Just Purchased a Nexus 5 bundle in the sale and am quite impressed with the quality of the sounds. There are negative reviews about it's sound design capabilities but there are enough editing possibilities to produce unique textures. I really like the immediacy of the plugin, the quick loading time and exeptional useability of the presets. I also purchased some additional sound expansions, focusing on the more generic packs such as studio production, vintage synths etc rather than the more genre specific packs. I also went all out and purchased the two Hollywood instrument bundles. With such A combination I believe it is possible to span a lot of different music styles and even do a little film soundtrack composition if that is your thing. This VST is also very CPU light so it is possible to run many instances without taxing your system. Great for evolving pad sounds, punchy basses Vintage synths and despite the fact that they don't use vast ammounts of hard drive space, the Orchestral sounds are some of the best I have come accross. Though the initial cost may be prohibitive I would highly recommend Nexus 5 better still if you can get it during the discounted sales.

Before purchasing NEXUS 5 I contacted customer service about technical questions regarding how the synth would perform within my DAW and version of computer. I got a comprehensive, polite response in under 12 hours. Very pleased. I promptly purchased the synth as well as one of the EDM expansion packs. Highest quality, smart, and sleek synth with some iconic presets I have heard distinctly in many popular edm tracks. No clue why people are dissatisfied with reFX.

Wow... Just adding to the terrible experiences you all had. Tried the software and it's not what I expected. Only a rude denial of refund. Never had such experience with any company from outside EU. So rude!

They blocked the account with the license I purchased. Don't buy their products. It's a scam disguised as fighting for peace.

I bought nexus 5 for £253 i installed it played around with it then 2 days later my account was blocked 🚫 the customer service team said I broke the terms and agreement they gave me no reason I asked for my money back and then said because of our terms of agreements we can not

I recently purchase one of the packages they sale, but I couldn’t used because I was needing to purchase the actual plugins ( Nexus) no where else was saying you should first buy the plugin to use the packaged. I contact the company to request my refund. The company who is charge of the payments is reFX said in the policy they can only refund the 90% of the purchased. They said is specify, my point is when you going to buy not where else said or display in your basket that they will only refund the 90%. Im completely sure most people won’t even try to buy any kind of plugin if after you don’t like and want the full amount of the purchased. Everywhere you have free trial period. By the law you have 14 days to cancel and order and get your refund.
I highly not recommend to buy any plugin by this website. Shame of this kind of policy you should display on the basket so everywhere is aware. I open by PayPal a complaint there was not any kind of help and nothing to agree by this company. I cancel the complaint because they couldn’t issue my refund while I have open the complaint in PayPal . But I told Adam who been dealing with my refund request I will write as a consumer my review here so everyone is aware of this shame policy for the consumer. Shame of you.

I honestly bought a Nexus, libraries for it, and I was just blocked because of my nationality (without being able to refund the money). If this isn't scam, so give me a definition,damn.. hehe ;dd I sympathize with everyone who was affected by this problem, 90% of all my projects were simply disrupted. Using the Nexus is too dangerous because these guys hate common sense, where are the guarantees that in the future they won't ban those who like to eat meat and dont want to be a vegetarian?

Je suis satisfait de la suite reFX Nexus 5 qui est actuellement proposé, il y a eu des mises à jours qui ont apportés beaucoup de correctifs, bien que je n'avais pas constaté de bugs dès sa sortie, le plugins est tout simplement exceptionnel, il fonctionne à la fois sous Windows et MacOS, avec le peu de latence possible et ne sollicite pas beaucoup de ressources de l'ordinateur. Le service après vente est au top !

l'expérience avec ReFX suite à un contact avec le support client s'est très bien passé encore une fois, je suis satisfait de l'échange que nous avons eu et de la promesse tenue.
Je le recommanderai toujours très vivement auprès des néophytes ou même des producteurs, c'est un très bel outil, j'avais opté pour Nexus 5 et Vanguard 2, qui sont parfaitement adapté pour mes besoins.
Les prix me semblent très compétitive et très intéressante, d'autant que Nexus est maintenu à jour régulièrement, tirant le produit vers le meilleurs de lui même à chaque mise à jour, il ne consomme pas beaucoup de ressource et est très fluide, donc peu de latence, c'est tout ce que je demandais à un plugins de haute qualité.

Compré un plugin de Nexus online, luego me di cuenta de que no podía funcionar por si mismo, sino que tenías que comprar el Nexus 4 para que funcionase, y que ese plugin de percusión era una especie de expansión. Obviamente pedí un reembolso porque de gastarme 60 euros que valía el plugin comprando el Nexus 4 la cifra ascendía 400 euros más. Bueno pues me dicen que solo me reembolsan el 90% y se quedan el 10% por la cara. He comprado instrumentos VST en un montón de empresas: Spitfire, Cinesamples, EW, Native...etc. y nunca he tenido ningún problema en este sentido, si he comprado algo que no he podido utilizar enseguida me han hecho el reembolso completo del importe. Asique habiendo un millón de empresas que venden plugins VST no compraré ni uno en Nexus. Ni lo recomiendo.

I am a citizen of Ukraine. Before the war started, I bought a license with a Russian card because I was working in Russia. After the war began, I left Russia permanently. This company blocked my license, and it's impossible to contact support or reach them in any way. I consider this company to be fraudulent! I will never buy anything from them again, and I have lost my money!

I had an issue with missing sounds. Turned out it was user error (me)! I had not downloaded all the factory presets. Adam from support was very helpful and patient. I think we exchanged over 16 messages to resolve the problem. For me the product is what I was looking for. I give it 5 stars

The software is not worth the price. the sound are horrible and low quality. Dont waste your money dont buy nexus this. Is really not worth 1 cent. There are betters software like native kontakt and omnisphere... worst client support. Stay far

Amazing plugin. The sounds that come with it are already really good, but the best sounds of nexus are in the expansions. The EDM and trance expansions are my favorite. Absolutely love this rompler, use it in every project.
Personally never had an issue with customer service and I've contacted them several times with inquiries. Illegal License sharing/selling and plugin piracy has become a huge problem in the online world which is why I suppose some of you have had a bad experience.
If they see your name and plugin license registered on the system I don't see any reason why they'd treat you like a criminal, what would they possibly have to gain from blocking users. All in all, I would recommend this plugin to anyone interested in a synth. Listen to the demos before letting any reviews turn you off from this product, it's really awesome.

Learn how to treat your customers and learn how to APPRECIATE the people who are paying extortionate prices which keeps you in business

If your a customer DO NOT log in from many places. You'll get blocked as they are so afraid you are sharing your account. As a producer I work mobile and in many different places with different networks.

Don't expect to be treated like a paying customer by their 'customer service' instead expect to be treated like a waste of time and a criminal

Make sure to not make more than a few support requests, my friend got banned for submitting "too many support requests" just three in a year. Yes I wish I was making this up

Also if your country has political issues, don't buy this product

It is not a subscription, your paying a huge amount for a product, they'll ban you and you'll loose access to what you've paid full price for

Just use Spire by reveal sound. They have loads of presets and know how to treat customers.

Customer service clearly is horrible, How can you block people from russia? They have BOUGHT the software? I am totally against what the govermnet there are doing, but you cannot ban someone from a product they have bought! It is not a subscription it is a Product!

I have also read many horriffic stories on some other forums about Michael.! I have also read if you login from many places your account will be Blocked. and to use Nexus it has to be linked to an online account!

For a Subscription fair enough, but to spend a ridicilous amount of money in one go on a piece of software? Absolute Joke and discrace to producers and music. I will not invest a dime into software that firstly can be taken away from me after paying full price, Blocked for valid reason, and treated like crap by customer service who have no appreciation for paying customers!

Stay away from reFX and Michael Hartmann. They don't deserv to have customers. Extremely rude support, I even gave them advice how to troubleshoot a technical problem. DO NOT BUY REFX PRODUCTS.

I bought Nexus 4 and made a duplicate payment via Paypal. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I could only get 90 percent refund by customer agent Adam. The reason was, they were being charged for cancellations by their payment partner. I naturally disagreed and told them that I will cancel both products then, because of the attitude I received. Guess what? I was told my action was fraud. Yeap, Fraud :) And they will report me to my credit card provider. Can you believe? No matter how good a product is, if the customer service is rude, they will not make a penny out of me...

refx Nexus massively blocked the accounts of Russian users who purchased licenses from them and are not involved in military operations in any way. I consider it a fraud.

They openly support the Nazis in Ukraine! They need to be judged!
