Prompt service and delivery

Regarding your observations, Dryrods are primarily designed for installation into standard mortar courses found in the majority of modern construction. While we develop our systems to address these common building techniques, we recognise that unique architectural features and older masonry can sometimes present challenges.
In instances where mortar joints are narrow, Dryrods remain a highly effective solution. They can be installed directly into the brick or blockwork to create a robust chemical DPC. In these cases, we recommend drilling into the mortar joint as usual but allowing the drill bit to penetrate the masonry on either side. To ensure complete saturation and a continuous barrier, we advise reducing the spacing between the rods to 100mm centres, rather than the standard 120mm.
We always encourage our customers to contact our technical team directly prior to application if they have specific questions regarding unique building designs. We would be more than happy to provide tailored advice for your project.

Arrived on time, clear instructions.
Effectiveness of product will not be proved for some time. Only negative relates to my specific application as mortar bed was narrow and drilling proved more difficult.

Big step forward for retrospective dpc’s
Safeguard have managed to make a retrospectively installed dpc, which was very messy and imprecise (think pump, hoses, metal tubes and a barrel of fluid) into a slick and totally controlled professional application. Drill the holes, insert the rods, render and plaster to finish. It really is that easy. The rods arrive in packs of ten, so it’s easy to order only what you need.
