I was very fortunate to be introduced to Raymond James via Tom Moloney, and I have to say that it was one of the best financial decisions I have ever made. As a CFO by profession, I was conscious that my pension portfolio was vastly under performing, and I met with Tom and he convinced me to give Raymond James a try. The results have been staggering as my portfolio value has grown by a large percentage sum, and this is principally down to the high level of attention to detail and the meticulous planning that has gone into my portfolio, whereby Tom carefully selected investments according to my risk weighted, but moreover he has risk managed and monitored them very closely on a monthly basis, and is always in touch with various reports and recommended investment choices for my consideration and review. I cannot recommend Tom Moloney and Raymond James Financial Investments highly enough, and would encourage anyone to give this excellent service a try.

One of their employees treats people very poorly. Do not recommend

Totally dishonest company. Repeatedly asking for countless additional fees. No transparency. Promising instant payout after one final payment - only to keep coming up with another hidden payment. I lost a fortune to this scam company. Must be avoided at all cost!

Whether the market goes up or down, the “advisors” still make money. That seems to be their primary concern

Unless you are skilled enough to not be taken advantage of, you probably would want to not deal with Raymond James.

My experience was over the course of the last 4-5 years.

If you question them they get hostile or passive aggressive.

I lost a great deal of money based on their decisions. I have since educated myself.

There are many other qualified and trustworthy professionals who offer the same services, who seek to inform and educate clients and help them succeed.

Financial advisor failed to disclose a 7-year lock on an annuity he talked me into investing in. Had I know about the 7-year lock I would not have ok'd it. This is the kind of stuff that gives brokers a bad name.

My account manage in Raymond James Canada is Garry Shawn deWitt - this guy is white collar criminal. He manipulates me, threats me and does not allow me to access my money. This company never made me feel like I worth something and now it is the worst experience ever as they lock my funds and will not release it. Please stay away from them.

My experience with Raymond James Financial Services fell significantly short of what I expected from a professional financial management company.
While they initially seemed attentive when I inherited an annuity that needed to be distributed over five years, their actual service delivery was disappointing. Despite paying management fees, I received no structured distribution plan for my annuity, no tax planning advice regarding these withdrawals, and no strategic guidance about using these funds toward my stated short term goals or emergent needs.

The breaking point came when I requested a simple withdrawal from my annuity. Despite providing all necessary documentation (which Lincoln Financial later confirmed was sufficient), I had to contact Lincoln Financial directly myself to process this basic transaction. When I asked my advisor about this, I received technical jargon about annuity complexities rather than actual assistance.

When I expressed my disappointment and intention to change advisors, they attempted to leverage my emotional connection to my late grandmother (who had established the account) rather than addressing the service deficiencies. This felt particularly inappropriate and unprofessional.

Upon receiving my concerns in writing, they immediately resigned as broker/dealer rather than addressing any of the service issues I'd raised.
I would not recommend Raymond James to anyone seeking personalized financial guidance, particularly for inherited accounts or annuity management. They collect fees without providing the level of service these fees should command.

Poor customer service. No people skills. Was actually my fathers advisor for many years. When we called him to tell my father had passed away. He replied with “bummer”.
This was after we had left messages and emails about him passing. We transferred advisors based on that interaction.

My Financial Advisor, Brianna Beski, Co. Springs Office, goes above and beyond, ensuring that she stays in touch reviews my portfolio and helps me make good decisions for my upcoming retirement. She takes ample time to explain things to me. She provides amazing educational workshops from Trust to Divorce. She reviewed my trust and answered all my questions. She even helped direct me on how to apply for my SSI widow benefits. She is absolutely the best Financial advisor I have worked with and I highly recommend her.

Unfortunately my FIL died and he had his money with Raymond James(Fulton Bank MD) I wish I could say one good thing about them,, but it would be a straight out fabrication. HORRIBLE service. Didnt answer emails, took forever to get anything done. Seems like they were really clueless. We couldn't get our money out of their hands fast enough!!! SERIOUSLYwnated ot get it out but difficult to get it out!!

More than 3 years down the line I still have negative ROI and it’s not improving. Of all the investments I have Raymond James is by far the worst performing of them all

My advisor Peter Anderson an honest hard working Montana born and raised Ranch kid, college football player,college graduate, hard working , focused human being who has made my experience with Raymound James thus far exceedingly positive over other investment firms I have worked with over the last 30 years. I look forward to his help securing my financial future into and thru retirement.

Consistently Terrible customer service. I have had disappointing experiences with their team at nearly every level. I set up an account that was meant to be invested and half the money I contributed is just sitting around in a cash account earning nothing. My advisor left the brokerage and I was notified after the fact. No one even bothered calling me, the advisor who (presumably) took over my account never contacted me in any meaningful way nor was I given any assistance or support in choosing someone to work with to replace my original advisor.
I have been given poor advice on technical issues as well that has led to double the work/effort on my part and just appears to be that my advisor contact couldn't be bothered to read my full question before responding. There is no kindness or courtesy in the dealings either. I'd rather keep my money under a mattress than deal with the team here.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!! Treat your money as their own. Refuses to listen. Basically flushed my money down the toilet on a daily.

I really trust my adviser and he explained everything carefully. Performance has been strong and I feel my pension is in safe hands.

I thought I could sit back and let them take care of my stock portfolio. I was wrong. In two years I'm down 20%. The statements they provide and the tools on their website don't make it easy to see how much they're losing. When I was done with them I asked how much did I transfer in and how much did I take out. I never got an answer.

My mother and now I ,have trusted Raymond James with our investments and are completely satisfied with the integrity, advice, and sound investments of our portfolio at Raymond James.
