BEWARE - This should be a good system, but the capacity for taking money from your account without permission is scary. I cancelled my account by email, did not realise I had to do it on the website. I received confirmation, however they continued the account and without any kind of notification they took two payments of £19 from my account. I am in no position to afford this, but they would admit nothing and continued to justify taking my money. I can see this is a pattern, so please sign up with caution and definitely watch your bank account. Very dishonest it seems if you cancel in the £1 window. I am dismayed.

It is a reliable service
Overall, Rentumo is a good service and makes it easy to find potential accommodation. The matching system works well and helps connect you with relevant listings quickly. I accidentally paid for Premium again and wanted a refund, but I had cancelled too early, so technically I didn’t qualify. Even so, the customer service team was great, very helpful and understanding, and they still issued me a refund. I really appreciate how fair and responsive they were. Great customer service experience.

Where is the minus stars option
Where is the minus stars option? This company is a complete red flag. SCAM WARNING. My girlfriend and I are looking for a flat and she sent me a property via WhatsApp to look at. The property looked good but to see the information I had to pay £1, turns out the property was for a single occupancy. Two weeks later £19 is taken from my account. I had absolutely no idea I had been signed up for a subscription. I contacted bank fraud, action fraud, disputes, and Rentumo. Rentumo claimed I should have cancelled the subscription (even though I didn’t know I was subscribed), the even went as far as claiming I should have used the services (even though I didn’t know I was subscribed). Even worse they contacted me with all of these total lies that I had knowingly subscribed even contacting me on XMAS Day, absolute red flag company do not click any of their links.

AVOID this company like the plague is…
AVOID this company like the plague is my strongest advice. they will take your money - you wont be able to contact a single human being or email anyone they are simply uncontactable - which of course we all now know is a HUGE red flag for dodgy companies. and they will keep harassing you for money even after you've cancelled your sub (which trust me youll find v hard to do in first place). DONT use them - boycott them. they should be banned worldwide - cant understand how theyre allowed to operate

Webside is a scam, I paid £1 to view 4 days for property and I got automatically signed up to a membership which I did not agree on, they took £35 and refused to give my refund.
