Don’t know when parts will be available….scooter just sitting indefinitely in there store with no communication. Phone off the hook
Took my one month old scooter back to Scooter Hut Balcatta to have the break lever repaired end of January. It’s now end of March and they still can’t tell me when they might get the parts (I’ve seen on eBay for less than $40). I had to drive to the store as the phone is off the hook. SMS takes you to an internet page which just says they are waiting on parts. How long will this go on? Reading other reviews I feel it’s not coming back. I went to a bike shop to buy another scooter recently as a result. Stay clear of this company. They don’t have the parts or customer service that they claim. Go to a bike store instead.

SCOOTERHUT BALCATTA - CAN'T GET PARTS - MUST BE GOING UNDER
Stay away from ScooterHut. Booked in Jan 27, 2026 Balcatta store for repair to stem, clip, under plate and rear fender. They don't know when they will arrive. Last week (2 months) I was told they are waiting on two parts (clip and rear fender). I ordered the clip and fender on Amazon and then called Scooterhut to ask when I could pick up my scooter. It was then I was told the stem had not been fitted etc. Complain? to who? Ollie at the store says there was no manager so the 'Technician' will def call me on Monday. Guess what? It's now Friday - no contact, no scooter no delivery date.

This has been the most disappointing…
This has been the most disappointing and frustrating experience I've ever had with an online store. I paid in full on Sunday 15 March 2026 for a scooter as a birthday gift for my daughter on Friday 20 March.
Their policy states they aim for same-day dispatch on business days, with no processing on weekends. It should have been handled Monday 16th and shipped by Tuesday 17th at the latest.
Instead: nothing happened. I sent multiple messages starting Monday asking for updates and tracking. Responses were only vague "we're reviewing it" replies from Dani, with no real information or action. I clearly explained it was urgent for my daughter's birthday – no priority was given.
By the end of Tuesday 17th, they admitted it wasn't dispatched and said they'd process a refund. Now they're delaying even that, with no clear timeline or confirmation it's been done.
Australian Consumer Law requires prompt refunds for undelivered goods – this is not happening. I also submitted a genuine 1-star review on their own customer reviews page but it doesn't appear anywhere. The page claims thousands of positive reviews yet shows nothing, which feels like they're hiding negative feedback to mislead customers.
They took payment quickly but provided zero service, no proper communication, no urgency, and now slow refund processing. This ruined a special birthday surprise for my child.
Avoid Scooter Hut completely. Terrible company with no care for customers.

The valve stem on my Urban Mantis 2025…
The valve stem on my Urban Mantis 2025 e scooter has snapped off twice due to poor design — it’s simply too long.
The first failure happened just days after purchase, with less than 30 km on the scooter. The second occurred about a month later, at under 280 km total. Despite the scooter being under a 12 month warranty and having travelled less than 1,000 km, I was charged for the second repair.
There was also a separate issue with scraping on the rear wheel that required attention.
This valve issue is a serious safety concern. My son has been stranded twice as a result. We requested a credit or refund, but Scooter Hut has not been forthcoming.
My son saved his birthday and Christmas money for years to buy locally, believing we’d be protected by better warranty support. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case — Amazon would have offered a better return policy.
Scooter Hut may be good at producing flashy, social media-friendly ads, but when real issues arise, customer support is disappointing.
I won’t be shopping here again. Go somewhere else.
I had an issue with my Scooter
I had an issue with my Scooter. After contacting the customer service department, it was advised that I return my scooter for a check-up. They paid for and collected the scooter from me and sent it to their servicing department, while it was there the customer service team would keep me informed of the process via email, a few times I actually called and spoke with a customer service rep. The scooter was returned to me after a few weeks but they had forgotten to return the charger and spare tyres which I had originally returned with the scooter. A quick call to the customer service department and they had it sorted, sending me a replacement charger plus a free gift for the inconvenience. I cannot praise the customer service team enough for their help.
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY IN ANYWAYS !!

This company is a scam organization, they don’t take care of their customers what they do is sell you shit product then deny any responsibility, change ownership to avoid legal liability, but operate with the same groups of people, after they shutdown the business and reopen, my $5500 worth of the scooter is now missing, with no contact information, before they shutdown, they told me my scooter is sent back to the INMOTION headquarters in Brisbane for inspection, after that there’s no further information, again please avoid to buy anything from them, there’s no guarantee whatsoever!

Because they refuse to give me a refund on a major failure scooter and finally waited a month to fix the problem. This morning I picked up the “fixed scooter “ and only ride 20km and the poorly design controller has fail again, losing power while riding on the road again, and nearly got rear ended again. What a joke company that treating customers like shit, delivered poor service, poor product, refused to own the fault and take the poorly designed product back. And here we are again, will keep updating until I get the refund, still waiting vcat to get back to me. And again don’t buy anything from them if you don’t want to go through the same problem as mine!

The scooter hut refused to refund on a faulty product, based on the information on consumer affairs Victoria if the product had major failure consumer has the right to get a refund, which in my case losing power while riding will be considered as major failure. I’m bringing my case to consumer affairs Victoria hopefully I can get my money back, those who thinking to buy one of the scooter from them need to think twice before buying anything.
Shopping experience was perfect, lied to my face straight away that will give me 20% off on the helmet and the bag, if there’s no discount just say it I’ll buy them anyway but not like this. At the store the staff told me they had every part for the RS, but unfortunately it’s not, went to the store second time for the thumb throttle, the staff basically lie again will help me ask INMOTION but not. Few days later the fault code 217 constantly
6/3/2025 update!
Dropped the scooter for them to fix the fault code 217 at 20/1/2025, pick up the scooter at 6/3/2025 only ride 20 km and the controller fail again, what a joke now is showing 117 the front controller failed again and losing power while riding on the road.

I’ve now wasted my time with Scooter…
I’ve now wasted my time with Scooter Hut twice trying to get parts for my Kaabo scooter, and both experiences were equally frustrating.
Both times they were very keen at the start, acting like they were going to help and sort it out. Then nothing happened. No updates, no follow-up, and I had to keep chasing them myself just to get any kind of response.
After waiting and chasing for ages, I was eventually given vague answers that went nowhere, and in the end I still didn’t get the part I needed. The worst part is they never simply said they couldn’t get the part. If they had just told me that from the start, I would have appreciated the honesty and moved on.
Instead, I was left waiting and following it up repeatedly for absolutely nothing.
Good customer service isn’t complicated. If you can’t supply a part, just say so. Don’t keep customers hanging around chasing answers that never come.
Based on my experience, trying to get Kaabo parts through Scooter Hut has been a complete waste of time.
