Scam Company
Scammed Shipping and was rude when questioned! Took $700 from us.

Customer ordered a rooftop AC on 2/13/26. On 2/16 I was informed by the freight company that "customer has requested to hold onto this order until 2/23. However, there is a storage fee of $122 per day. This will be a total of $976. Do you approve these fees or would you like the order returned".
My response to the freight company was "Do I have a choice that doesn't cost? If not, then yes, I accept the lesser charge. ".
Understandably the customer was very upset that they were not refunded shipping costs and were charged the return fees that are outlined in our sites terms and must be agreed upon when completing checkout.
There was no scam involved. As the retailer, we took the order, we promptly shipped the order, there were no notes left on the order to delay the shipment or anything, there was no original contact from the customer requesting more information about how long deliveries take, etc. Due to being a smaller company, we're unfortunately not able to eat the costs when such choices are made by the customer. The following email was the last one sent to the customer and it included a screenshot from a customer that emailed the night before praising the fact that we were so quick to ship:
"The majority of our customers are like the ones in the attached screenshot from an email received last night. For every customer with a perspective like yours, there are at least 50 customers with the exact opposite perspective.
Everyone I know personally would not order something if they're out of town in the window of a delivery and will not be able to take receipt. I'm sorry that these didn't play a factor for your circumstance but as most would agree it's not our responsibility to eat the costs associated with negligence on the receiving/ordering side of things. Most would agree that we fulfilled our responsibilities as a retailer and have no control over certain factors such as customer assumptions without seeking clarity.
