I came to Reed at a time where I was looking for work, feeling pretty low in confidence of my abilities and just generally a bit worn down of the daily grind. Lisa in the temp recruitment team sorted me straight out and got me temp work at Reed, no less! In their property helpdesk team. The team were lovely, super helpful and it was great to actually get to meet Lisa Nichols, tell her what I was looking for in the long term and actually get back into the world of work. I've not had much experience of recruiters, but Lisa and the team at Reed were so helpful, professional and generally friendly that I couldn't ask for a better temping experience & grateful for the interviews they help me set up and the network connections I've made along the way. I was set up so quickly, with the IT team onboarding me and giving me all the tech, logins and general start up training I needed, which Lisa also oversaw Thanks so much for all your help. I finish my temp job with them today, the transition has been smooth, and I am ready to back into the world of full-time work.

Ever since I had my first meeting with Cameron in January 2024, I always got the impression - and I wasn't proved wrong - that the Reed Recruitment Consultants always took the time to find out what roles you were looking for and where you hoped to go in the future. I've been very fortunate as my first role as a Finance Administrator got me back into an office where I picked up my skills and gained more experience after having a career break. My second placement, thanks to Linda Allaway, was exactly what I was looking for, a Purchase Ledger role in a busy and fast paced office environment, which I loved every moment of. I'm pleased to say that after 3 months temping, the firm offered me a permanent position which I start next month. Looking forward to it and thank you again to everyone at Reed Recruitment.

I have never met such a disorganised, non-caring organisation. They don't reply to emails, say they've read a CV and then send vacancies that are nothing at all to do with experience shown on the CV. Totally, totally useless.

I receive regular emails from ppl whose title is business manager but apparently they do not bother checking where candidate live and how far the position is.
I am always offered position that are 150 miles + away.
What is the point?

Connor S. has been absolutely fantastic! I’ve now been working with him for 4 years and he’s helped me get work through my degree and now as a graduate! He’s friendly, knowledgable, and really accommodates you with what you’re looking for in a job. He coached me before an interview that secured me a position in a fantastic company. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I have been working at Reed for about a year. My consultant Safah is very kind, friendly and co-operative. She provides me with opportunity to provide one-to-one tuition online/ at near by schools that are accessible conveniently. Safah has always been supportive and helpful. Highly recommend this company for Supply teaching/one-to-one tuition.

If I could leave zero stars for the Cardiff office I would. I advised my 19 year old son to go and register with them to try and get help in finding a job. His first experience was just a big fob off and they were not interested in helping at all. Finally managed to speak to someone who was a little more helpful and told him to send his details and CV to a co worker in the office. From then on nothing,no call , no emails NO contact. I wrote to the head office to advise that this office were not doing the basic requirements of the job they are being paid to do and got a swift reply to say they would investigate. One person from the Cardiff Branch contacted my son to say that his role was for more specialised roles and thats it. After over a month the only contact was to say I cant help. Reed Recruitment used to be the best the one you went to first one you could trust but your Cardiff Office has let you done immensely and I will never recommend or use Reed Recruitment again.
