Extensive Technical Issues, Significant Downtime, No Refund Support
We implemented Scalefusion across our fleet of Samsung S8 tablets after initial testing, troubleshooting, and support appeared promising.
Unfortunately, once we moved from the free trial into paid live deployment, the platform became highly unstable and operationally disruptive.
Over the course of more than a month, we experienced repeated device crashes, lock/unlock failures, screen lag, split-screen functionality issues, foreign characters appearing during typing, remote support instability, and inconsistent behavior across identical factory-standard devices.
We documented these problems extensively and provided over a dozen video recordings to ScaleFusion support in an effort to resolve these.
While the support team initially engaged, resolution efforts became repetitive and fragmented. We were frequently asked to repeat information that had already been supplied, and issues persisted despite multiple calls and remote sessions. Importnat note; there were NO remote sessions offered once payment for the licence had been made - just screenshots and recordings.
As described, once payment had been processed, the quality and continuity of support noticeably declined.
Operationally, the instability significantly impacted our team’s ability to perform their roles.
Productivity suffered, frustration increased, and confidence in the platform eroded.
We began to wonder if the software was operating as malware due to the variations in issues noted at different times of the day from one device to the next. All devices had the same version of the ScaleFusion software installed, and all went through the same factory reset process to get the MDM on.
After exhausting troubleshooting avenues and investing considerable time and internal resources, we made the decision to remove Scalefusion entirely and factory reset all devices.
Our decision was to move swiftly with the rollback as we no longer trusted the software, and we had disgurntled employees to deal with as a result of the performance of the software.
We requested a refund given the documented failure of the software to perform reliably in a standard Samsung environment. This was declined based on policy.
Our devices were factory-standard Samsung hardware (S8), and the product is marketed as compatible with such devices. In our experience, however, the software did not deliver consistent or dependable performance.
We cannot recommend Scalefusion based on our experience.
