Great Supplier
Reasonably priced, especially on some of the bargain deals. Very quick delivery, well packed and supported. Cut to convenient lengths/sizes. Rapid Metals are my go to supplier, I live in a rural area where the main steel merchants won't deliver to, so Rapid Metals are a lifeline to my small business.

Good Service, but Size Inconsistencies
I really appreciated how easy it was to order custom-sized plates. However, the plates weren’t quite square, with size variations of up to 2 millimetres. Delivery time and pricing were good, but the inconsistency in sizes was a bit disappointing.

We do state on our FAQ's that sheet metal is cut to a tolerance of +2mm but I'm sorry if that didn't meet your expectations. We would always advise you to let us know if you have a tight tolerance. Good value, good service.
Staff were very helpful when I decided to change my order, and were responsive when I asked for material certificates. Material was slightly damaged in transit, so could have been better packed.

Great Price, Great Range & Great Service
Have been using Rapid Metals for a few months now. As a hobby engineer I often need small lengths of various metals for projects and Rapid will do this no problem, great when you need something like a 100mm of bronze round bar but can't justify the expense of a meter length, buy what you need only. Prices are good and they supply a great range of materials. Shipping is always quick and fuss free. They are my first port of call now and I would likely only buy elsewhere if for some reason they didn't have what I need, which has not happened yet.
