It has to be said that Saal photobooks are expensive, but they are a quality product and easy to put together. And I was amazed how quickly my order was delivered.

It's easy to create your photo book. The quality is incredible, the brushed metal cover is beautiful.

Liked the reminder when placing photos to make sure they went over the edge to avoid colour bleed. Was frustrating only being able to trim photos from the right edge and not the left, but eventually realised could leave unwanted area on the left outside the frame. Disappointed with the offer of £25 off if spent over £60 - it was not made clear that it would only be £11 due to all the photobooks being advertised as having been reduced by £14. Delighted with the quality of the photobook many thanks.

Amazing service! The photo books are such great quality and the templates for InDesign are welcomed. Just make sure to check the alignment upon import, as you’ll need to export as a PDF and importing into Saal’s photo book software can result in importation inconsistency’s. I have a few photos in my book that didn’t import correctly and unfortunately I didn’t notice until I received the book. But that aside, great price, fantastic quality and fast…very fast turn around.

Good price point and on time delivery

I like the quality however some of the images appeared dark/ shadowed in the print which was not apparent at upload. Images looked good on all other apps and were edited in Light room. Pretty disappointed and have junked the two books I had printed. Have re-edited and am having another print. Hopefully will be resolved…. Second print done… Some photos used to compile the book when printed seemed darkened to a point that they were not representative of the edits. On reviewing the images and brightening them using the on-line tool provided in the edit section the subsequent print was more pleasing however there were still images with a mild darkening. These images were shot in the same light as the images along side them which were not affected. As previously stated this was not apparent in other edit or photo programmes. It makes an expensive way to ‘trail’ whether the look is right. I am happy with the printing and quality but it makes it difficult to have confidence in the process if the results are uncertain.

I got a voucher in exchange for feedback, but it didn't work out very well...
the actual book was really well made, very happy with the structure, I got a red leatherette cover and it's gorgeous. HOWEVER, some of my photos were REALLY pixelated (like really bad). I know it wasn't on my end because they all came up as 'good quality' on their website. I was told it was MY issue and not theirs which is ridiculous as I knew all of my photos were of great quality and provided evidence of this. They offered another voucher but honestly don't trust that I won't get another blurry photo book. Had to get a refund. The customer service guy was very quick to reply though which I guess is a plus!

Processed quickly, beautiful results

Not great but if you are going to print a bundle it has been the one low budget print company with the most colour accuracy so far. Delivery fee is expensive.

As a professional wedding photographer I require the best possible product that I'm happy to offer my clients. Saal offer an easy to use product that make it simple to create albums. The pages feel quality paper, thick lush colors that jump of the pages. Professional line albums and a super fast service from DPD.

The print quality is very good. The issues with regard to the parameters of the bleed lines is understood, however I would have expected the printing to be calibrated with the setting out of the pages on screen. Where I had photos taking up a complete page ending precisely on the centre line, the resulting book had the photos over by 2-3mm. The pages are unbalanced vertically also compared to the screen setting out. I have complained to receive an answer that minor production tolerances cannot be ruled out. I have received a voucher for the same amount to reprint the brochure but I suspect the same thing will happen again. The cost of the books do add up with multiple pages which is understood but I expected the final book to be accurate based on the setting out.

We really love the photo book we made of our wedding photos, it is excellent quality. It was easy enough to put together using Saal's software although we encountered an issue with saving at one point, resulting in hours of work lost. Customer service were as helpful as they could be - my advice would just be remember to save save save as you go!

I was so impressed with how easy the app was to navigate. Usually I’m spending ages adjusting sizes and fitting pictures on a page but it did it all automatically for me. The quality of everything was amazing. I would definitely order again. I needed to contact customer service and they were really responsive and sorted my query so quickly! Highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised when the photo book was delivered. I have ordered from other suppliers and the size and quality has been disappointing. Not issues here. Professional looking very high quality materials and printing meant our memories are there for all eternity.

I've been a customer of Saal Digital for many years and am consistenty impressed by their products. Via their service, I've created photobooks of travels that my wife and I have gone on, gifts for family, as well as professional level portfolio pieces. Every one of them has been created with utmost quality and care.

Most recently, I ordered a Pro Line photobook, collecting a series of nature and travel photography. The prints came out crisp, clear and popping with colour, contrast and detail. Paper quality was top notch, especially with the silk-finish. The book, itself, lays flat, which compliments my photos, especially those that cross the spine.

Shipping is fast, easy, and high quality. I'm never worried about the condition of my books. As an extra bonus, packaging is quite minimal and easy-to-recycle.
