We would like to say a huge thank you to Rocky for bringing his wonderful animals to visit our care home.
He took the time to introduce them to our residents, sharing interesting facts and making sure everyone had the opportunity to interact with them at their own pace.
We would highly recommend him to any care home, school, or community group looking for a unique and heartwarming experience.

Great Birthday Party!
​We hired Rocky’s Animals for my daughter’s birthday party, and it was hands-down the best decision. Rocky was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly fun, highly informative, and had an amazing way with the kids. He kept a group of energetic children completely engaged, entertained, and learning the entire time.
​Every single kid had a fantastic time, especially the birthday girl!
If you are looking for an unforgettable, educational, and fun experience for a party, I cannot recommend Rocky’s Animals enough. Thank you, Rocky!

We had such a lovely experience with Rocky and his animals. It is obvious how much he cares about every single one of them, and their welfare clearly comes first.

After reading the previous review, I was genuinely shocked. If a child was throwing things at the animals, the first question should be: where was the parent? It is a parent’s responsibility to supervise their child, especially around animals.

From what I witnessed, Rocky is patient, kind, and fantastic with children, including those with additional needs. I simply do not believe he would deliberately shout at a child as has been claimed. My experience was the complete opposite.

Don’t let one negative review put you off. We were treated with kindness and respect, the animals were clearly well cared for, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Just to let everyone know, if you are planning on taking your children to Rocky's Animals or booking Rocky's Animals for a party—especially if you have a child with additional needs like autism—I wouldn’t recommend them.My son had his graduation today, and they brought their animals along from Rocky’s Animals. I’m not sure of the man’s name, but he was very rude! The teachers let him know early on that my son has autism and throws things, so he was fully aware. I prepare my son as much as I can, but he doesn’t always listen when he gets the urge to throw.During the session, my son threw a bucket at one of the hens. The man then shouted angrily at my child, saying, "Right, whose child is this? He has to leave right now!" He was well aware of my son's needs and still reacted this way, even though there are much better ways to speak to a child.Shortly after, he changed his approach and tried to get my son to feed the hens, which he probably should have done in the first place. By that point, the damage was done and we just wanted to go. Overall, my son had a great graduation day until that happened! ☺️.

Hi,Thank you for your reply.I want to clarify that I completely understand and respect your need to protect your animals. Animal welfare is incredibly important. However, your account of how the situation was handled is inaccurate, and the manner in which your handler conducted himself was entirely unacceptable.First, my son did not "repeatedly" throw things without intervention. The teachers had already proactively informed your handler of my son’s autism and his tendency to throw objects when overstimulated. I was right there with him, actively supervising and managing his behavior.Second, if an animal is in immediate danger, a professional handler redirects the child calmly or speaks directly to the supervising adult. They do not aggressively shout at a neurodivergent child, demand "whose child is this?", and publicly isolate them. Your handler's reaction showed a complete lack of understanding of how to handle SEN children. Shouting at an autistic child does not stop a behavioral episode; it escalates anxiety and causes deep distress.While I am glad your business frequently works with SEN schools, your handler’s initial reaction on this day did not reflect that experience. There is a vast difference between protecting an animal and publicly humiliating a child, and I hope you will use this feedback to ensure your staff are better trained in calm, professional redirection in the future.Kind regards,Jayde

Rocky was brilliant with the kids and gauged how brave or scared they were feeling! My daughter aged 3 had an awesome experience and got to hold, pet and feed the cute and cuddly animals whilst her sister proudly held the snake around her neck. Everyone had a fabulous time. Thanks again!

Rocky was amazing! He went above and beyond and the whole party was amazing. He was funny, engaging and kept 14 5 year olds entertained and captivated the whole time!! Including their adults! Amazing range of animals and reptiles. My daughter had the best party. Everyone said about brilliant it was. Would recommend a 100 times over. Thank you again!!

We have booked Rocky's animals for the second year now and the children have such a wonderful time. They get to experince lots of different animals that they would never normally get to see. A massive thank you to Rich for making such wonderful memories.

We had Rich attend our party and it was absolutely brilliant! He was on time, incredibly friendly, entertaining, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our son was made to feel incredibly special and the centre of attention, and got to experience so many animals. Even after the party was finished, a few of us adults were allowed to hold the snake! The experience was 100/10! Carl was always on hand, very professional, answered absolutely any questions and would reply incredibly quickly which made us feel very reassured and relaxed. They get booked up quickly so if you have a desired date and time, book early!

Daughters 9th birthday with 10 friends and they all had an amazing time - really fun, interactive and engaging. Lots of fascinating animals, and Carl brought loads of great energy.

Excellent service. My son had it for his 7th birthday party. Rich was amazing, loads of reptiles and kept their attention the whole time. Highly recommend

We booked Rocky for our little one's birthday after seeing him at a petting zoo experience at a school and would highly recommend.

I drove to the supermarket a few hours prior and saw him parked up the road. Initially thought he had gotten the timings wrong, turns out he had done the journey to allow the animals time to recover from it, and then set up 1.5 hours prior to the party starting to give the animals time to acclimatise to the smells and unfamiliar environment. We did the mini mix package but Rocky kindly added a few more animals.

If having the ducks, sheep, goats, guinea pigs, etc (ie farm animals) be prepared for poo on the patio, plants to get eaten (our garden is wildly overgrown so was not a problem for us, and Rocky hoses down the patio at the end too - just highlighting)

He was really gentle and patient with the children and you can tell has worked with younger ones, giving them the option to hold, stroke or just say hello to animals/reptiles from a safe distance. The children learnt so much and had such a wonderful, memorable time. There was something for everyone, fluffy, cute animals and spiky, interesting reptiles, amphibians and insects.

Really exciting high impact experience. Rocky was very energetic and enthusiastic. He really got the children focused and interested in the creatures. Also was good at marshalling a large group of kids to ensure they were respectful and thoughtful about the creatures they were handling. Children were so enthralled by Rocky and his animal show.

Fantastic! Rocky was so full of energy and kept the kids really engaged. An amazing selection of beautiful animals! Would highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant!

My son and all of his friends had a super afternoon meeting all of the animals - the full VIP experience! He said it was his “best day EVER!” Thanks for the unforgettable memories!

Brilliant party - the children loved it and Rich was so enthusiastic

We really enjoyed having Rocky and the full VIP package at our family event this summer. Rocky was really engaging and fun, he did a brilliant show where he introduced the animals and talked about them and the children could pet them and hold them. We really enjoyed learning so much and being able to get hands on in a safe and really fun and friendly environment. Rocky is super organized, professional, passionate about animals and a great host. We would highly recommend these guys and have had them round every year for the last 3 years and look forward to many more! Thanks Rocky's Animals!

The most amazing party entertainment for our 5 year old who is animal mad. So interactive and entertaining for all the children and made our son’s birthday so special. Thank you so much!
