Don't waste your precious time and money
I would like to state first, that I believe Recovery Coaching as a profession is an asset in the recovery world, the open non-judgmental approach is absolutely essential.
However, my experience with this program and the individuals delivering it. The material was biased and full of ego. (which in theory could have been addressed and updated) But highly doubtful since it was entirely ego driven. The level of unprofessionalism was staggering.
When it came to following through with "certification" (that was promised to everyone ) for anyone who took the course with these two men when it was Recovery Coaches Alberta, emails would be ignored, or just not responded to. Phone calls not returned. Students left without answers and nothing to show for their commitment and time invested in the program.
Don't be fooled by fancy titles!
Do your research on the organizations and individuals that you are investing in for your education and future success.
Compared to other CACCF approved options out there for recovery coach training!
I would highly recommend other quality organizations for ANYONE looking to level up their Recovey Coaching skills!
I am currently a CCRC!
