Actual magic. Takes the pressure and stress out of bedtime. Our daughter is very active and struggles to settle down when it’s time to sleep.
Restful Reads is fantastic. The stories are beautifully written and can be tailored to include anything or anyone. We’ve had stories which have sensitively addressed my child’s particular worries at that time, such as school nerves, or just something they enjoy (most of our stories mention a unicorn or two!). Our daughter particularly likes the firefly activity which we do with the calm music in the background whilst the story is being prepared. The recent addition of the audio option is the cherry on the cake, meaning I don’t need to be looking at my phone and we can just enjoy the story together. This sends my little girl to sleep with a smile on her face every single time. 10 out of 10!
Only tricky bit is trying to stay awake yourself 😆!

My daughter is 3 and has a very active mind patricularly at night time - getting her to stop running havoc in her room at night and actually get into her bed is a challenge at best. Restful Reads has changed the game for us. She will now willingly jump into bed each night, excited to do (as she calls them) our ‘nighttime wiggles’ and our ‘circle breathing’ (both are in the Restful Reads wind downs and we do them whilst our story is being generated). As for the story itself - let’s just say it’s a VAST improvement on any stories I could dream up! Every story so far has been just gorgeous. The way they read are so peaceful - often reapeating words like ‘hush’, ‘gentle’ and ‘soothe’ as we usually opt for ‘calm and settled’ as one of our themes. The stories have introduced us to some really great characters, but the real magic for us is when we include her friends, family and her cuddlies as characters. The look on her face when she hears a story about her precious ‘Raffy’ is just wonderful.
I adore Restful Reads - it’s brought a whole lot of calm to our bedtimes and with such minimal effort from us parents!

Restful Reads is a fantastic idea and my son loves them. I often make up stories for him and ramble on, but Restful Reads takes the pressure off by making the story up for me.
My son can choose which characters, places and activities that he wants in the story and that way he is far more engaged with it.
The admin team are also very responsive and helpful with queries and suggestions that we had.
We highly recommend Restful Reads to all!
