Terrible customer service

Applied out of curiosity and scheduled a call for a couple of weeks time. Got a call from a rep named Jordan and hung up as I was at work and couldn’t speak at that moment. I then received a very rude and passive aggressive voicemail followed by a WhatsApp message telling me never to use their service again as I couldn’t speak and the call cut out. I would not recommend this service at all, I am a young customer who was merely enquiring and being approached with a bad attitude from a worker is unacceptable. I was then bombarded with emails, more WhatsApp messages and instagram following from the company. Feeling obliged and pressured into a monitory transaction is again not an acceptable way to treat potential customers.

We are very surprised at this review being posted due to the events that occurred.

On the 13th March 2025 we received an application from you to work in Zante, in response to which we contacted you via WhatsApp and Email to confirm that we would be giving you a call to discuss the available options with you. We have then conducted the call to which you have answered and we began introducing ourselves and the reasoning for the call. Rather abruptly we were met with what sounded like laughing before the call was then cut off by yourself without any communication nor warning.

We found this to be rather odd and contacted you with the following:

"Hey Freya,

Hope you are keeping well!

We just tried to give you a call there in relation to your application to work abroad with us, however, unfortunately the call was cut off mid conversation.

If you are indeed still interested in working abroad then please could you get in touch when you see this so that we may rearrange the call.

Should we not hear from you we shall try again to reach you throughout this week.

We look forward to speaking with you soon!"

This does not state in any way that you should avoid using our service and may we also state that in applying and entertaining a conversation for 10 seconds before cutting off the call that we struggle to see how you have considered this a use of our service.

You have stated that you were made to feel obliged and pressured into a monitory transaction. We are very much struggling to comprehend how the opening statement of "Hi Freya, this is Jordan from Rep Route Working Holidays! How are you today?" has put such pressure on you to make a transaction or payment. The reason we conduct calls is not to create pressure to make payments, our calls and client handling process is designed so that we can ensure our potential workers have all of the key information to assist them in making a decision on whether working abroad is a viable option for them considering their own circumstances and what they seek to achieve in travelling and/ or working abroad. As well as this, Rep Route does not accept all applicants and we seek to hold conversations with our potential workers so that we can gain an understanding of them, their experience and what they wish to achieve from the experience of working abroad.

We have since reached out to you to reenforce our feelings of regret that you feel this way and to offer our apologies should our actions of caused any such offence or negative feelings towards you.

Unfortunately, instead of discussing this with us so that we may work towards a solution you have chosen to block all communication and proceed to write negative reviews on numerous Working Holidays companies.

Our offer of discussing the matter with us so that we may seek an amicable resolution remains outstanding and we remain hopeful that you would respond to our messages so that we can try to assist as best as we can.

As you have not used any of our services we are unable to offer any compensation or offers of refund which would generally be our first response had you of been a client of ours.

You are most welcome to get in touch should you still wish to work abroad in the future and we wish you nothing but the best moving forwards.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam, led us on for weeks about our accommodation package only to pull out last minute and offered a tiny compensation package that they knew didn’t suit our timetable DO NOT USE REP ROUTE
We were supposed to fly to Tenerife and work with rep route and when we arrived, they didn’t even have a rep in Tenerife, absolute liars the lot of them, don’t trust them, pack of fairy’s
Yeah you replied but never acknowledged the fact that you don’t have a rep in Tenerife despite lying and saying you did
You gave a minimal window for the compensation package why should I have to accept it within a time frame that suits you? We told you we couldn’t go on these dates thus making the compensation void and meaningless

Dear Eddie,

We are both shocked as well as heavily disappointed that you have chosen to write a review about a service in which you experienced many months / years ago.

You were booked to join us in Tenerife, however, Rep Route were unfortunately victims of a fraudulent scam at the hands of an accommodation provider which proved to be fictional. This was reported to Action Fraud under Case Number: NFRC240206493790, which we shared details of to you at the time in which the issue occurred.

Unfortunately, Rep Route were unable to recover the funds paid to the accommodation provider. Despite this, you were issued with both a full refund of monies paid as well as compensation in the form of multiple weeks of accommodation in Zante at great cost to the company due to the cost of both monies lost as well as the value of the accommodation given to you.

A transcript of the original email issued you at the time:

"On top of the full refund provided to you we have also included compensation in the form of 6 Weeks of free accommodation to utilise in Zante for this Summer 2024 season which can be used from the 1st May 2024 onwards.

Summary:

- A full refund is to be issued to you today of all monies paid to Rep Route in relation to your Tenerife 2024 Workers Package

- 6 Weeks of Workers Accommodation in Zante to be used for the Summer 2024 season"

This being a very isolated incident in which we were unable to provide the service. In any event that this should occur we always strive to protect our clients as best is possible and acted accordingly in both refunding you as well as compensating you in a product in the value of £1,000+.

It is quite frankly ridiculous to gratefully accept the compensation given to you at the time and to then write a review over a year later stating that this was 'tiny'. The Action Fraud report is very real and can be sourced online very easily, a copy of which was issued to you directly.

Despite it being made very clear to you that the accommodation package had been cancelled you yourself decided to fly to Tenerife on a whim. Of course we did not have a rep in resort because your reservation was cancelled weeks before you chose to travel to the island.

Not one piece of information provided to you was a lie and it is completely backed up by the very real Action Fraud report as well as the full refund you were issued at the time.

You have acknowledged and accepted this refund and compensation at the time.

We remain fully committed to providing our guests the best possible service and experiences and in any event this is not achieved we will always do our very best to compensate, refund or offer alternative solutions. In this event, you were offered and accepted all three.

Thankfully, this has been an isolated incident and we have not had any such issues with accommodation providers in any of our other resorts since.

shocking awful

shocking, customer service is awful and the contract doesn't clearly state anything, so they change the meaning of what the contract says as they please.

Scam artists and an unethical business, tricking young people.

Do not go with Rep Route.

Update:

To add onto this, a few days ago I received an email from rep-route, they asked I can remove my review and as 'courtesy' they offered me £100, as they are currently conversing with my bank as I reported a payment they took from my bank.

I paid invoices manually whilst paying for my holiday, even if I was a day late the money would never be removed from them, there was not a direct debit set up.

I got sent my invoice as normal, and at this point I decided I will not be attending anymore and I messaged Jordan to say this, less than an hour later they removed the money from my account. Keep in mind, this had never happened before but as soon as I say I'm going to cancel my money is removed manually.

I paid more than 800 pounds for a holiday I will not be attending and a 39 pounds cancellation fee, I never expected the whole of my money back, but to receive money they took from me back to remove a review is crazy to me as by this the reason to my review still stands.

This company is very sneaky, just please beware, make sure you are 100% sure you are able to go and your situation is stable before planning to go, but then again I haven't heard the greatest things about the working holidays after looking further into it.

And just take a look at some of these reviews, not all, but some, look at the accounts other reviews and account names. All seems slightly strange to me.

We are extremely surprised by the posting of this review and believe you may of misunderstood our many attempts to assist you with this enquiry.

Firstly, you have stated that our customer service is poor - this is extremely shocking due to the fact that we have responded to every single one of your emails within an appropriate timeframe and always aimed to assist you as best as we can. We don't understand which part of our customer service can be faulted and it seems your issues lay more so with the contract and not necessarily our staff who have been trying to assist you with the query.

You have stated the contract does 'not clearly state anything' which makes little sense, particularly due to the fact you have informed us on several occasions that you understand the terms and that you had accepted these.

We are not entirely sure what you are stating when you mention about invoices manually and automated, however, if you had agreed to make these payments and had been making these manually then this would indicate that you intended to travel and utilise your booking as a result.

At the point of which you made the decision that you no longer wished to travel to Zante with us we issued you with an email which gave you the instructions on how to proceed with the cancellation of the booking - an email in which you responded to to state you would be doing this in due course (which never materialised).

After consultation with you via email we gave you the option of cancelling by paying a cancellation fee and explained that in doing so the reservation would be cancelled - you proceeded to do this and the booking was cancelled as per the information provided.

You have then got in touch to state your displeasure at this despite our multiple emails informing you of the process and the fact that there would be cancellation fees due to the fact that you were cancelling your booking with 2 weeks notice.

As is the case with several holidays or reservation based businesses, cancelling with 2 weeks notice will 9 times out of 10 will result in cancellation fees being applied.

This was a decision you chose to accept in paying the cancellation fee, however, afterwards decided that you were dissatisfied with this outcome.

We have then made attempts to offer you some alternative solutions which involved:

- A partial refund
- Utilising the booking in the future
- Adjusting the dates

All of which you decided to decline.

You have raised a dispute with the bank on the payment which has prompted us to handle the case with your banking institution directly. After consultation with the bank they decided in favour of Rep Route which only confirms further the fact that we have acted in good faith throughout the process of cancellation and have in fact offered several options that we are not obligated to do so to assist you.

Should any of our guests not be completely 100% they are able to go they need fear not due to the fact that we would always offer the option of changing their dates to some that suit them best - even changing which resort they go to all together. This being an offer that was made to you also which you chose to decline.

We believe you are in no position to make claims on our working holidays service in resort due to the fact you have never travelled with us and chose not to on this occasion.

An email which was issued to you on the 27th February 2025:

"Dear Ellie,

Thanks for responding to us.

As has been explained already, you gave consent for payments to process in this manner.

You have chosen to decline the offer of changing your dates and avoiding any losses.

You have also declined the offer of a partial refund.

You have chosen to cancel your booking on the terms which have been shared to you on multiple occasions which, based on the amount of notice given (2 weeks), constitute a 100% cancellation cost."

ABSOLUTE SCAM DO NOT USE! DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT PAY YOUR RENT!!!!! NO ONE WHO STAYED WITH THEM IN IBIZA HAD A GOOD WORD TO SAY ABOUT THEM!!!!
Even giving one star to this company feels generous! I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy! We booked accommodation with them from end of July to end of October. You pay hundreds over what the accommodation actually is if you go directly with the landlord. Firstly you get there have to pay a deposit that no one ever gets back no matter what they say. Also have screenshots from a Landlord that Rep Route had not even given him the deposit, so curious to know where it actually goes. On arrival the inresort rep Sara was really nice, helpful and understanding and made us feel really welcome. She left the company and was replaced by Anisha who was the complete opposite rude, obnoxious, and no help at all.
We was put in Ramon apartments for the first 6 weeks until we was moved with one days notice to Rosalia, as they couldn’t afford to pay Ramon apartments. When we expressed to Anisha this was in convinent she said you paid for a bed and that’s all your entitled to, no understanding at all that packing up 3 months worth of stuff and moving on a days notice is frustrating! Also the floor we was on in Ramon Apartment (including our room) was burgled many times before we arrived you would have thought we would have been given a heads up about this by Rep Route but had to find out from a boy two floors above.
On arrival to the new place the last people are still in there packing up? So why was we told we had to move it that day? The bedding was filthy and had not been changed from the previous people! We wasn’t even given a key as it was Sunday and the key cutting shop was shut, why didn’t Anisha get one cut when she knew we was moving days before? We went for food and was locked out for an hour and half waiting for someone to let us in! We are there a week until we get an angry landlord knocking on our door saying we have an hour to pack our stuff up as Jordan hasn’t paid him in over two weeks (so why did he move us there if he knew he couldn’t pay the rent?) Two girls in Ibiza with no where to go, Jordan and Anisha also ignored my calls to the point that my dad had to call Jordan to get an answer. We are then sent to a place that has a nickname the bando. There is 22 bunk beds, place is filthy and not at all what we paid for. Then again another angry landlord who had not been paid came after a week. In the end we had to actually pay again ourselves to stay there as we didn’t want to move about again. So we paid twice in October to be sleeping in a bunk bed! When we expressed to rep route was offered to move back to Rosalia , why would we want to move again for the third time?Even ex staff and Landlords only had bad things to say about Rep Route! They offered us a credit note for October why would we ever book with a rubbish useless company like this again. The director Jordan sells you the dream and then changes constantly what he says, making promises he does not stick too! CANNOT EXPRESS ENOUGH DO NOT USE THEM! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING PUT THROUGH A NIGHTMARE! Me and my friend are writing this review as we do not want anyone to go through what we went through! Especially younger adults who are going to Ibiza solo! We are lucky we had to each other as the experience with them was hell!!!!!!!!

We are very shocked that you have chosen to write this review due to the fact the we have made an amicable agreement of compensation with you.

We are disappointed that you have had this experience and can completely accept that there are elements to the service that you signed up for that were not delivered.

We have remained as transparent as possible with our Ibiza guests over the Summer 2024 season which had a variety of challenges caused mainly due to the 3rd party with whom your original accommodation was secured through.

Unfortunately, Rep Route were victims of a fraudulent scheme at the hands of a supplier named 'Emma Wilson', representative of a fictional company named 'Tu Casa' to supply our rooms for the season. The result of this is that all original accommodation was paid for in full by Rep Route only to find that come the beginning of the season these rooms were not legitimate. Legal proceedings are ongoing, however, at this stage the monies paid remain unrecoverable.

We were not the only effected parties by this culprit.

Despite this, we worked tirelessly to secure new accommodation for our Ibiza 2024 guests - whilst the easier option would of been to cancel, refund & possibly ruin summer plans - we managed after much hard work to secure new accommodation at further cost to our company.

Upon your arrival to Ibiza you received your airport transfer and were checked into the new apartment which you stated you were happy with at the time.

On the 9th September we issued you an email well in advance to inform you that you were required to move accommodation due to the fact that there were just two of you in a six person apartment, with this being unsustainable for us to continue with. The rent on this apartment was paid up to the date in which you were informed you were required to move. Of course, we did not make further payments due to the fact that the apartment was due to be returned to the landlord on the date in question.

You were compensated in the form of a refund for the inconvenience and stated yourself that you were satisfied with this at the time.

Whilst the new accommodation did contain a number of beds, the room in which you were provided was given to yourself for private use as promised.

You were never ignored, regular communication was held with you regarding the matter of which we accepted there had been issues and subsequently made an offer of compensation to you.

Below we have copied an email we received from yourself in relation to the offer:

"- I have been in receipt of the appropriate accommodation / product, in alignment with my booking, for the period 31st July 2024 > 11th September 2024
- I accept the refund (£151.50) covering the period 11st September 2024 > 1st October 2024
- I accept the refund credit note (£700) covering the period 1st October 2024 > 31st October 2024
- I am satisfied with this outcome and accept the refund & credit note refund totalling £851.50

We believe this email summarises not only the fact that we have acted as best as we could to help you but also the fact that you confirmed you were satisfied with the outcome.

To state we are 'a scam and take your money', your email confirms the exact opposite in that we return your money in the event things do not go as planned.

As detailed, the original reasoning for the changes is due to a scam we ourselves have been victim of, however, we have made all efforts to protect our guests from being effected.

We have also introduced a minimum age limit & new Ibiza accommodation providers for 2025, with your experience taken into consideration.

In the event that you have been dissatisfied with the individuals in question, after receipt of your feedback our staffing has been reviewed and wholesale changes have been made.

It must be made clear that we have responded to this and offered compensation which you have accepted and stated you were happy with, however.

So much fun!

My first time doing anything like this, it was so simple and everyone was so kind and friendly. Met so many amazing people, easily one of the best things I have ever done, and will hopefully be doing it again!

What a joke!

Rep Route are probably the worst holiday company ever ever ever in my opinion. Book at your riak and suffer the consequences. They are absolutely abominable. Trust me that is an understatement

Dear Sophie,

As always, we aim to give a clear and structured response to any specific claims or any issues that have taken place in which you have explained in your review.

Unfortunately, you have included absolutely no information on anything that you have experienced and have simply stated we are an 'abominable' holiday company.

We have reached out to you for further comment and to give us some actual detail on what exactly has made your experience so terrible which you have not responded to. As we have been unable to receive a response to this request we are also unable to determine who you are and whether you legitimately had a reservation with us.

What we can confirm, however, is that we were in receipt of a number of complaints from our Summer 2023 & 2024 guests regarding a specific guest also named 'Sophie' who was nothing but negative the whole time in resort and was continually dragging the vibe down and trying to cause issues. Various guests were required to be moved accommodation to avoid being nearby to this specific guest as they had decided to come to Zante for a good time and not to be around any form of negativity.

This specific guest 'Sophie' has now booked with Rep Route on 3 separate occasions over 3 different summer seasons. We would suggest that should your experience have been so 'abominable' it would be worthwhile considering avoiding booking your summer season with us for a 4th time if this is your opinion.

In the event that the behaviour &/ or attitude of our guests is believed to be impacting the experience of others in resort we are within our rights to arrange meetings to investigate further as well as to apply disciplinary proceedings against those who are doing so.

We struggle to understand why you would choose to use our services on 3 different occasions if it is the case that this is your opinion and therefore we believe that there may be underlying reasons to your decision to post further negativity.

It would be great for you to respond to our attempts to reach out to you so that we can hear what exactly made your experience so negative.

In the majority of events where our guests communicate with us properly about any issues we are always happy to investigate and make changes to improve. Not to mention the fact that any guests who we believe have not received the standard of service we strive to provide are often compensated.

The best way to reach a resolution would be to contact us directly.

When handling negative reviews we always aim to maintain a certain level of professionalism, however, in this case you have made this extremely difficult due to the simple ridiculousness of the statement you have posted.

First of all, in our 6 years of business, we have never had any guest join us called 'Tim' which leads us to believe your 'experience' is not genuine and that you have never used our services. We have contacted you through TrustPilot, to request further details of yourself and proof of your booking, to which you have not responded which only heightens this theory.

Secondly, you have included absolutely no substance to your review as to what made your experience so negative, only that our company act in a caring and nice manner and that we will 'scam' you. Should your review indeed be based on a genuine experience we request for you to share what exactly the 'scam' is and are currently awaiting your reply.

With very limited information posted it is difficult to continue responding to this, however, what we can say is that in our 6 year history we have always fully strived to provided the best possible service and products to our guests. No guest within this period has ever failed to be in receipt of what they have paid for and in any event that the service or standard of service has fallen beneath the level intended guests have been compensated fairly based upon clear conversations and communication in relation to the issues that took place.

Your review in it's current format allows no such action to be taken as you have shared absolutely no information.

At this current moment in time we maintain that we believe this review is not based on a genuine experience and this has been flagged with TrustPilot.

NO WORDS BUT AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE and SCAM of a company! Nothing but bad words to say about this company and the experience I had with them ( as well as multiple other people ). Was booked for 3 months in Ibiza with them which was the first time too and put full trust into this company and was sold a dream. The rent was failed to be paid on our apartment which we had pre paid months before coming out, moved three times in under two weeks with an very angry landlord turning up because the rent hadn’t been paid in over 15 days ( giving us 30 minutes to leave ) which then moving to the next accommodation the exact same thing had happened and was moved into somewhere with 22 bunk beds even after being promised our own room which we had paid money for. When trying to communicate with Jordan who is supposed to be the manager he continued to just ignore us. Anisha who is supposed to be the in house rep is rude, unprofessional and certainly has no people skills! I can’t stress to anyone who is ever thinking to book with this company TO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THEY ARE A SCAM AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. Prior to booking with them we saw a lot of bad reviews but continued to trust this company but I can now see why. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AND BE SCAMMED THE SAME WAY WE WAS.

We are very shocked that you have chosen to write this review due to the fact the we have made an amicable agreement of compensation with you.

We are disappointed that you have had this experience and can completely accept that there are elements to the service that you signed up for that were not delivered.

We have remained as transparent as possible with our Ibiza guests over the Summer 2024 season which had a variety of challenges caused mainly due to the 3rd party with whom your original accommodation was secured through.

Unfortunately, Rep Route were victims of a fraudulent scheme at the hands of a supplier named 'Emma Wilson', representative of a fictional company named 'Tu Casa' to supply our rooms for the season. The result of this is that all original accommodation was paid for in full by Rep Route only to find that come the beginning of the season these rooms were not legitimate. Legal proceedings are ongoing, however, at this stage the monies paid remain unrecoverable.

We were not the only effected parties by this culprit.

Despite this, we worked tirelessly to secure new accommodation for our Ibiza 2024 guests - whilst the easier option would of been to cancel, refund & possibly ruin summer plans - we managed after much hard work to secure new accommodation at further cost to our company.

Upon your arrival to Ibiza you received your airport transfer and were checked into the new apartment which you stated you were happy with at the time.

On the 9th September we issued you an email well in advance to inform you that you were required to move accommodation due to the fact that there were just two of you in a six person apartment, with this being unsustainable for us to continue with. The rent on this apartment was paid up to the date in which you were informed you were required to move. Of course, we did not make further payments due to the fact that the apartment was due to be returned to the landlord on the date in question.

You were compensated in the form of a refund for the inconvenience and stated yourself that you were satisfied with this at the time.

Whilst the new accommodation did contain a number of beds, the room in which you were provided was given to yourself for private use as promised.

You were never ignored, regular communication was held with you regarding the matter of which we accepted there had been issues and subsequently made an offer of compensation to you.

Below we have copied an email we received from yourself in relation to the offer:

"- I have been in receipt of the appropriate accommodation / product, in alignment with my booking, for the period 31st July 2024 > 11th September 2024
- I accept the refund (£151.50) covering the period 11st September 2024 > 1st October 2024
- I accept the refund credit note (£700) covering the period 1st October 2024 > 31st October 2024
- I am satisfied with this outcome and accept the refund & credit note refund totalling £851.50

We believe this email summarises not only the fact that we have acted as best as we could to help you but also the fact that you confirmed you were satisfied with the outcome.

To state we are 'a scam and take your money', your email confirms the exact opposite in that we return your money in the event things do not go as planned.

As detailed, the original reasoning for the changes is due to a scam we ourselves have been victim of, however, we have made all efforts to protect our guests from being effected.

We have also introduced a minimum age limit & new Ibiza accommodation providers for 2025, with your experience taken into consideration.

In the event that you have been dissatisfied with the individuals in question, after receipt of your feedback our staffing has been reviewed and wholesale changes have been made.

It must be made clear that we have responded to this and offered compensation which you have accepted and stated you were happy with, however.

False Promises, Terrible Conditions, and a Complete Waste of Money

SCAM of a company – Completely disorganised and full of false promises.

At the start of the year, I made it my goal to pursue DJing, and when RepRoute contacted me in January, I thought I’d found the perfect opportunity. I was promised a minimum of 4 gigs a week in Zante, including playing at a pool party at Maui and the silent disco at El Paradico. I invested nearly £2,500 upgrading my equipment, taking DJ courses, and preparing a diverse music library, all based on their assurances.

When I arrived, there were no gigs lined up—the venues I was promised said they already had their DJs for the summer. I asked the reps for help, and they pointed me to a couple of places that didn’t need DJs either. I went to 15 different clubs on my own, but none of them needed DJs. The only gig I got (and this was on my own, not through RepRoute) was at a bar with an empty room most nights—hardly the experience I’d invested so much in.

RepRoute’s disorganisation and failure to deliver on every single promise have left me fuming. They sold me a dream, but gave me nothing in return. This experience has completely shattered my trust in them. I had hoped to build my DJ career in Zante this summer, with the goal of working with RepRoute in Ibiza next year, but after this nightmare, I won’t waste any more of my time or money.

If you’re considering coming to work in Zante, I HIGHLY advise against it. One major thing they don’t tell you is that workers in Zante only get paid €5 an hour, which should be illegal. It’s incredibly difficult to survive on that, especially given the high costs you’ll already incur just to get there.

As for the accommodation, it was honestly the worst I’ve ever had in my life. There was no air conditioning, (whilst being in 40 degrees heat) no cooking facilities, and the bathroom was disgusting. There were no cleaners (they only come when you check out) and the water was constantly not working, so I had to go to work without being able to shower on several days. The electricity kept cutting out as well. It was an absolute nightmare.

On top of that, after initially being told I would get my €50 damage deposit back when I left by simply emailing my bank details, I had to email RepRoute twice before receiving a response. After waiting 10 days for them to finally reply, they told me I would have to wait until the end of the season to get my deposit back. What kind of company makes you wait so long to return your own money?

Absolutely do not recommend.

Please be aware that due to the unfortunate scenario of our Resort DJs Manager leaving his role in the weeks prior to your arrival this is the reason as to why the management of your specific gigs in DJ performing experienced some difficulty.

Rep Route have specific managers for specialised skill workers including the likes of DJs, Dancers and Performers who oversee the general handling, scheduling and management of our clients performances.

We accept that due to our DJs Manager leaving post prior to your arrival that the result of this, due to arriving in peak season dates, was that there was difficulty in obtaining new gigs. Due to this, we have reached out to you directly so that we may discuss this matter and offer some form of resolution or compensation to cover this.

As a company, we offer guaranteed work opportunities in resort and in the event that this is now achieved we aim to resolve the matter where possible.

Please respond to our Resort Manager who has reached out to you over WhatsApp on a number of occasions since this has been posted.

In relation to your comments on the accommodation, the particular block in which you were allocated to, Party Hard Studios, we have fully accepted that this has failed to meet the accommodation standards in which our company has offered over the past 6 seasons. Your feedback has been taken on board and we have terminated all contracts with this supplier as a result. As well as this, we have secured a brand new accommodation hotel block to the highest standards in which we could obtain as a direct replacement for this accommodation. Your feedback has been accepted and taken on board in our efforts to source the highest quality accommodation possible, with a number of videos, pictures and 360 images taken to ensure our guests have the best possible insight into these rooms prior to their arrival to resort.

In regards to your deposit, this is also something we are keen to resolve with you if you could please respond to our messages as soon as possible.

A member of our team shall look to give you a call tomorrow afternoon. Please respond to us so that we may discuss this matter and do what we can to resolve this.

IBIZA SCAM… One star is generous if i could give zero star i would!!!!


If you are thinking about doing Ibiza season with rep route I wouldn’t bother especially if you are alone. I paid £1000 for a month ( 1st -28th ) not including flights and 3 days less than a month , I also got charged £60 to come a day later when two other people arrived on the same day as me and didn’t get charged for it. prior to booking I was pestered by the sales team to ensure they had my booking as soon as possible which we
I agreed on this is where it took a turn for the worst as the customer service dropped dramatically. The “customer service team” aka. One person who didn’t have an ounce of customer service training by the sounds of it as all I had rude replies the whole journey for a minimum because 9/10 they wouldn’t even answer back. Coming out by myself at 18 years old i am so happy i took it upon myself to make friends with people coming out the same day as me before i got to ibiza because if i was all alone i would’ve been so scared and frightened. Upon leaving the airport we did not get the private transfer as stated due to them not wanting to do a trip to the airport as it was not their scheduled transfer days. We then met at the meet up spot (a random café) for almost 2 hours whilst they “cleaned” our room. We then had to lug our suitcases 15 mins down the road as the cafe was no where near our accommodation. To add to that they wouldn’t tell us our address to our accommodation as they took us somewhere completely different to where they advertise. Aircon is a sensitive subject with this company it seems as the word seems to trigger the staff into reverting back to their terms and conditions we did dispute this many times but gave up and bought a bunch of fans as anyone can agree no air conditioning in August is really embarrassing, we were offered a small Aircon unit for €300 for the month yet again Rep route with their fee’s it seems you can’t ask them anything without them adding a fee somewhere. Rep route has no place in ibiza all they can offer you is a disgusting accommodation that me and 4 other people paid £1000 for less than a month even though if you rent it from the land lady it’s £450 a month so that is already £4500 they have scammed off us. They advertise the accommodation that you get ceiling fans (which is not true) large balconies (which is not true) weekly cleaning (absolutely not true) when we walked in our apartment the floors were dirty, mouldy fridge and bath, dirty earbuds under the bed, the only thing that was “clean” were our bed sheet, private bathroom (absolutely not true again) i had to share one dirty bathroom with 3 girls and 1 boy which would flood every time someone would use the shower, pool tables (NOT TRUE), flatscreen tvs (ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE), we also had to pay a £50 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT which no one has had a refund whatsoever. they also advertise discounted wrist bands and exclusive party info access WHICH IS NOT TRUE ONCE AGAIN and for young people that will draw them in but it’s all lies. recruit days they advertise as well we didn’t have one “recruitment day” happen myself and a few others had to go out and find ourselves jobs by ourselves which is hard as most of us are from the uk and haven’t got a eu passport/ working visa so it is actually illegal for us to work there but prior to coming i messaged a few people from rep route company asking if it would be okay and they said it will be totally fine which is another LIE. 24/7 rep support is a massive joke the only time we could ever get in touch with anyone was if we spammed them with messages or if it was to do with money then they would reply. On my first night me and 2 other people i was sharing a apartment with went out in ibiza and couldn’t get home as they didn’t tell us the address or the name of the apartment we kept ringing and ringing people as we were lost and had no idea where to go and we got absolutely no answer. They advertise a bar crawl on the first night with everyone else who has came out with the company that was a LIE. your second day your supposed to have breakfast with everyone then go to ocean beach and then a meal in the evening with everyone that in fact ANOTHER LIE. the whole week they planned on their website is all a total LIE. I really felt for the few people that came on their own as they do not encourage any sort of “working family” environment in Ibiza and you’ll probably never meet anyone that doesn’t live in your own room. We knew of 3 people within the month that got there realised they were alone and left within a week. The current “rep?” In Ibiza has an atrocious attitude that I hope no one has to deal with. I think the only good thing about this company is that they will leave you alone when you’re there. Please do not waste any time or money entertaining this mess of a company. I’m sure this will get a rude and defensive response as it’s a running theme throughout with this company.

For comparison, we have conducted a search on Booking.com for the same dates in 2025 which return total costings of around £5,000+ - in comparison, the price in which you paid for a month in Ibiza is incredibly low.

In regards to the 'rude' responses you have received we are genuinely incredibly shocked and surprised by this as our customer service has regularly been recognised as being high quality. Please could you share with us directly exactly who has been rude to you by emailing admin@rep-route.com OR by contacting our Resorts Manager, Jordan, so that we may look into this as a matter of urgency. This is not at all how we intend to operate.

You have mentioned about travelling to Ibiza with Rep Route as an 18 year old - we would like to advise you that after much consideration of individuals & events which have taken place this summer we have introduced a minimum age policy of 21+ for Ibiza guests moving forwards.

The Airport Pick Up service, you were informed on a number of occasions that transfers are provided on designated arrival dates only. Despite this, you made the decision to travel on an earlier date and acknowledged that you would not receive this.

Standard Check In times are from 3pm, this being very common with hotels / apartments nowadays. As you arrived significantly earlier than this time you were required to wait until this time to check-in.

Air Conditioning in Workers Apartments based in Ibiza are generally not included. Whilst we in fact agree with you that this is inconvenient, particularly for peak summer, this is in accordance with the landlords requests. You were not advised at any point before, during or after your time in the accommodation that air conditioning was included. You were also offered the option of having air conditioning to which you refused.

After consultation with the resort rep we have been advised that you were contacted regarding starting work to which you responded that you did not wish to secure a job at that time.

You have stated there was not any form of 'working family' and you did not receive support from the rep, however, also state that is it a positive that the company 'leaves you alone'. You were added to the group chat which contains all RR Ibiza Workers, with regular events taking place and posted within this.

In regards to your refundable damage deposit, as you left the resort early without providing any notice whatsoever to the resort rep team they were unable to return this deposit to you. We make it clear at each welcome meeting that in the event guests are to leave early we require adequate notice to allow for us to return the damage deposit. You have informed us yourself that you provided no such notice and therefore this is the outcome.

Ultimately, overall you seem to have an impression that every member of our team has managed to come across as 'rude' - we can only assume that this stance is what has meant you do not feel comfortable speaking with us directly and what has led for you to post this review publicly. We have no intentions whatsoever to come across this way and would like to request that you share more information on this as a matter of urgency.

SCAM- Do not waste your time or your money with this company. They will provide (poor) accommodation and that is all. There are no jobs or support once you are there. You’ll be lucky if they even pick you up at the airport. You’ll be crammed into mouldy bed bug infested apartments with no air con and when you contact the “rep” for support you’ll be told they’ve had these problems before just go to a chemist for cream and wash your sheets.
They are an absolute sham of a company and the dream they are selling is one big con, just like the positive reviews on here. No doubt a flurry of positive 5 star reviews will follow this one, all paid for with the promise of food.
Don’t waste your hard earned money on this company, you are best off paying for a holiday and at least staying somewhere inhabitable.
The “admin team” a man sat at a computer who takes 2 weeks to reply will have an answer for everything in his reply to this, their ts&cs are very clever and thought out so be warned.

To begin with, the accommodation in which you were provided has been used by Rep Route guests all summer season (since May) with no such complaints about the standards of these large apartments. You have stated that there was a 'bed bug; infestation, however, you were given assistance with this issue in being advised to visit a chemist who themselves confirmed that this was not a bed bug issue and was a heat rash - something you confirmed directly with the rep in resort yourself.

The Ramon Apartment video has been shown to all guests prior to arrival meaning that you were aware of the living arrangements before you travelled to stay in Ibiza with our company. This video is viewable here:

You mention that it would be with great luck to receive the airport pick up, yet you yourself received the airport pick up with no issues whatsoever as have all Rep Route guests this summer season in Ibiza.

You have mentioned about waiting 2 weeks for a reply to your emails. We have taken a look into this and it would appear on the 3 occasions you have emailed our team you have received a response within 48 hours.

As is our stance with all of our summer guests we would much prefer to communicate directly so that we may put in place solutions to any problems you are having in resort. To post this review a number of weeks after leaving without giving any opportunity to the team in resort to assist with this is very disappointing.

From your statement here it appears the one time you requested support you were given valid advice to attend the chemist who diagnosed the issue as a heat rash and provided you with medication for this. Unfortunately, our rep team are not medical professionals and the advice given here was absolutely the correct call - we are unsure what else you would have liked for us to do in this scenario as the bed provided was clearly not infested with bugs as was confirmed by the chemist.

What could’ve been a complete nightmare…

What could’ve been a complete nightmare organising my holiday and finding work abroad rep route made the whole process smooth and simple from finding me work to enjoying the whole experience outside of work also, highly recommend them. The team I worked with as well were amazing and welcoming, looking forward to next season!!

Got there and everyone was so sound

Got there and everyone was so sound, unreal experience. Hotel was very clean and beds were very comfy, definitely coming back next year. Top company!

Rep Route is a great business

Went out with Rep Route this Summer season, upgraded to Gold Tier accommodation and was really impressed - room of two people, wi-fi, air conditioning, swimming pool - everything was great with both the room itself as well as the rep support we got. Decided to purchase the events week and it was class - boat parties, pool parties, bar crawls were all spot on and managed to get a job as a bartender in one of the beach bars

All in all was quality and can't wait to come back out next season!
