Outstanding support throughout my German immigration process

I do not recommend this company
EDIT: Despite knowing my case, Schlun & Elseven attempted to get my reviews removed entirely alleging I was never their client and my reviews were thus defamatory under German law. Only after I proved with evidence that all my claims are true, they issued this response below. Pathetic behaviour from a legal company.
I hired Schlun & Elseven for a contractor dispute. At €400 per hour, I expected strategic advice and precision.
What I experienced was: a formal legal demand was sent to me for review containing a deadline with the wrong year (2025 on a 2026 document); a subsequent version of that demand letter omitted the deadline entirely (a basic requirement to compel action), another draft contained a factual error that, if sent as written, could have undermined the claim. I spent a lot of time catching and correcting errors, pointing out to supportive evidence, re-sending documents already in possession of the company. Much of the billing appeared to be pure administrative; emails I was already copied on were forwarded back to me at €400 per hour, with no legal analysis or challenge added. When I raised these specific deficiencies in writing, the firm conducted an internal review and concluded that their work met the "highest standards." No acknowledgment of the documented errors was provided.
I do not recommend this company.

In commercial disputes involving a significant degree of conflict, out-of-court correspondence regularly goes through several stages of review, coordination, and refinement. Drafts are intentionally discussed with clients, revised, and legally developed further prior to being sent. We naturally take seriously that you perceived certain aspects of the collaboration as insufficient.
Please also understand that legal work does not solely consist of preparing final demand letters or submissions. It also includes the legal review and assessment of documents, strategic analysis, ongoing client communication, as well as the processing and evaluation of incoming correspondence. These services form part of the legal representation provided and are billed in accordance with the agreed hourly fee arrangement.
The points raised by you were reviewed internally once again. Following that review, we were unable to identify any conduct that, from our perspective, deviated from the high professional and legal standards of our firm.
Our objective at all times is to advise clients with commitment, diligence, and the necessary legal depth, while pursuing commercially sensible and efficient solutions wherever possible. We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations in this particular matter.
