We've been with resooma for 3 weeks so…

We've been with resooma for 3 weeks so far and its been awful. Smart meter not updated with our payments (they said this would take a week from when we moved in) so electricity and gas is SWITCHED OFF until we pay for more credit, which is what were paying resooma to do, internet not delivered until 2 weeks in and not installed we had to troubleshoot with virgin over the phone ourselves!! We've tried to get into contact with resooma countless times over the phone but get no response and no response over email from our 'manager' who's supposed to be helping us make sure this all goes smoothly. So essentially resooma is taking our money but not actually paying our bills!!

If you want to pay a company to sort…

If you want to pay a company to sort your bills but end up with stress and letter’s through your door saying “urgent” pay your bill because they haven’t paid your utilities which YOU have paid for then certainly this is the company to go for. Absolutely abysmal service I wouldn’t trust these people. Modern day scam!

they raised our bills by over £20/ month and months after moving out has emailed saying we owe them nearly £300!!!! absolutely disgusting

Not safe

This is not safe! Do not use Resooma! They might work for a while but when the tenancy is over they are a nightmare! They didn’t send us a closing bill when our tenancy ended so we got contacted by SSE about some huge bill that hadn’t been paid. I paid SSE directly because they threatened with court . We contacted Resooma and they just apologised and said they would correct it. It’s been a couple weeks and I just got a bill from Resooma saying they would start collecting the money we “owe” from the 19th of this month - I have overpaid already and they’re still collecting money. I wish we took care of our bills ourselves. It would be less messy.

Edit: I have called them several times and 2 weeks ago they said they would call me back but not a word from them yet.

Great team!

Honestly have no complaints about Resooma. My housemates and I have been with them for a few months and their team has never let us down. They're always clear in communication and willing to help and explain everything until you understand any issues. For a group of students like us, I really could not ask for a better experience. Would definitly, most absolutely, recommend Resoome if you're thinking about getting a bills pack.

Avoid like the plague.

With the current bills crisis, I understand it is a stressful time for these companies. However, Resooma seem to forget it is just as stressful for their customers. They've increased their prices with NO correspondences at all. Their phone lines are now conveniently 'closed' after being on hold for hours on end. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. I'd suggest going straight to SSE/OVO, Southern Water, Virgin etc directly for your utilities.

This is a sister company of Billing Better, who do not offer your consent to use.
They will not deliver your PAID Wi-Fi, and not even pay Southern Water etc on time.
This company will affect your credit score.
They falsely advertise.

I hope this review reaches anyone who will be considering Resooma/Billing Betters 'services' and veers them away.
I wouldn't wish this monstrosity of a 'company' upon my worst enemy.

With regards to your feedback on our telephone lines; we have improved our services in the past week to ensure we have more "hands on deck" as we experienced an unprecedented amount of inbound communications. Sorry that our previously busy telephones lines have hindered your ability to speak to a member of staff; we take our feedback seriously and have hopefully improved this for future customers with the above.

We are not a sister company of Billing Better as you mentioned; Billing Better are our payments partners but we are a separate company entirely. Apologies for the confusion here!

Worst company!

We have paid a months bills and received no WiFi box. They’ve told us it’s been delivered and installed when it evidently has not. There is no promise when we even will get our WiFi! They are literally taking our money. Do not use!

I've had all of my dealings with Elle

I've had all of my dealings with Elle, she has the most upbeat but yet calming energy. I was quite stressed out as I couldn't get my account to work, Elle walked me through every step, she kept me feeling calm and had an infectious 'can do' attitute. She was a pleasure to deal with, I have alot of trust in roosma purely from my interactions with Elle. 5 star service!! What a legend 😊👏

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Horrendous company from start to finish with an endless list of issue. They don’t deliver your wifi until a month into your tenancy leaving you without wifi and no way of contacting the provider about it. Resooma itself is impossible to contact. You can’t ring there customer service line until 4pm even thought it’s supposedly open from 9am and when you do ring you rarely get through to speak to anyone. They don’t reply to any emails for days. They take your payment for your energy bills but don’t actually pay the energy provider leaving you with the energy company chasing you and affecting your credit score. They also charge you more than what your bills are and don’t tell you unless you notice. They will also charge you a cancellation fee even though there service is completely inadequate and useless. Avoid at all costs and do not give them any of your money, not a good company whatsoever.

Super helpful customer service team and…

Super helpful customer service team and knowing my bills are all through 1 entity that comes out monthly is great. I was able to change the payment date to a month that suits me too which was great for managing my finances. Would recommend!

No more lead tenant stress!

We’ve been using Resooma to manage all the bills in my house share. As the lead tenant previously I found that it’s super stressful to chase people for money, especially when trying to keep the mood light with your housemates! I had a query about one of our housemates moving out and when I spoke to the team they were really helpful and patient. Makes a big difference from waiting on hold for over 2 hours with some very well known household names!!!!

Elle is a superstar!

After a smooth setup we had an issue with Virgin activating our wifi. This was a pain but Elle fought our corner and got everything resolved quickly. It was very handy having Elle to handle this for us - 5* purely for her!

Don't even bother

Do not go with Resooma under any circumstances!!! We cancelled our contract before it was even activated! Having rung Resooma up to ask them about their mixed reviews and to seek reassurances that they were a credible and reliable company, I thought it would be appropriate to continue establishing a contact with them and my housemates for our uni's house bills. However, after my housemates were invited to join the quote we experienced major technical issues. These issues were exacerbated by Resooma seemingly being a dodgy company and subcontracting to Billing Better. By going with Resooma we were automatically, and without our informed consent, joined up to Billing Better. This would have been fine if all members of our group could have seen their Resooma and Billing Better dashboards. However, only one out of six housemates could access both their dashboards meaning we were in the dark on information and did not know how our data was stored. Whilst the women I spoke to on the phone where very friendly and assuring they did not seem very motivated to help or to even send me updates on the situation. It was clear to me very early on the Resooma did not care for me or my housemates and our technical issues, and rather just cared for our money. I am so glad we cancelled the contract and direct debits before they could withdraw any money. I would warn other students to stay clear of Resooma if they want a positive, simple and easy experience when it comes to sorting out bills. I can definitely say that Split the Bills and Fused are 100% much better and I am so glad I have used both of these services.

Don’t use this service!!

Resooma is associated with another company named billingbetter

My flat and I used Resooma before and after we checked out, they didn’t send the confirmation of closing our account.

The most important thing is during our tenancy, Resooma and billingbetter didn’t pay water bill for us!! But we have been paying Resooma and billingbetter timely!!

So finally, we got the letter from court today, for the water bill.

Great customer service!

I’ve been having some issues with my bills recently, and although it does cause some stress, the customer service I’ve experienced had been great. I usually try and get help through Elle as she’s super quick, helpful and down to earth. Thanks so much for all your help Elle, a real credit to the company.

I would give lower if I could.

Since day one, they have been awful. They give you a payment date (which changes every month), then continue to take payment days, sometimes weeks, later. Even when you have money in your account, they return payment and you’re left constantly waiting on the bill to be paid. Customer service is awful, you never leave with an answer. We had to change WiFi providers as that service was awful and took us 3 months to setup (we never got the WiFi in the end, despite paying for it). Our water supplier was charging us TWICE as they weren’t receiving our payments to Resooma, so God knows what was happening there.

Please save yourself the trouble and do NOT waste your time with this company. Absolute shambles.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. When I’ve asked questions, they don’t answer them, when I need fast responses, they take sometimes over a week to reply! No compassion or care in their emails - just not worth it at all.
