Just bought my first home and it was through Ryder & Dutton, everything got done a lot quicker than I expected, I was told a minimum of three months but I’ve been handed the keys in just over two months. Big thanks to Ella who took care of everything for me. If I had any problems or enquiries she was always quick and happy to help. Very happy with the whole experience.

Amazing service from Holly - we are based in New Zealand and selling in Halifax so her prompt replies to all our queries and keeping us up to date with developments was especially appreciated. We had quite a long and stressful process for the sale of our home, but Ella and her team were fantastic from start to finish with a particularly anxious and stressed home owner! Potential buyers are a horrible experience on the whole, but Ryder and Dutton really do try their best to get you the right buyer. Special mention to Ezhra, if you opt for assisted viewings. This lady is brilliant at her job. Could do with a medal.

Cant fault anything with the Halifax branch and can only give 5 stars. The staff have been extremely helpful continually keeping us updated and nothing was ever too much trouble. Not a great experience. Falsified feedback from a viewing that did not happen: I was asked to show viewer around as R&D not available. However, viewer did not show up. R&D provided me with feedback for a visit which clearly did not take place.
At another viewing, R&D arranged accompanied viewing. The agent had not been to my property before, was not familiar with the property and went to the wrong property at the appointment time. Luckily, I was still in the local area and was able to return to the house to show the viewers around. After several frantic phone calls, R&D eventually showed up just as the viewers were leaving.These viewers went on to purchase the property. Had I not been nearby to show them around, I could have potentially lost the sale.
On the whole, a very stressful process.
