Arrogant owner who wasnt prepared to even open a conversation with the vendor when I was prepared to place an offer

I had a very poor experience with this estate agent. Over a period of six months, they managed to arrange only one viewing. Feedback from that viewer was that the agent was difficult to contact, which matched my own experience.

The marketing material was poor to the extent that I was forced to take and supply my own photographs in order for the property to be presented at all adequately.

I found the agent arrogant and rude to deal with, and rather than actively marketing the property or offering constructive advice, the only suggestion was to repeatedly reduce the asking price.

After instructing a second agent, my house sold quickly, which confirmed my concerns about the service I had received.

Unfortunately, once I moved to another agent, the situation deteriorated further. I received long, unpleasant and intimidating text messages, in which parts of the contract appeared to be selectively quoted or misrepresented, along with threats to seek an injunction against my sale, despite the fact that my buyer had had no contact with this agent whatsoever.

Overall, this was an unprofessional and stressful experience, and I would not recommend this agent.

A rude and arrogant agent who isn’t as good as he thinks he is!

Gives contradictory advice, massively undervalues property compared to other local agents, accused me of lying about it, and cannot take polite, constructive criticism about his terrible website. Maybe he did it himself.

Avoid avoid avoid!

Can’t give zero sadly however, Imagine getting a letter from post office saying you have to pay £1.50 to get a delivery, so you go to the post office to find a letter, you then open it, expecting something else and it’s this lot! RELD. If they can’t pay the postage properly then what else can they do? So you ring Simon up to get a call back saying it’s not his problem, so out of pocket 15mm Les driven and an hour of your life wasted!
Chancers plain and simple!

This company has not been in contact with me as the seller of a property but is posting adverts for the house creating an impression they were involved. They are not involved.

if you, like us, thought selling your home was bound to be an ordeal then you haven’t met Simon and Melissa at Reld .
We first met Simon through a local estate agent just prior to putting our property on the market . We felt an immediate rapport with him and when he informed us that he was starting up his own company, the decision to move with him was an easy one.
In no time at all , he and his partner Melissa had lined up a steady stream of viewers and we just sat back while Simon conducted the potential buyers around our property . Along the way we have benefitted from his wealth of knowledge and experience and he has pointed us in the direction of some of his many contacts within the property and building industry .
We have now Seld with Reld subject to contract and can’t thank Simon and Melissa enough for their friendly and professional service.

When we decided to sell our equestrian property we initially went with a local agent. Sadly this didn't work out as the company had little experience of our type of property. We looked for another agent and came across RELD. Simon was just about to go live with his own company. He has massive experience with rural, country, equestrian and land properties.
We immediately felt comfortable with him, the fees were less than all the others and the service was excellent. Simon organised photos, drone footage, proper maps and all else that was needed. No fuss just professional help wherever needed. The virtual tour is a huge bonus. Simon guides buyers around on a zoom call. This irons out any minor issues before the actual viewing, buyers who then come have already asked all the questions. This system led to the first person viewing via RELD made an offer.
Simons' experience helped our buyer as much as he helped us.
To be honest, I hope not to move again for many years. If I did I would certainly use RELD.

Well… where to start. We went into selling our property with an estate agent cautiously after a previous below average experience. Simon and the team have gone over and above all expectations. We could not ask for any more. Photos were great, virtual tour was great. Simon conducted the virtual tour and talked potential buyers through it step by step and because of this the first to physically view our property made an offer, as there was not any unexpected surprises when they arrived. This ruled out a lot of viewers before they wasted our time and theirs viewing in person for an unsuitable property.

Now we have sold subject to contract, it hasn’t ended there with Simon aiding in the search for our new home and making the entire process so simple. We know we can just pick up the phone and he would be there to answer any questions or worries.

I would not hesitate to highly recommend RELD when selling a property.
