Cancellation and deposit policies are stated clearly under each listing. I misread a policy once due to formatting, but support clarified it immediately.

In an unfortunate turn of events, upon arriving at the villa we had rented through RateHawk in Florida, we discovered that it deviated significantly from our expectations. The villa advertised as having a heated pool, but unfortunately, the pool pump was malfunctioning, resulting in dirty & freezing water. Additionally, the property was not adequately maintained, and the most pressing issue was the absence of a clean pool, which was particularly disappointing since my children from the United Kingdom had eagerly anticipated using it daily.
Upon noticing the pool within five minutes of our arrival, we promptly contacted RateHawk, who responded swiftly and informed us that the pump would be repaired shortly. It took 7 days to be fixed and pool was getting dirtier. My children could not use it which was upsetting for everyone.
I ask RateHawk to move us upon arriving but they said they couldn’t ! I told them It’s false advertisement & I paid for a villa and pool not just villa.
RateHawk eventually said that they booked the villa for me through a different company & that company would not move us or give us compensation so it was out of their hands! RateHawk offered me 60 points in credit! That doesn’t even cover a night in a hotel so I refused!
I asked the owner of the property who he rents his villa through and he said Expedia portal!
So not really sure what RateHawks role is or why they advertise properties as they have no power in helping if anything goes wrong.
All really upsetting as this had been a dream holiday.
I would advice not using this company as they can’t help you if anything goes wrong

I made a reservation and the hotel said it was cancel due to the time it was made, I was there for 2 hours and no solutions, I have got my money back or a new hotel, they don’t answer calls or messages, terrible service it’s not the first time.

We booked a transfer from Osaka, Tokyo to the Hilton Osaka. Our flight was from Los Angeles. We texted the driver once we landed and not quite at the gate saying we have arrived. The driver advised he was waiting. We texted once we were off the plane and going to immigration. We told the driver there was a very long line in immigration, kept them updated as we moved through, but ultimately it took 70 minutes to finish. Told the driver we had our luggage as they were waiting for us. We had the luggage in hand and the driver said they could not wait any longer. The fine print in this purchase says they will wait 90 minutes. It was now 93 minutes and they wouldn’t wait any longer. This company left us high and dry with no solution and took our money. Do not use this company when traveling internationally because delays are caused by others, immigration for example, and they would not compensate us at all! Very poor customer service!
I did reach out to customer support. They said the driver could not wait any longer than 90 minutes so they would not compensate us in any way. Unsatisfactory to us as we were just a few minutes beyond the 90!

Der Transfer für unsere sehr wichtigen Kunden fand nicht statt, was auch per Mail bestätigt wurde. Nach 3 Wochen gibt es immer noch kein Geld zurück und die Antworten sind einfach nur frech. Wir haben alles schriftlich und jetzt wird behauptet, unser Kunde wäre nicht da gewesen, obwohl der Fahrer wohl in einen Unfall verwickelt war. I registered on this platform over two weeks and was later denied access, however I have been reaching out to the account managers who are yet to respond to me.
When reaching out to customer service directly I keep getting the same automated message, that my account manager has been contacted and I will be updated. This is of no use to me as I have been stock in one position with no proper communication.

I cannot stress more than enough to complain that after trying to communicate with one of the accounting managers Neda how ignorant she really is. After I expressed thoroughly how I needed response she would come back with same copy and paste email.

After registration I was ultimately deregistered and reaching out seemed to hit stonewall and a dose of ignorance where the team don’t respond to your queries promptly . Even did meet the critera and expressed that with zero response. I’m in making of a new travel agency business and their attitude is abhorrent and ignorant towards me. Seems as if they don’t want me on the platform. AVOID AVOID.

NO RESERVÉIS A TRAVÉS DE RATEHAWK. Ellos trabajan con Expedia y NO SE HACEN RESPONSABLES DE SUS ERRORES. Tendrás que hacerte responsable tú como agencia.
Preguntamos sobre servicios incluidos en una reserva y responder por responder, sin informarse bien. Mis clientes llegaron al hotel y tuvieron que pagar 290€ porque no incluyeron al niño en la reserva + 100€ de bebidas que, según RateHawk, estaban incluidas. Nosotros hemos tenido que hacer el reembolso al cliente y Ratehawk se ha lavado las manos. NO nos reembolsan el dinero pese a que el error es suyo y tenemos TODO por escrito. Ahora tenemos que enfrentarnos a denuncias antes la OCU y ante la vía legal...
Por favor, CUIDADO, son unos estafadores

I received an email from our account manager, Camela, around 48 hours after posting our review regarding RateHawk’s services. What’s concerning is that we had already checked out from the hotel 24 hours before they even began investigating the issue.
Our account manager claimed that we posted the review before they had a chance to investigate, which raises serious concerns—especially since our agency has consistently received 5 out of 5 ratings. I personally started wondering why we hadn’t received any negative feedback before. But this experience makes me think that if something like this happened to another UK-based travel agency, it could seriously damage their reputation.
Therefore, I strongly advise against booking with RateHawk if you care about protecting your brand and credibility.

The booking platform is good but I am not sure they are vetting their suppliers for transfer service properly. This is in regards to order number 418743147 for a transfer on 6/29/25 from the hotel to BCN airport. The transfer supplier in Barcelona, Spain came with a small car for my clients for their hotel to airport transfers and left them to take a taxi because the 4 suitcases could not fit. I ordered Business MPV+ which was supposed to be a vehicle big enough to accommodate 3 passengers with 4 suitcases which was stated in the reservation and paid for. According to the order description, the vehicle should have been Mercedes GL, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon or a similar one. The driver came with a small car and told them that he could not fit the suitcases so they had to take a taxi on their own. I responded to the Rate Hawk Transfer department by email since 6/29 and attached the vouchers, texted conversations and the taxi receipt. Two weeks later I reached out to Support from my dashboard and then again on 7/26 by email and dashboard. And for something that should be a straight forward refund, one month later is still unresolved. A part of the response I received from Support after the standard line of apology stated "Unfortunately, as a transfer service, we act as an intermediary between the partner and the carrier, and cannot independently make decisions or assign compensation without the consent of the carrier." As the travel agent I paid RateHawk for a service that was not provided and documentation was sent including text messages between the supplier and my client and an email from the transfer supplier to Ratehawk Transfer Department stating that they could not provide the service because the vehicle could not accommodate the 4 suitcases. RateHawk can see in their system where the vehicle type ordered was Business MPV+ for 3 passengers and 4 suitcases. So it is difficult for me to understand why this investigation is taking a month and more. Now, I have to take a lost and refund my client the $64.63 that was paid for the service and hope that RateHawk refunds me.

The worst supplier and bedbank to deal with, any small matter can take hours and days to be resolved, mostly useless operations team and very rude key accounts managers.

Llevo UN MES reclamando unos miseros 30 euros de un pasajero que no quieren reembolsar, le dijeron a mi pasajera en destino que su traslado NO ESTABA CONFIRMADO y la pasajera abonó un traslado adicional de 30 euros el cual NO LE QUIEREN REEMBOLSAR.
