I bought fish food from Rocket Aquatics - I've used them before. It was easy to find and order what I wanted, and it was delivered quickly

Always quality products, reasonable prices and quick despatch

Very reasonable prices, simple ordering process, good communication, order arrived swiftly to Orkney, which is great cause some companies refuse to post to Orkney. Very satisfied, will definately use again.

My experience couldn't have been better. I ordered a small tank plus some accessories on Saturday afternoon, an email to confirm the order was received immediately. On Sunday I then got another email informing me that the tank would arrive on Tuesday - which it did. It was expertly wrapped and packed (my partner joked that you could have played football with it and it wouldn't have broken). A steal at a price of at least £10 below that of any other supplier.

I got the delivery and unboxed it, built and ready to go. This is a great product and really looks good in my dining room. After the 3 days acclimatisation the fish were placed in the tank and WOW.
I recommend this if you want a quality product, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for!

website says despatched 03/03/2012 now 07/03/2012 still havent got it, dunno when I am going to get it...meanwhile I have a tank without condensation tray...

Not good

As the title suggest, a measure of a company in my opinion is how they deal with any problems that occur. In this repect I have been very disappointed with Rocket Aquatics.
I bought a Juwel Rio 125 aquarium with matching stand. This arrived fairly promptly (although courier only called when they were outside my house and not the day before delivery as an email advised - probably not RA fault). Overall quality of the product is fantastic but I expected this as I owned one of these tanks previously.
Unfortunately the light unit did not work. Made several attemps to contact Rocket Aquatics by phone and email with no joy. Phone would just be answered by a message stating their opening times and to leave a message. Really quite annoying when this is played between their stated opening times! Finally got through and explained the issue. 'Lady' I spoke to offered no apology and was quite rude. I explained to her about the issue and had tried all the remedial work she had advised. Therefore she arranged for a replacement light unit to be sent. She advised that once it was received I should contact them so that they could arrange to collect the faulty unit.
Once this arrived it still didn't work. Contacted Juwel direct as suprise, suprise there was only the automated message from Rocket and was advisd that it sounded like a faulty bulb, however there was no way to be sure without another bulb as when 1 bulb fails neither will work.
Took the unit to a local aquarium shop (in hindsight I should have bought from here in the first place) and we were able to determine it was a faulty bulb.
Managed to get in contact with RA again to advise and arrange to have the unit shipped back and a new bulb sent out. I was then informed that I would have to pay to ship the item back!!
Advised that I was told that they would cover the cost but I was duly told that as the light unit was not faulty (and bear in mind that I had tried everything they suggested and that there was no way to tell if a bulb was faulty without a replacement) then I should bear the cost as they had to pay to ship the item and would have to pay to ship the replacement bulb.
After many emails to dispute this and a call to their very unhelpful staff I as basically told that they would not pay for the return.
Therefore I paid £11 to send the item back.
They sent the replacement bulb.
In my opinion the customer service is shocking and they may well of get out of paying £11 return carriage but they have lost me as a customer for life. A fish tank is just the start and I will always need accessories, fish food, replacement filter sponges etc but I will not be buying them from Rocket Aquatics.
So keep your fingers crossed that everything is ok with your order as you will be in for a bumpy ride if things go wrong.

We ordered a replacement tank which appeared online to be amazingly good value in comparison to many others we had viewed. It arrived as promised and was extremely easy to construct, all components were present and it was indeed fantastic value. It is now home to our very happy fish which are enjoying more space in which to swim and we are enjoying the attractive new tank. Would deffinately recommend this company and will certainly be buying from them again.

Bought what we thought was a good deal. The complete package. Tank, cabinet everything to set up and get the quarium underway. A present from my wife. Arrived when it should have done and very well packed. The front flap lid did not sit true protruding by about 2mm at one end. It was noticeable and it spoilt the look of the unit . Phoned this company several times in office hours but no reply and they did not return call. Took photographs and e-mailed them. They did phone us and admitted they knew of the fault and said it was not the same for all of them and they suggested we could return the tank and they would send us another one. They also said they would consider a bit of compensation.

I felt I had been duped as they knew of the fault and they could have and should have said something at the point of order but they didn't.We have decided to keep the tank. We emailed them informing them of this and of our feelings and asked them to consider compensation as the tank is not right.

We have phoned several times and left messages and emailed them more than once but no response.

I feel a very poor company to do business with and we shall not be doing any more.

I found your web site very easy to navigate and the prices you charge were very competitive. I also received my aquarium lightbulb sooner than expected. All in all a wonderfull service. Thank you very much.

Everything arrived ontime and as described.
Staff very helpful and friendly. i did have an issue whereby i had no confirmation from Rocket as to my order, but later found this mis placed in my junk mail folder.... ooops ....:-)

I ordered my tank and it arrived very quickly. Although I have not taken the tank out of the box I am sure everything is fine and would order again from rocketaquatics!

I ordered a Ferplast tank I was informed straight away that there was none in stock and they had ordered it. After a couple of days i emailed and asked for an update on the delivery. Within a couple of hours i had a email to get in phone. I phoned and was told threr was a problem with the supply of this tank, and was asked if i wanted a refund ,carry on waiting or chose a different tank. with the aid of the website his advise i setled on a Juwel rio tank. The difference was refunded and delivery was promised in three days, it arrived in two. What ever company you deal with i always find the courier is the week link and knowing this i have all deliverys sent to my work place I found the service was one of the best i have delt with on the internet and i will be using them again. i think it was abit unfair of the previous revew to take a point off for a problem caused by the couier as i know whatever courier is used they are all as bad as each over

Ordering, price and quality are beyond criticism. The process was easy and I would order with confidence in future.
I have deducted a point because the delivery was flawed. I was advised the delivery would be Friday so took day off - no delivery. Waited in Saturday - no delivery. Whilst at work Monday, delivery attempted BUT, even though my neighbour offered to take the delivery, it was not left because they did not have proof of my identity! I contacted Rocketaquatics who directed my enquiry to the courier company who in turn advised that the delivery would be on Tuesday (no time) and so I took the morning off hopefully to receive the item AND arranged with my neighbour AND left ID etc etc as instructed.
Yes, it was delivered on Tuesday (late morning - NO ID required so I could have been anyone yet my neighbour needed MY ID for delivery - something wrong there) but allowing that this is a 'specialised' delivery company I have to say that it was frustrating and a no where near as good as Royal Mail!
Therefore GREAT COMPANY and GREAT PRODUCT but i future (and yes I will order again) I will be asking for Royal Mail service.

Very good to buy from and quick postage will definitely use again.
