I think it covers several skills not just science.
I like the different modules within each topic. The interactive portion helps my daughter to really get the concepts it's not just watching a video.

Great Product for Learning
This is a great product. My daughter is 7 and loves it! She will work on activities in the program for as long as I will let her stay on the computer! She really is learning, and can explain what she learns. I homeschool and we have been using this as our science program for this semester. I haven't used the teacher resources much, but I do know you can assign tasks you want the child to complete wich is an awesome feature. There are many how-to videos for the teacher/parent about the resources they provide, and how to use the teacher side of the site. There is also offline supplements provided, but I haven't used them. We have been really busy this semester and I needed a self-taught science and this has been perfect. There has been a time or two where an activity failed to give her a star for completion or there was a problem and she couldn't complete the activity. These have been very few, only maybe twice. I contacted customer service and never received a response about it, that is the reason I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5. She is over halfway through all the lessons, and I wish there was more for her as she gets older!

Science4us is a wonderful science program for homeschooling families!
As a homeschool parent of a first grader and preschooler, it has been hard to find good science curriculum. I was so happy to find science4us! I love that it's on the iPad and the kiddos can do the majority of it on their own. I also love the offline activities and evaluations that are incorporated into the program. It sure makes life for this homeschool mama easier! Two thumbs up!

Student Friendly Science
Science4us is a great interactive resource in our K-2 classes. It is teacher and student friendly. Science4us program is especially helpful to ELL students because it is visual and can be readily drawn upon when needed.

Good content but very glitchy
I would like to start by saying I find the website deceptive. When I was looking around for a science curriculum for my kindergartener, Science4Us caught my eye because it broke down what the curriculum is for the kindergartener, the first grader, and second grader. However, after subscribing and checking out the site, I couldn't find the kindergarten activities. The only thing geared toward grade-level students was the offline content -- not the actual activity/lesson. After sending feedback through the site regarding this issue, I received the following response: "Our curriculum is a banded kindergarten to second grade content. The material will not be broken into grade levels rather the student may work on any of the material as it will cover those grade levels." Nowhere on their site did I find that the curriculum would be banded. Because it's banded, I find that some activities are beyond my ds5 level of understanding.
Regarding the content on the site, it's good but the execution is poor. Each activity is SLOW to load, if it loads, and most of the time the activity stops mid-way through which frustrates my ds. The offline content is decent but it is usually geared toward groups and I have a lone homeschooler. Still does the job.
Overall, I keep my subscription because it's cheap and provides good info...on the days it works.

Excellent home schooling tool
We home schooled our 7y/o daughter for one year, while traveling in Central America. This program was one of her most favorite activities. every day, she could not wait to access her own computer science lab. This program is very interactive, very informative, covers incredible amnt of information; children can choose the subject of their study on their own and can move between different grades. It was great fun not only for my daughter but also for me. My daughter has learned so much from this program!!!! She's back in 2nd grade now, in traditional school, and has already shown an immense knowledge base that she had received from using this program. Thank you!!!!
