After 7 days 10 emails and me opening 3…

After 7 days 10 emails and me opening 3 tickets customer service finally gave me a refund. They used a ghost shipping company called mail innovations that lost my package and said it was falsely delivered. When I asked them to give me a real shipping number with UPS they told me no they only use mail innovations to NY so I asked for a refund. Terrible that they said that because now I cant order on the website ever and the items are expensive so why use a cheap shipping service.

Hasn't shipped after almost 2 weeks

Placed an order on December 4th for Christmas gifts. It is now the 17th and not only has it not shipped, customer care can't tell me when it will ship. By this point it is almost certain to be late for Christmas.

Stay away from them

don't buy from their website. received a defective backpack. The merchant offers 15%discount to keep it or return it. Who wants to get a disount on a defective product. When asking whether I will have to pay the shipping again topurchase the same backpack again, the merchant went silent. Emailed back twice and noresponse. Very disappointing customer service. Also, their google review is all fake and seems like they delete negative reviews and there is no way to review them via the google review function. Stay away from them

Don't pay extra for shipping at checkout.

Like all websites during checkout, it tells you when to expect shipping with pricing. So I choose the 3 day one and paid extra for it. It didn't ship out until 3 days later with an expectation of 10 days. I emailed customer service requesting my expedited charge be refunded and charge me standard fee since it's now standard rate. They replied pretty much I'm shit out of luck and it is what is "respectfully". Then I Iooked on Google reviews and it's gets more suspicious. On Trustpilot and Yelp their rating is about 2.0 -3.6. Not the 5.0 on the Sanrio site. Tried to leave a review with them. You can't do it, it's all AI generated! So their reviews are fake. It sucks I haven't even received the item yet and now I don't want it.

They deserve 0 stars

They deserve 0 stars. They wouldn’t do anything about my lost package which never got delivered. Tracking even says lost & for vendor to do something about it. Had to dispute the charge, because they also lied about working on the issue. Filed dispute after giving them a full MONTH!

Awful customer service

I placed an order after 12 midlnight on Black Friday. The sanrio site made sale for items and they didn't give me 20% off for my purchase because they didn't update the site. When I asked them to add 20% off to my order but they didn't Iand I know they could. Instead of it they made quickly a shipping label and confirmed that they can't change anything.
How I know the office of the site didn't work November 28 and 29 because they had Thanksgiving Day for 2 days how they told me.
Nobody worked November 29 night and day to ship a parcel. What can I say? The customer service works badly, deceives people, does not update their site timely when there is a discount, and lies to customers, they are very unresponsible.
Everyone know that Customer service of Sanrio is not friendly and does not help you if you ask them. The international rich company takes your holiday discount about $5 in their pocket! It is ridiculous...
Customer support is not up to par.
Namely, support reps do not understand and care about their customers’ needs and frustrations.
Worst SANRIO customer service and company. Never buying from them again anymore!!!!!!

Terrible customer service

Although the website is the official Sanrio site, their customer service is truly insulting. Ordered very expensive glass cups. They broke in transit due to poor packaging. Sanrio refused to give my money back, only offering store credit. I will NEVER order from them again.

Stay away

Stay away! I purchased two gold and diamond rings from the Hello Kitty line, both oh them broke within 3 and 6 months respectively. Sent the rings back but Sanrio is refusing to refund my $1300.00 and only want to issue a store credit . I did not spend $1300.00 to wear a ring for 3 months!!! And I am not spending a penny more at their website, especially $1300.00 worth

Amazing site

Amazing site. Despite other reviews, I've never had to wait more than a day or so for my orders to ship, unless it's around Christmas, when orders can get backlogged due to volume. Products are always high quality, and since you're buying from the company itself, everything is of course, licensed. Stuff has gotten a little more expensive in recent years, but I blame inflation. I've probably spent over $10,000 on this site since 2018, and never once have had an issue.

Unacceptable Shipping Delays

My teenage son placed an order for three items on December 22nd. All were in stock. It is now January 16th, and none of the items have been shipped yet. If they were out-of-stock items or backordered items I would understand. But this is unacceptable for items that were in stock when ordered. And we have no way of knowing when, or if, they will ever be shipped.

Ordered multiple items for my partner's…

Ordered multiple items for my partner's birthday. Their return policy said that 'most items' could be returned within 30 days. Unfortunately, my item took nearly that long to arrive, and by the time it was given 30 days had elapsed. Even if I could return though, after the shipping and the additional customs fees (which they don't pay for you) it would probably be cheaper just to sell it. Way too expensive and bad return policy, won't be shopping there again.

Awful Customer Service

I ordered over $50 to be eligible for the free gift promotion, because why not? I'm holiday shopping and an extra gift would be nice! I receive the package and there's no extra gift! I contact them and they say that I did not tick a box (what? Never saw a box and why would anyone not want something for free???? Why do you think I spent that amount of money?), and the product is out of stock, can't be added retroactively and go cry in the corner. They are a rich, international company and they seriously can't be bothered to make amends for something that probably cost them $5? How cheap is that? They already have my money. Worst customer service. Never buying from them again.

NOPE

100% do NOT recommend ordering from this website unless you do not mind waiting for months for your order.

Sanrio's website stated that due to physical inventory, orders placed after 12/23/19 would not ship until after 1/6/20. I placed an order from Sanrio.com on 1/9/20 with a notification stating that my order will ship within 7 to 10 days.

After 2 weeks of no shipping notice and reading many negative reviews regarding Sanrio's shipping over the holiday period, I wanted to make contact with customer service regarding my order. I received a reply on 1/23/20 stating "Our warehouse stopped shipments as they were conducting physical inventory. They have advised us that they are almost done and will resume shipments by the end of next week." They stated that it may be another 3-4 weeks until my order would ship.

This was frustrating, since they did not update their website to inform customers that, actually, inventory would not be sorted by 1/6/20, and delays would continue beyond that. However, my order shipped 7 days later, on 1/30/20 and I had it the next day (I live very close to the warehouse). I figured that their issues had been worked out by this time, since they sent it well before the additional 3-4 week estimate and decided to place another order on 2/1/20.

On 2/26/20, I emailed to inquire about my new order's status. Customer service responded stating "Our warehouse stopped shipments as they were conducting physical inventory. They have advised us that they are almost done and will resume shipments by the end of next week," and that it may be another 2-3 before my order ships.

What? Again? When I questioned the frequency of "physical inventory" that causes such constant delays in orders, I was informed on 3/9/20 that they were in the midst of sending out orders from OCTOBER.

It's incredible to me that a website would be so backed up, for whatever reason, that they'd still be sending orders from 5 months prior and yet no honest communication with their customers. It's also interesting that my January order was sent out before all of these other orders from October-December, and I know that some people who ordered in February and March received their orders during this time, too. So, this whole "we send orders out as they are received" is an absolute lie.

On 4/2/20, 5 weeks after their email stating that my order would ship within the additional 2-3 weeks, I emailed them again (the website stated that their warehouse was still up & running during the California Safer-at-Home orders due to COVID-19). Can you guess what the response was? Of course, it was the EXACT same runaround and they were STILL sending orders from October.

I eventually received part of my order on 6/2 (4 months later). Doubt the rest of it will ever turn up. The positive is that it seems they never charged me for these items at all (or PayPal simply canceled/rejected the never-ending pending charge, I'm not sure). Anyway, there are plenty of other online retailers that sell Sanrio items & they actually send them out in a respectable amount of time, so Sanrio.com is a big no for me.

Will not buy from it anymore!!!!!!

In the past, I used to buy from Sanrio.com but not anymore. I placed an order at the end of November 2019 and 4 missing items were not shipped as of the end of January 2020. Sent numerous emails to Customer Care to follow up and it kept replying by saying the missing items would be shipped within 3 to 5 business days. Totally disappointed and will not buy from it anymore!!!!!!
