Was concerned about delivery of a boxed set as some sellers send these as are with no protection. This site dose NOT disappoint.
Would highly recommend and happy to shop from them in the future knowing my precious vinyl will arrive in excellent condition.

The customer service experience was truly disappointing! Despite numerous emails about my order, all I receive are generic responses. The live chat feature is completely useless! The only communication option is email, yet they seem to ignore the actual problem.

I was a bit hesitant to order after reading some of the reviews on here, but my experience was actually really positive. I placed my order on Sunday and the records arrived Wednesday morning, which I was pleasantly surprised by.
Everything was well packaged and exactly as described. I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience, but based on this order the service was quick and straightforward. I’d happily order again.

Tried to order two vinyls in their sale but the offer would only apply to one. Took over a week to get a response, but eventually ordered two vinyls at the end of November. It took over two weeks for them to arrive, and they were both damaged. It took another week, and several chaser emails, to get a return confirmed. I returned the order and could see from tracking that these were delivered back to Recordstore on 22nd December. I heard nothing for weeks, until I chased them for the refund, to which I was told they had until 14th January to scan it in (which seems completely unreasonable considering that's more than 14 working days, which they state on their website). On 15th Jan I contacted them again and they finally sent the refund. Two months of back and forth and constant chasing for nothing - an absolute time waste and a joke. To top it off, I asked for their complaints procedure as this was unacceptable, and they don't have one. I'll never buy from Recordstore, Polydor or Universal Music again - shocking. No interest whatsoever in the customer.

Atrocious customer service. I placed an order on 22 November 2025 which was needed for a birthday gift early December. I received no updates on shipping and contacted customer services who gave repeatedly vague replies over several days. I asked to cancel the order when the birthday had passed and was told this was not an option as the order was being "processed" and would be with me within 5 days. It was not. I kept asking updates and getting vague answers and was told there was no way to complain. I finally disputed the payment with Monzo for lack of delivery.
The order randomly turned up 3 weeks after it was ordered. I returned it immediately the next day as the birthday has been and gone and I had bought a replacement gift. The payment dispute with Monzo was closed. I received no refund or communication from Recordstore and contacted them on 6 January 2026 to provide proof of delivery and ask when my refund would be processed. After a lot of back and forth, Recordstore confirmed they would not provide the refund until Shopify closed the dispute from their end and told me to contact Shopify myself if I want to known when this might be. I have explained to Recordstore twice that Shopify will not speak to me as they are its customer, not me, and asking them for help. I get one-line responses telling me to just "wait", with no explanation on timescales, what exactly I am waiting for, or if I will even get a refund when the "wait" is finally over.
I am at my wits end. I have no contract with Shopify and have no way to make them close the dispute. The only companies I have any contract with is Monzo and Recordstore, who seem to have decided to keep my money despite knowing my order was returned over a month ago. I am on maternity leave and cannot afford to be without this money when I ultimately had to replace the gift anyway, not the mention the unnecessary stress this has caused at a very difficult time. The customer service agent I have been dealing with has been vague and unhelpful despite me begging for help for 2 months.
My order was returned and I have provided proof of delivery. There is nothing more I can do and I just want my refund.
EDIT: further to Recordstore's reply below, Monzo have made it abundantly clear that the dispute is entirely closed from their end and that they do not understand why I am not being refunded. This is not an answer.

Placed an order for an item that was in stock on the 1st December and after 3 weeks of waiting and hearing nothing back I decided to email them, which initially I had no response from and after emailing again and having to deal with the automated response each time, on the 22nd December I finally received a email with a tracking number which said the order was still with the sender. It is now into the following month and it still says it’s with the sender

Amended a problem with my order fairly quickly, their customer service team were quick to respond via email and were very understanding and empathetic. Talked me through returning the vinyl and sent me a replacement all within a week or so

Absolutely awful customer service! I have sent several emails regarding an order and keep being sent standard blurbs. Live chat does not work at all!!!!
There is no way to contact apart from via email which they don’t even bother reading the issue

Created an order on the 30th of November. Included a pre release title released on 5th of December. Checked that this would still mean my item would arrive before christmas. Apparently pre releases are dispatched within 48 hours of release and the last guaranteed order date for christmas is the 11th of December. Thought that should work perfectly.
Now the 16th. Nothing. No dispatch at all. 11 days post release. I popped a query across to customer services and got a nothing response that did nothing to answer my queries in any way "we're currently experiencing a high volume of orders" probably copy and pasted and no check on my order at all. Very unlikely by this point my order will arrive by Christmas. You'd have thought shopping in November would give plenty of time for shipping and delivery. Apparently not.

Ordered online and paid for special delivery 24hr tracked. Over a week after and my order is still being processed. I have chased this up a few times with customer service and they just say it's being processed at our warehouse. No help to chase this up or give me a time scale. I'm now asking for a refund due to the lack of assistance and care. I will update this review depending on that response.

Still not received item yet has been dispatched. 24hr delivery even after being dispatched dosn't happen.
Again I would reiterate if items being ordered are going to take time to post out then customers should be given time scales. If I had know it was going to take this long I would of gone somewhere else which is probably why even if your item is in stock according to the website they don't give accurate dispatch dates.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!
They advertise discounts on items which don’t apply correctly, then don’t honour them when requesting through their “support”.
Despite stating a 5-7 day shipping time, my item had not shipped by day 11 (hoping to have my order cancelled, but I’m doubtful they’ll process that correctly either!)
Their “support” teams are only available via Email, at which point you may be graced with a totally useless response 3 days later, so good luck with getting help with any of the issues above if you have them!
SAVE YOUR MONEY, SHOP ELSEWHERE!

Similar to the recent experiences of others, I placed an order on the 5th December and was informed today (14th) that the order is currently being processed for shipment. I hold little hope of receiving the 2x 7" singles I'd ordered in time for xmas. Regardless of the outcome of this order, I will buy elsewhere in future.

Order not received nor any response. I ordered on the 5th December and still haven't had confirmation of any delivery a week later. I have contacted them via the online form and still no response. Going to do a chargeback on my card and order elsewhere. Must be a scam site!

Ordered on Black Friday, into the second week since and no update on the shipment, still showing as "preparing shipment" and very poor communication from their customer support team. Was told someone was looking into this and will get back to me shortly with no update since. Order #RS166344

Ordered a record on a Friday morning (December 5th) for a gig I had on Saturday.
Paid extra postage for 'Next Day Delivery' and emailed them along with the order to say please can it be sent that day as I needed it for Saturday.
By Tuesday, I hadn't still received the record. Emailed them to say I hadn't received my record and got a reply saying it is `Being Processed'.
I replied saying fair enough, these things happen, but can I have a refund for the extra I paid for 'Next Day Delivery'.
I got a reply saying No, because it means next day delivery from when they send the record and they havn't even sent it yet.
So, from my experience, 'Next Day Delivery', doesn't mean Next Day Delivery, and I also sensed very little regard for any kind of customer service/satisfaction/resolution from this company.
1 star from me.
