Expensive
I was desperate for money whenever I took out this loan. I borrowed $3000, I have paid back $4205 and still owe $2700. Once they have you there is no way for you to get above water again.
I would not recommend anyone take out a loan with rise, you might as well throw $200 down the toilet every other week for the same amount of satisfaction, maybe even more.

A Lifeline When I Needed It: My Positive Experience with RISEcredit
I am incredibly grateful to RISEcredit for approving me for a loan when no one else would. They truly gave me a chance when I needed it the most. Despite my less-than-stellar credit, they saw beyond that and offered me the support I needed.

Helpful, But Read All of Your Documents
I usually do not write full reviews, I just say thanks or something, that way others can form their own opinions. First of all, download and READ ALL DOCUMENTS. Rise came through when it was really needed. Used them several times from small amounts like $300 up to $5,000. Always paid them off early with no issues. However, this last time, the loan was supposed to go for about 2& 1/2 - 3 years, but it was paid much earlier, as usual. Received the normal email saying “congratulations, do your happy dance. You paid off your loan.” It was over $3,000. I checked the site a few days later, balance was $0. All of a sudden, 3 weeks later, I received an email that a payment is due within 5 days. It wasn’t in my budget, I called them, and the representative was not helpful. She kept changing up the reason why the “last payment” was there. There was no yelling or disrespect. During the call, she just transferred me to the survey without notice. I paid the last payment, of course through auto pay as I stated I would. Oddly, there was a small adjustment for the final $6. So, the balance says $0 AGAIN. I will not use them or any loan service again, that was my confirmation to just get a second and third job. Thanks, for when it was needed, but not ever again.
