seon Vision in Kingston-upon-Thames. Very pleased with the results! My surgeon, Ms Michelle Ting, is highly skilled, professional and personable. I cannot fault the treatment and service I have received from the whole team. Highly recommended.

My experience of Seon Vision has been nothing but positive. I now have fantastic eyesight, following several years of rapidly deteriorating vision due to cataracts and living with astigmatisms in both eyes. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the expertise and professionalism of my consultant certainly made me less nervous about the procedure. A big thank you to all at SEON vision. From the initial consultation and throughout the procedure for my cataract surgery I was treated with kindness and great efficiency. I had my left eye cataract treated under the NHS at Kingston hospital. At the post operation review when my right eye was discussed, they could not offer the lense I required under the NHS. They suggested SEON vision, and specifically Mr. Patel, would be the way forward. The NHS operation was very painful and I wish I had known about SEON vision earlier.
I am very pleased with the outcome of my latest surgery at SEON vision as I now only need glasses for reading - I had previously worn glasses all my life from the age of 10 and I am now 76.

I just had my second cataract operation at the newly-opened Seon Vision clinic and was impressed by the service and professionalism of all staff. My wonderful surgeon Mr Patel did my first cataract operation at Kingston hospital (private) two months ago and I was so happy with the care and expertise he provided that I decided to have my second eye done at Seon Vision where Mr Patel and sone of his Kingston colleagues now practice. The whole process was very smooth and the clinic itself is pristine. I’d not hesitate to recommend Mr Patel and the excellent staff at Seon Vision to anyone- you can feel confident they will look after you! I myself have come out with 20:20 Vision - a fabulous outcome after early onset cataracts aged 57 which severely affected my vision!

I had such a great experience at SEON Vision, I feel compelled to write a review. I went in to explore options for vision correction (laser surgery) — and honestly, the whole process was really impressive from start to finish.

Mr Din and his team were fantastic — super knowledgeable, patient, and clear in walking me through everything. They ran the absolute full suite of tests - some on machines I've never seen before! - and explained the each test and the overall laser options with a lot of care and patience, making sure I felt totally informed without ever feeling rushed.

The clinic is sleek, modern, and is fully kitted out with very high-tech equipment, but the vibe is still friendly and relaxed. Everyone I interacted with was kind and professional and really helped put me at ease.

I live quite far away from the clinic but based on reviews, I made the long journey across London and can safely say I’d 100% recommend SEON Vision and that it's absolutely worth making the time to make the journey to them - no matter how far you live! I'm now booked in for my LASIK procedure with SEON which I'm really excited about.

My elderly mother has been cared for by Mr Patel who undertook the glycoma surgery for both of her eyes. My mother has been very appreciative of the skill and after care that Mr Patel has provided and has continually praised his care and professionalism.

Early last year (2024) I was diagnosed with developing cataracts in both eyes, and was referred to a Chec clinic by my optometrist. Initially only my left eye was deemed bad enough to merit an operation, which they performed very well, and quite efficiently, on the NHS.
I was given a basic lens for long vision. The improvement was dramatic, but when my right eye deteriorated a few months later my optometrist pointed out that the Chec clinic (and the NHS) would currently only give me another lens for long vision, meaning I would always need spectacles for reading, and that my medium vision was also likely to be compromised.
They recommended Mr. Nizar Din who went through my various options very thoroughly. He offered me the choice of a new , high quality close-up and medium distance lens for my right eye.
The idea was that my brain would interpret the information from both eyes in such a way that I would have good all round vision, potentially without the use of spectacles.
I was delighted with the results. Previously, I had needed glasses for driving, the cinema, and sporting events, and separate glasses for reading. I had experimented with vari-focals (progressive lenses) and never really got on with them.
But now, (it’s a year after the operation), I can get by without the use of glasses at all. I can read my phone or a book, watch a film at the cinema, and see the action at a football match ‘au naturel’. This was actually the case just a few days after the operation, and it’s still the case now.
Some weeks after the operation I visited my optician and was deemed to have 20/20 vision, but was still given a prescription for glasses. If I go to the cinema, I do take them with me, but sometimes forget to put them on. They make a tiny difference, but I’m perfectly happy without them. The same applies to reading. In low light my off-the-shelf reading glasses do help when I’m reading a book, but again, I don’t really need them, and can normally get by without them.
Throughout the entire process, Mr. Din looked after me very well, and the operation went very smoothly. The after-care was superb, and he checked several times that all was well with my healing and recovery.
The whole experience really has given me a new lease of life. Thanks Nizar!
