First impressions soon led to disappointment
Hotel had recent referb and first impressions looked good. Entrance and atrium looked good and comfortable. Offered free bottled water. Room was ready for occupation. Room was large and well appointed but had limited power sockets or usb to charge phones and other dependent appliances. Only a couple of usb on one side of the bed plus a couple in the radio but nothing on the other side usb or power to plug in watch and phone.
A request for additional clothes hangers and added milk was acknowledge by front desk but nothing arrived.
No bathroom items other than soap.
No restaurant only simple snacks and coffee takeaway. Room service ordering of breakfast proved a disaster. Lukewarm food in a paper bag with disposable silverware. The 73$ charge for eggs for two and coffee was reduced with 50$ refund when questioned.
Takeaway lunchtime snack soup and a sandwich. Soup lukewarm and when returned to server to ask to microwave soup. Had no facility and referred me to reception where I was directed a a microwave in the business centre.
Seems operational cost saving outweigh customer service. Looks good but no substance. Is there a long term future for this facility.
Not a 4 star hotel
I check in August 2024. At reception I was asked to pay for incidentals at 39 pounds. I paid. A week after checking out I noted that my refund was not processed. Contacted them and it appeared no one knew why I was charged. I have had to provide receipts of the money going out but not coming back in. I spoke to a front office night supervisor called Arthur Ventura. He has failed to support me appropriately and then after my second chase up email, he proceeds to ask me why I was charged the 39 pounds, even though this was covered.
This is not managed as 4 star at all. During my stay, shower was coming off the wall and I reported on my first day. This was never fixed until I checked out. Air con was dead, just poor service all round. If I could only get my money back let alone acknowledgement of poor services rendered
Stay at 7Pines Hyatt Hotel Ibiza - Not recommending
Disappointed with the service and facilities during my recent stay at 7Pines Hotel Ibiza from July 31 to August 1. Due to the bad experience, my partner and I had to check out one day earlier than planned, on August 1.
Throughout our stay, we faced several issues that ruined our overall satisfaction. Firstly, upon entering our room, we were greeted by a strong smell of dampness, which was very unpleasant. The room itself was small sized and poorly furnished, falling short of the standards expected for its category.
Moreover, the service provided by the staff very poor. The lack of friendliness and basic courtesy was evident, as no staff member even greeted us during our interactions. The breakfast service was particularly disappointing, with staff displaying a lack of attentiveness and professionalism. Instead of addressing our requests promptly, we were met with indifference and attitudes.
Furthermore, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Upon returning to our room after cleaning, we were shocked to find empty bottles from the trash placed AGAIN on the table. Additionally, a spillage of coffee on the bed was not cleaned, lack of good housekeeping.
Overall, the experience at 7Pines Hotel Ibiza is not good at all,the hotel does not deserve its purported star rating. I am deeply disappointed by the level of service and facilities provided and would not recommend this hotel to others based on my experience.
I kindly request that the management team address these concerns promptly and take necessary steps to improve the quality of service and facilities at the hotel.

Bad Experience with Hyatt Regency Perth Stay
I recently had a disappointing experience at Hyatt Regency Perth that I wanted to share with you all. During my stay, I lost some of my belongings in the room after the housekeeping service. To make things worse, I discovered that the cleaner had opened my shopping bag and box without my permission and threw them away after finding them empty. This was a clear violation of my privacy, and I was extremely upset by it.
To add to my disappointment, the hotel management and staff did not provide any initiative solutions to rectify the situation. Furthermore, I did not receive any apology from the beginning of the incident until I left, and it was clear that the hotel management did not show any responsibility or care towards me as a customer. They kept dragging their feet and did not provide an official investigation into the matter.
As travelers, we rely on hotels to provide a safe and secure environment for us, but this experience made me feel like my belongings and privacy were not respected. I hope that the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements to ensure that situations like this do not happen again in the future.

Appalling customer service from the manager and front desk staff member
I share this to warn other travellers of spending their hard-earned money with Hyatt - I will not be returning to their hotels and and urge you to do the same. It simply is not worth the hassle versus other far-better names such as Hilton, Radisson and Marriott (other reviewers have also expressed this hotel is not what it once was).
To summarise our experience: We received appalling customer service from both the manager and member of staff at reception and lost an evening as a result. We had arrived at Hyatt Regency Birmingham in the evening (8:30pm) of 27 January following a long drive in and were placed in a room where towels had been used and the telephone did not work. Returning to reception, I was given new keycards for a different room on the same floor by the same woman who had checked us in (“Mara” I believe?). I was then condescendingly told by Mara that “hopefully there will be no more inconveniences”.
I returned upstairs to find the keycards would not open the door. I then went back down to Mara and was told “the doors are heavy”, I gently explained I understand and had already opened a different door on the same floor. Mara then reprogrammed the cards and said something along the lines of: “If it does not work this time, I will come up with you to open the door”. Deciding to ignore the treatment by Mara, I returned upstairs and found bedside and lamp lights to not work correctly. Frustrated, I tried calling using the telephone and found this did not work either. I then called the desk using my mobile and requested someone look at the issue.
The manager came up and whilst resolved the issue with the lights, refused to offer any kind of solution or empathy in response to the experience we had. Instead, he said “there are other hotels in the area” and suggested to stay the night. I obliged, deciding to cancel the entirety of our stay instead and opted to find another hotel in the area. Moving to AC by Marriott nearby, was a far better experience with the utmost care and respect shown by their customer service team.
I share this in the hope it will help warn other travellers like us, rather then them losing time and money to Hyatt. It certainly left a dent in our plans and we will not be returning.

We attempted to contact them directly and also received no reply.
Spoke to Hyatt UK but they couldn’t help us in regard to Hyatt US.

En plus dès que nous avions réservé en novembre l'hôtel Hyatt Regency sur Expédia quelques jours après l'hôtel nous a envoyé un mail en nous obligeant de payer la soirée de Gala du 31/12/2021 imposée par l'hôtel!
J'appelle Expedia qui me confirme que c'est une obligation et me dit avoir contacté l'hôtel si problème on sera remboursé de la soirée coût supplémentaire 3600 AED soit 900 euros pour 4 personnes!!!
C'est un cas de force majeur et l'hôtel prévenu depuis le 27/12 pour une réservation le 31 au 02/01/2022 REFUSE DE NOUS REMBOURSER!!!

I have visited the Hyatt in Atlanta several times and I have done it enough to tell you if you consider any other hotels please save yourself problems this hotel takes money off your card without you being aware of the transactions and when you call they act like this is a normal process the people at the front desk were very disrespectful and unprofessional and this hotel needs to be under investigation for this particular location the service was bad bad bad bad and I’m from Atlanta so I don’t wanna make my city look bad but this establishment is going to cause a lot of unnecessary friction with costs and maybe even worsts the parking lot is a trap and robbing set up zone that I think employees is tipped off and putting customers in a bad situation

Stayed in the Hyatt Regency in Aqaba. When we booked the listing said we had breakfast included in our executive lounge access. We got there and the receptionist tried to charge us over £100 for breakfast for the three nights we were there. We showed us our listing and she started having a forceful argument with us (arguing with a paying customer in a five star hotel??). The manager of the hotel then sorted it for us. Your customer service advisors online (I dealt with Rebecca S) are even more ruder- she tried to tell me that cookies provided in the lounge were breakfast? I'm sure she doesnt eat triple chocolate cookie for breakfast. On the plus side, the hotel was nice, and Fatima was amazing in the executive lounge- she deserves to be recognised for how good she is at her job.

Due to a administrative error with Trailfinders when we arrived at check in at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney we were treated like common thieves by the day manager Mr Alex Parks he demanded cash from us because my money had not been paid to the Hyatt by Trailfinders otherwise he would not allow us into his hotel we had just flown 9 hours from Singapore and we told to sit in the restaurant and wait I had all the correct paperwork to prove it was paid in full 15 months earlier They only offered us a cup of coffee each I was finally given a room 6 hours later but they still took the cash from my CC I asked him to do me a favour Put some flowers in our room as form of apology as it was a special birthday for my wife in two days time within 1 milly second he said no During our 45 day stay I had to change the door key every day why I have no idea but made to feel violated as I had been scraped off the bottom of his shoes the wardrobe doors fell off twice jamming access to the safe the TV never worked and when it did it broke down twice absolute nightmare I’ve emailed the hotel 4 times to date and so far no response We used the Hyatt brand a lot but this experience has put me off them for life

***Warning!!! An update of my previous post.
If you decide to choose this hotel for your holiday in Vietnam, be very careful during the check-out and doublecheck in your final invoice if the amounts in VND correspond correctly with what you agreed with them in US$. Here’s why: When I returned to my homeland, I noticed that my printed invoice is mistaken. It has been agreed with the hotel’s receptionist that the upgrade cost for 3-bedroom villa will be 350US$ per night. The amounts were listed in VND, and during the check-out, I couldn’t imagine that they do not correspond with the agreed prices in US$. The difference is 50US$ per night, and the total damage is 200US$. On top of that, they put in the invoice my wife’s name instead of mine, although the credit card linked to all payments is on my name and I specifically requested this. The very poor English of all receptionist I talked to might have a good role here. In result, all this was not credited to my Hyatt Loyalty Program account. I wrote them twice asking this to be fixed emailing at danang.regency"at"hyatt.com, on the 13th of Feb and the 15th but there is no reaction. Terrible, terrible check-out experience!

3. The hotel’s taxis/cars are at a reasonable price and are available near the reception 24/7. An app called “Grap” similar to Uber prove to be also very useful.
4. The food in the hotel’s restaurants is not bad, but it is overpriced. The best local meals I ever tested here were in Hoi An’s Riverside
5. If you are not a wind and waves lover, this resort is not for you, but kitesurfers will find here paradise
Initially, we booked the 2-bedroom residence since we are a family with two kids. If you take a look at the hotel’s official website, this one looks like a two-floor villa with a beautiful beach and sea view. In fact, the reality is different. On our arrival, we were given a 2-bedroom room b901, which is on the 9th floor in a giant, high-rise block of flats. It looks like those ugly socialist type of building you can see almost anywhere in Vietnam. You need to be aware that this resort is a windy one, which is quite convenient for kitesurf lovers but in February, when temperatures are around 26-28C, these never-ending winds are not very pleasant, especially if you are on the 9th floor. The front view is not bad, but it’s not for people with vertigo. The rear view is awful – a highway, construction yards, and poverty. If you preferer to walk around the resort by foot, then be warned that everything is far from here – breakfast 5min, beach 6min, restaurants 5-6min, fitness/spa 10min. My advice is, if your only option is the residence, then ask upon your arrival if they have availability in Hotel-E area but try to avoid this 11-floor blocks. If you take a look at my photos, there is a map of the resort for your convenience. Luckily for us, we requested an upgrade, and we moved to a lovely 3-bedroom villa number 15. The upgrade of extra $350/n was quite costly but it worth every penny. If you are taking this accommodation option, insist for a villa next to the beach, cos these, which are “2nd line” are right at the pedestrian paths and soon you will get to know everyone. The beach is fantastic with fine sand almost like dust, and when you go for a swim, you can enjoy a long and gradually descending seafloor. However, be prepared for all-day-long winds which are not too strong but if you are in the shadow and wet you risk getting a cold. The sea is warm enough to stay in the water as much as you want, but you need to know that there are waves all the time. In fact, I’ve never seen this beach with calm waters. The resort is inhabited with mostly Japanese 80%, 10% locals and Chinese and very few US/Europe guys and I didn’t see singles, mostly families with small children.
To summarize, if you are visiting Da Nang, Hyatt is an excellent choice compared to the rest of the hotels I’ve seen nearby. Only InterContinental Peninsula is I think better, but it’s also much more expensive. For dining I would recommend Hoi-An’s riverside restaurants... honestly, I traveled a lot, but I never tasted such fantastic food. I also risked eating the street food, since I had a suitcase full of gastro-pills, but surprisingly nothing had happened, and the food was super delicious. Have a wonderful time and enjoy your trip!

Theft of money and disgusting treatment from hotel
Booked a stay with my family at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Birmingham, which was booked and pre-payed for through an online booking site. A week later I discovered they had taken 176.00 from my credit card to pay for a night's stay which had already been paid for and when addressed on the issue over the phone, they were rude, unhelpful and it took threatening to call the police to be taken seriously with regards to resolving the issue-disgusting treatment of guests.
DON'T TRUST HYATT REGENCY'S RATE GUARANTEE
I booked 2 rooms on the Hyatt Regency website, which has a rate guarantee that they offer the lowest price on the web (and promises to honour the lower advertised price and a credit worth an additional 20% of the difference in price). I found a better room for the same hotel (at the same hotel) at another hotel booking site and filed a claim with Hyatt Regency. Hyatt first gave me the run around and then, after 3 emails, said the room on the other website wasn't exactly the same as the one I reserved with them (IT WAS A BETTER ROOM!!!). DON'T BELIEVE THE RATE GUARANTEE AT HYATT REGENCY.
