Absolutely shocking service that Alan Johnston most likely from Raymond Beer & Co does! If i could i would give -100**!! So we where buying a property since mid of September and they where used on behalf of the seller. After 6months since we introduced our solicitor to this company and when all paperwork is ready, searches, draft documents etc and exchange should be happening we find out that this company is working on 2 agencies at the same time and selling the property we meant to buy to another buyer on other agency without informing us( buyers) neither the agency that seller has signed to sell and neither our solicitors. Now after 6months time we receive email that property is been sold to another buyer and thats just a shocking disgusting service that they could do! Now they ignore our solicitor email and calls aswell as the agency who advertised the property for sale leaving us with 2 children in a middle of nothing! We now haven to rent something instead so we do not delay a buyer of our property which is ready for exchange. Its just insane how they have treated us and i really wish them to happen worse than for us in return especially for the one who is responsible doing this under law. At least they would have a bit of common sense and inform us or our solicitors that property is being sold through 2 agencies at the same time so we could find alternatives. I would really recomend to stay away as much as possible from this company and dont even bother to buy property if they are acting on the sale as you might get in the same mess and frustration as they have put us with 2 little children who have also lost a space in a good school as of their unlawful carelessness and sense of humanity. And now we will have to do all the process and waste extra money , time and stress because of their illegal action acting on 2parties buying same property without any explanation. Just stay away from this company there loads of other solicitors firms who are fair and do their job well.

Terrible service, lack of communication. Attempted to use them when buying our first home. We received the documents from them, completed them, and returned them promptly, then spent weeks chasing for updates only to be ignored by email and then reassured by phone that the solicitor had received the emails and that the receptionist 'assumed' the solicitor would 'probably' respond... they did not.

Over a month after we returned the documents the solicitor finally replied, only to say that they had not received the documents.

The estate agent then informed us that as Raymond Beer had done nothing in the month since our offer was accepted that the vendor wanted to remarket the property.

Fortunately after agreeing to change to a different firm we were able to salvage the deal and buy the house.

Cannot believe just how unprofessional and unconcerned Raymond Beer were with everything. Avoid!!

Terrible service. They sent confidential documents regarding the sale of a property to a random address without checking if the address was correct. I wasn't receiving emails from them regarding completion and when i informed them of this issue they kept sending the same email which i explained i did not receive, rather than checking with me about sending it to another address. Unable to reach anyone on the phone due to COVID?! When i complained about the awful service, i was told rather arrogantly that "we do not make mistakes".............i beg to differ!!! awful way to deal with a client.

Stacey at Ramond Beer was extremely helpful, professional and efficient when I sold a house last year. We are looking to sell another house with Raymond Beer and also purchase a property too

Absolutely fantastic service from beginning to end! I called to make a new instruction, the paperwork was received within 30 mins, and the rest of the service was exactly the same!
John and Fleur made everything very easy, and I cannot fault them or the service, and normally I have a huge problem with Conveyancing Solicitors and the level of service they give...
Good Solicitors are very hard to find, they're like gold dust as far as I am concerned, but these guys were just superb!
Definitely would recommend and will definitely use again!
