This was my first purchase at River Goddess. I had to return one dress, not its fault that my arms are too thick. I had such a lovely lovely correspondence with Chyra over a few days. I needed to get a dress for a sad occasion and Chyra was so kind and thoughtful.
She didn’t have to reply in the way that she did and honestly, she helped me so much. The pain of the sad occasion felt lessened, like I was a dear old friend. I truly appreciate her kindness.
The dresses are second to none, they are easy wearing, don’t take much to spruce up for a special occasion and are perfect for everyday wear.
I also received a quilted toiletry/make up bag which now houses my medications, lip balm
and bandaids. I’m the one that always has a bandaid. It is soft, very roomy and sturdy.
I definitely will be a returning customer. Thank you.

River Goddess dresses gave me the opportunity to buy a cotton midi dress with lantern sleeves that I can actually fits. The fabric design is really pretty and I'm very happy with my purchase. Plus I can wear a Boho dress in an Indian print without feeling like I'm wearing a pair of brightly coloured curtains.

I love to show off your beautiful dresses in town when I’m outing. Trying on different patterns and in different styles like you keep updating new products. How exciting! Keep up the great work ❤️

The dresses are beautiful quality and true to description. I had to return one and contacted them via email and their site and have had no response. The return was sent and received via tracking and still no response from the business. Really poor customer service and communication, which lets them down. .. update after 2 months I did get a store credit for my original item bought the store apologized for time taken and said they are updating their end of tech issues..hope they fix the issue. Really lovely dresses though

Love the dress. It is winter so I won't get to wear it for awhile but I have something to look forward to. I will have to shorten it since there are not petite sizes. Looking forward to summer!

Beautiful dress the fabric is gorgeous easy to wear light and cool and washes like a dream. Love the dresses I have 😊

Item as described. Very fast arrival. Would happily buy from River Goddess sometime in the future.

Absolutely beautiful dresses. I always receive compliments, and lots of designs have pockets 🥰

I purchased one then another and then 4 more. I like the maxi dresses as I am quite tall and they are soft and floaty and incredibly comfortable to wear. Nothing is see through like other similar brands and delivery was very quick. I actually wanted a couple more but unfortunately they were out of stock. I will be purchasing when more stock is available.

My experience with ordering Rivergoddess from NZ has been great. I ordered the first dress some time ago and have had compliments from friends some of whom are waiting for dresses in their size.
Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size for the last dress XS/S This was my mistake but I hope if I return it you would send one that fits me M/L
My order number is 10337 sincerely Lynn Hilton

I am very happy with my recent dress from River Goddess. Pattern was same as advertised in line, size was perfect - same as previous order, fabric is lovely, lightweight and soft. Easy to launder, machine wash and hang to dry = no ironing 🙌

My dress was true to size, fitted well and the fabric was soft and felt comfortable. I didn’t have to wait long for my order.

I ordered a dress that was in the correct size according to your size guide. Unfortunately the dress was too small and had to be returned. It cost $20 to send back from NZ.

Great first purchase, but poor service on the second. Dress didn’t match the photo, was see through, return dragged out for weeks, and promised refund became store credit. Disappointing experience.

1 Star Too Many
Absolutely Disgusting & Fraudulent
Do not bother with these crooks unless youre only interested in donating $$$$$ to them!!!
Ordered a dress via express post, it was delivered after a MONTH!!!!, off constant emails, either being ignored or given the excuse that they are busy and or its just been the weekend!!!
I immediately returned the dress, it wS delievred 3 weeks ago, and its rhe same s$&@, enails ignored or making excuses that they are busy & will look into it!!!
Therefore again, avoid these crooks, they are absolutely disgusting and im taking it futher!!!

Returns not refunded despite repeat requests over many weeks. Cost of tracked return over £20. AWFUL Company.

No stars would be more accurate since I never received the dress I ordered. I ordered a dress from them in july few weeks later I saw the dress was waiting to be picked up in Australia, I contacted RiverGoddess and they told me they would look into it (I live in Iceland) and promised to update me when they had more info, this was almost 5 weeks ago. I have tried to contact them twice since then urging them to deliver the dress or refund me, they haven't answered me. It's been 8 weeks since I ordered the dress, it is time to face facts, I am probably not going to receive the dress or the refund. RiverGoddess.co might be a scam!

Update: I finally got a refund one week after writing this review.

2nd purchase with this company. First was great. This one not so much. I did email them immediately upon receipt and did not receive a response. The dress I ordered arrived in the incorrect size and the colour looked nothing like the picture. Very disappointing.

5/30/25 I ordered a dress 20 days ago (order #8420). I paid extra for faster shipping (3-5 business days) and eagerly followed the package tracking. When I got home on the day of delivery, there was no package to be found. I talked with the mail carrier and visited the post office before emailing the company. After 3 days, I received no reply. I sent another message via the "Contact Us" page on the company's website and still have not received a reply. Beware of ordering from River Goddess. You may just be giving your money away. I will update this review if the matter is resolved.

6/3/25 - The River Goddess folks got back to me! They let me know that a signature is required for express parcels and that they will follow up with Australia Post to figure things out. I hope we can solve this!
