I also fell for this false advertising, ordered a hardback book which didn’t arrive. Contacted the company who told me I’d ordered an e-book, which I knew I hadn’t.
Checking my bank statement, the payment went to ‘Salomino’ in ‘ Zielona Gora’ which I believe to be someone in Poland. I will be contacting my bank to help get my money back.
Feeling foolish as I usually check suppliers out before purchasing from a new provider 😡

Unfortunately, same experience for me. I purchased a hardcover, but upon going to check when my book would be delivered I’m met with the e-book. Came on here to see others have had the same experience. Emailed for an update but no response yet. Don’t buy anything from here

Wish I had looked here first before buying. Same as everyone else, purchased a hardback (from the drop down option) only to be told they do hardback and refused to refund.

Avoid at all costs. Have contacted Trading Standards

Same problem as others, unfortunately. Ordered what was described as a hardback book, only to receive an e-book. My request for a refund was declined - their email said "Unfortunately, as this is a digital product, we are unable to offer returns or refunds, as all sales are final."
I recommend avoiding this company at all cost!

Like others I ordered a hardcover edition of a book only to be hit with a digital download, I contacted straight away after reporting them to trading standards and on the gov.uk phishing site. They replied saying that they only sell digital books but would be happy to refund if I sent over my order number and date of order. I also included a screenshot of their website which clearly states that hardcover books are available and "in stock". I wish I had checked Trustpilot beforehand like I always do but for some reason I didn't this time.

Ordered a hardback book and received an ebook. I was not impressed as I had paid for what was advertised. Contacted my bank for a refund, and received it the next day. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering as I would have spent my money elsewhere.

If I could give a zero for Rilonson books I would. I thought I’d bought a book, but was told it was an ebook.. like everyone else .I bought a book Always Remember. Rilonson.uk. . Advertised free delivery and hard back. Ask if it was a first addition and first print, they knew I was wanting a book not an ebook but still went ahead with my order and refused a refund and then stopped answering my emails. Do not buy from Rilonson . Book Always Remember.

Update: I have now had notification from my bank that a refund is being processed from the vendor. After back and forth on email, they were complying with giving me my refund after I pointed out that they were advertising hardcover books on their websites. Anyone struggling to get a refund - report to trading standards and liaise with the vendor about how they are breaking the consumer act 2015 and your refund will be processed. Do not back down!

As many have said I wish I'd read the reviews!
Selected the hardcover option and they send me a digital. When trying to resolve the issue the told me I'd ordered the digital version and no refunds were possible.

Unfortunately same experience as others. Bought a hardcover book, which never arrived. Was then told I'd bought an e-book. I asked for a refund and was told not available. I have reported to resolver adding their name as a dishonest company. Upset that I didn't check Trustpilot first, as I usually do. :(

I purchased what claimed to be a book from this company. When it had not arrived and I got in touch with .Rolinson books. They said that it was a download . I pointed out that the book was supposed to have been a present for my wife and this download was of no use to me and could my money be refunded. This was denied. Do not have any dealings with this company

Avoid at all costs, as everybody else received an ebook. I wrote and received a generic email saying they don't sell the hardcopy and told no refund, I threatened with Trading Standards due to them not complying with Consumer Act 2015 and got a reply saying they would refund. That didn't happen so I emailed back asking for confirmation of refund being processed as Trading Standards were waiting for a reply and I also sent the emails to physhing@ gov.uk, I received confirmation of email and refund now in my bank account after a couple of days.
DONT LET THESE SCAMMERS GET AWAY WITH IT!! Keep at them and eventually you will get your refund. Good Luck!

I have reported Rilonson to trading standards for misleading adverts. I also ordered a hard copy book as advertised and received a link to an e book. After eventually contacting customer services I was told I would receive a refund but have received nothing.

Avoid this site. They are completely deceiving and misrepresenting what they are selling and would fall foul I believe of customer selling standards. They only sell e books but their site and prices are meant to deceive.

I ordered two copies of a same book as gifts as it was sold as 'Hardcover' but they sent e books. I contacted them immediately, pointing this out but no refund. Do not buy from this website.

Do not buy. This company advertises, accompanied by photos stating so, that they sell ANY kind of reading matter from Hardbacks to Ebooks. However after your hardback order fails to arrive, you find they only sell Ebooks.
*Official address registered at Companies House appears to be A residential Home for the Elderly*. I wish I’d looked up the Trustpilot reviews before ordering.

Fighting for refund.
Promised refund repeatedly but having chased over and over I have now had a message saying refund on ebook was what was being offered.
Now when I try to look at the details again to confirm it was advertised as hard copy, my browsers and security software is flagging the site as "dangerous"

Bought a hard copy and was told it was ebook only so never received the book id paid for

Only as zero is not an option.

ordered a hardcopy, took a payment twice. did not receive any book. Customer service is just sending generic e mails out that do n ot address any of the queries raised.
