Dont fall for their expedited shipping since it is a way to extract more money from you. The take two weeks to “ make” the rug and then put you on the top of the list to send. It says two day shipping.
Could have purchased similar rugs on Amazon for half the price and free shipping. Infuriating. Never shopping from them again.

I spent $2600 on a few rugs. The issue with the lack of customer service after purchasing. A ticket is created, a generic response is sent and their response time is at 72 hours now without a human reaching out. With high AOV purchases in particular this is really unacceptable. Ruggable - you need to review your customer service SOP's.

Buying from Ruggable is what I can only imagine is like making a deal with the devil. I sold my soul for the convenience of machine wash ability only to suffer the unforeseen consequences of wrestling with the Velcro pad and the rug. A quick vacuum? Out of the question. You’ve now snagged every corner and pulled it away from the pad resulting in misaligned edges. The wrinkle that formed from the last time you pulled up an edge? You’re now tripping over it and creating even more of a wrinkle that inevitably forces the edges of the rug and pad even further apart. If you’ve finally reached a mental state that’s willing to peel the evil things apart and actually wash the rug…. Your only reward is to then cuss up a storm and sweat through your bra to line up the edges and smooth out the wrinkles. If any one is wondering how my night is going just read the last part. Worst overpriced rug purchase of adulthood so far.

Don’t recommend it. They only give you one chance to exchange it .

When we moved 4 years ago, we bought a runner for the kitchen. It's been spilled on more times than I can count, and it's been thrown in the washer probably twice that many times. We couldn't be happier with a rug that is positioned in a heavy traffic area. It's all I'd ever put there! Nothing has frayed, worn or torn. The price is extremely reasonable.

I really wanted to love Ruggable, and overall I think the rugs themselves are great and perfect for a home with four large dogs. Over the past three months, I’ve purchased more than $3,000 worth of Ruggable rugs, so this review comes from a loyal customer who genuinely wanted to continue buying from the company.

My disappointment is with Ruggable’s exchange policy.

I recently purchased eight rugs and needed to exchange five because they didn’t look right in my space. The day after receiving them, I immediately initiated an online exchange. I chose the exchange option because returning the rugs would have resulted in a refund that was less than what I originally paid due to return deductions. At the time of my exchange, the replacement rugs were included in Ruggable’s 30% off promotion. I assumed the current sale price would apply, but instead I was charged full retail because exchanges are not eligible for promotional pricing.

What made this especially frustrating was learning afterward that I could have canceled the exchange, returned the rugs, and placed a brand-new order using the 30% discount. By the time I was given that option, I had already packed and shipped all five rugs back together in one box.

The policy effectively penalizes customers regardless of which option they choose. If you return your rugs, your refund may be reduced by return deductions. If you exchange them, you lose access to the current sale price. Customer service explained that my original discount had been “honored” through an exchange credit, but that credit was simply the amount I had already paid—it wasn’t an additional discount or benefit.

For me, this isn’t really about the money. It’s about fair pricing, transparency, and a policy that feels misleading. The customer service representatives were polite and professional, and my frustration is with the policy—not the people. I hope Ruggable reconsiders this policy because it discourages exchanges, encourages unnecessary returns, and creates a disappointing experience for otherwise loyal customers.

Haven't even received our rug yet and I'm unhappy! We ordered it 2 weeks ago and it hasn't even been shipped yet! What the heck?

The rug I received looked nothing like the one advertised. The product photos depict a rug that is primarily sage with uniformly muted tones. In fact, the product is explicitly described as "sage." The rug I received, however, was predominantly bright green with harsh, garish colors that bore little resemblance to the listing. This was far beyond a "slight variation in color."
Given the significant discrepancy between the advertised product and what I received, I contacted the company and requested that the return shipping fee be waived. They refused.
I would also note that the rugs without a separate pad are quite heavy and bulky, making them impractical to wash despite the company's marketing. In addition, the rug I received looked inexpensive and of low quality.

The rug looks NOTHING like the photo online. The quality is very thin and scratchy. Colors are totally off. It took about 2 weeks to receive and I have to pay a fee of $25 USD to return despite it not being an accurate photo and lousy quality

First, the request by the company for a review was deceptive. It says please answer to questions. First, what did you like. Ok, done. Second - no question just thanks for that. So they trick you into only giving positive review.

I like my rug ok but the colors on the website are not remotely accurate on my apple devices - perhaps they are using enhanced lighting. The rug was much more muted than on the website, which doesn’t really go with my stuff but I have pets so “oh well”. Definitely spring for a swatch if you are design focused.

Also the description is misleading. It says the rug is machine washable. However if you get the larger 2 sizes, there is no link but if you scroll around you will find it suggested that you don’t use your own machine but go to commercial laundromat - so they must have plenty of complaints about the machine breaking. Also when you get the rug there is an insert saying the rug must be fully dried before putting it back down (good luck with that). Also there is no warning but I assume you have to be careful when spot cleaning. My guess is that the rug will glue itself to your floor, which potentially can damage floor and rug.

I bought three rugs. They are incredibly hard to lay out. The smaller one isn’t as hard but still a 45minute process just to get it to lay flat every time. None wash well in the washer so they look ever dirty. I’ve only washed the 2 large ones once and both of there edges are fraying. It was a big investment and such a disappointment. The underpad attracts dog hair like a magnet so looks gross in addition to the rugs being filthy still.

Ruggable is not allowing me to write a review directly on their site. I am not sure why, so here it goes. The new rug pad system is like a blanket on the floor. A rug pad is needed. For the amount of money spent, just under $1K, a rug pad should be included. Highly disappointed.

It was easy to order on Ruggable. The initial rugs we ordered did not match our home, and the runner was not the exact color as the door mat as it was pictured. Returning those rugs was easy. We ordered a new runner and doormat and we absolutely love them! Both pieces match and add a bit of style, whimsy and elevation to our entry way.

I DON’T UNDERSTAND TRUST PILOT’S MATH. I PANICKED WHEN I SAW OVERALL RATING OF 2.7. BUT IF YOU PUT IN THE 67 5 STAR REVIEWS THE AVERAGE IS 4, NOT 2.7. NOT SURE WHERE ELSE I CAN REPORT THIS?

From them. 3 runners, 4 larger rugs. I have had them all for a while except one recent purchase for our daughter’s room. I thought they were good (quality is ok but they are thin but makes sense for washing). But the underneath black Velcro material is disintegrating and you can no longer pull it apart as it leaves Velcro balls on the rug and all

Total order was just over $4000. That was supposed to include shipping. Well fedex gets these things and decides they are "too big" to be delivered (I kid you not), so says "you drive 4 hours and get them". I refused, so they said "okay we'll ship them back". I try to contact ruggables, and this is where this becomes a ruggables issue, not just a fedex issue. First, you do NOT get a phone number for anyone human. You can either a) leave a ticket b) email them c) talk to the chatbot. So I do all 3. Chatbot tells me it is going to escalate (but I don't hear back), No response to my ticket submission...order now shows 3 of the 5 rugs as "cancelled". I DO hear back from the email, they tell me they will send replacements, but this is already a month into this expensive nonsense. So no delivery, no help from chatbot, no help from submitting a ticket, and just a vague promise that they will "send again" which doesn't address the issue with fedex. Just horrific customer service all around. Add to that...the 2 rugs that we DID manage to get are REAL thin, not like a rug, it's like a mat. Really regret not going for the amazon one for 1/8th the price.

Ruggable changed their rug type, i've bought many, used to love them. Now when you wash it at home it leaves crease marks. I've since re-washed it at a Laundromat with higher capacity and they are still there. Defeats the purpose of a washable rug if it comes out completely creased.

Cheap rugs, way over priced for the quality and for what you get. Would definitely not recommend them. They are about triple the cost for what they are worth. Cheap, fade easily and don’t last. Crappy company and very poor customer service!!! DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!!

The rug was a very poor quality for the price, the corners were not square and looked very funky and cheap and the edges were unraveling. The bottom "grip" didn't work at all and it slid around on the floor. I was able to return it, but had to pay a $10 fee.

I had bought some rugs previously and was happy, so much so that I had recommended the company to several people.
I noticed that they had started to sell throw pillows designed by Jonathan Adler and decided to buy some. Reading the description of a large pillow I noted that it included the insert, I added it to my cart and then scrolled through the site adding 4 additional pillows, all by the same designer, all at a similar price point.
When the order arrived, only 1 of the pillows included an insert???
I contacted the company and was told that indeed only 1 pillow included an insert. I expressed my unhappiness (it felt deceptive, kind of a bait and switch) and asked them to send me inserts, even offering to pay for the shipping. After talking to 2 different people it was like talking to a brick wall or an AI robot - zero customer service, just script readers. No inserts would be sent and my only choice was to send the items back.
I have spend $1000's with ruggable but no exceptions to the script.
This experience has definitely lowered my opinion of this company, I will never recommend them again.
