The help and support that I received from Mariam and Natalie and Helen too, was very much appreciated, through what was a long process initially and then suddenly came to a happy conclusion in a matter of weeks. I purchased a plot of land for a self-build property in the North-East. Finding a firm for conveyancing was tricky. Many firms said they could, but I soon learned they didn't have the competency. Spratt Endicott came to the rescue, and were knowledgeable about such transactions.
At every step of the way, Karen provided precise instructions and communication was open. She followed up in a timely manner to keep things moving. Spratt Endicott were patient as the transaction took longer than expected due to the purchase being tied to approved planning permission.
Despite the complexity, I couldn't have asked for a more painless process. For me, Spratt Endicott was a safe pair of hands.

I worked with Sam and Ore on the sale of my old property and purchase of my new one.

From start to finish it really has been an efficient and surprisingly pleasant experience!

Sam and Ore have been easy to talk to, thorough and very prompt with their replies. During Sam’s annual leave we did briefly deal with Karen who stepped in to help to avoid any delays.

I dealt with a “budget” online solicitor though lockdown for the purchase of a previous property which was a terrible experience and extremely costly in the end but that’s a whole other story! I decided I would never do this again so I got quotes from three local, well established firms. Spratt Endicote actually saved me over £1,000 on fees so there quote was very competitive, but they had a solid reputation so this didn’t raise any concerns. I think that Spratt Endicote pride themselves on offering a great service without over charging which is apparent in both the pricing and service they offer.

They were very vigilant regarding some things on my new property, picking things up that I know from previous experiences would have been missed by other solicitors.

They also had no issues working to a completion deadline set by the seller of my new property, there was no delays our end at all.

They replied to all enquiries regarding my sale to my buyers solicitor promptly and we were never chased by the estate agents to give them a nudge!

Overall, very happy and I will be using Spratt Endicote for all my legal matters in the future.

Useless and ineffective, the staff offer endless excuses for why they haven't made progress on your file. The other side hasn't responded, I'm waiting for this, I'm waiting for that. I have been waiting over 4 months now for completion.

If you ring the office the reception are lovely, namely Jenny and Sue. But they can't actually put you through to anyone because the conveyancers refuse to come to the phone.

On a rare occasion I was able to get through, I literally overheard a conveyancer in the background saying, I'm not f**king coming to the phone, tell them to go away.

Disgusting behavior from the solicitors in Banbury that charge more than anyone else.

Used for a family law case and the experience was so poor it resulted in having to serve notice on the firm.

Issues included causing delays to proceedings, failing to act on reasonable instruction, failing to send documents to the other side and sending draft documents to me that included details of other clients the firm represents.

Avoid at all cost.

This firm were employed to facilitate a property sale and purchase. They were appalling. They sat on information provided for in excess of 2 weeks, delaying the entire chain and refused to join coordination calls across the chain in order for all properties involved to work towards a collective completion date. the reason was because they realised they were the single point of failure. Never use this firm. Appalling

Natalie (and Mariam) from Spratt Endicott’s Banbury office recently dealt with the conveyancing of our mother’s house and could not have been more helpful, efficient, patient and friendly. We had three quotes from local solicitors and they were all broadly similar, but deciding on Spratt Endicott was an excellent decision.
