CertiFly App for Android doesn't work.

TrustPilot makes me give a minimum of one star.

CertiFly App for android devices is not certified by the Play Store and so must be installed with security options turned off and from "Unknown Source"! It's not difficult or costly for Randox to register their app properly. Shoddy work!

Then when you come to register as a user it asks to scan the photo page of your passport, which it might recognise as being valid passport, but it then insists that you scan the front. If you've ever used your passport and the front is in anyway worn then forget it. It wont scan or be recognised. So then you're stuck. The app won't progress beyond that point, you can't then use it to pass your test results to Randox.

There are no menu options when you call the customer services team for the CertiFly App (too many complaints I wonder?) and even if, after 20 minutes if you get to speak to anyone, they'll just bounce you back into the queue!

So now my wife and I have 2 Day tests, registered on our passenger locator forms that are useless. Our only option is to do the tests, take pictures of the results and show them to anyone that comes calling.

I should have gone elsewhere and used a test that actually involved a person.

Company is a scam. Do not use them!!!!

All the comments related to 1star reviews are shared and if it was possible to give no stars, that would be too many!. LFT software just does not work (iphone 5SE, IOS 14.4.2) and replies/customer service is non existent.

If they actual used software developers and testers for the app, then they need to be fired. They are taking money on the back of Covid and getting contracts they simply cannot fulfil, AVOID!

Really disorganised.
Used them only because the airline listed them as one of their partner sites so I felt there was some quality assurance.
It turned out to be a distasteful experience which extended my period of quarantine. Kits arriving late and my test to release kit not arriving at all. I have only given a 2 start (rathert then a lone star) cos I got my refund.
I would not recommend.

Used them twice, second time they lost my swab. They said i cant have the money back or a new test because i didnt use one of their special mail boxes (heads up: miles away!!) and used royal mail. Ive aways used testingforall until they didnt have availability and i had to find a different provider. They have NEVER lost a test despite using royal mail like everyone else. Heads up: if you dont use a special tandox mailbox they might use it as an excuse not to process your test..

I would give a zero if it was possible after this nightmare! We recently used the drive through service at Manchester Airport for our Day2 tests. The experience was terrible - poorly laid out site, insufficient staff for the appointments made resulting in long queues, staff not changing their PPE between tests and samples were taken in a very strange way. All of this resulted in a false positive result for one member of our group. This was confirmed as a false result by both lateral flow tests and an NHS PCR test taken the following day (after receiving our Randox results). Thankfully NHS Track and Trace excluded the Randox result so the impact of this error on our family was minimised. However, this doesn’t change that fact that we paid out over £200 for test results that I simply can not trust. I would not use Randox under any circumstances in the future.

I went to the Randox centre at Waterloo in London and was assisted by Arslan. He was extremely helpful; I told him my concerns - I needed to get my test back as soon as possible - and he did everything he could to assist me. His manager Celine also helped with this. I am very grateful to the both of them for their help, and it was excellent service.

I purchased to PCR tests to be done at Waterloo on our return from Poland. Like many others we did not receive the codes to enter on the passenger locator forms. We called a helpline and left all our details and awaited a return call. I also sent emails , not a thing so in desperation we booked new lateral flow tests at Gatwick, which were the best ever experience, smooth quick and efficient. Currently chasing Randox daily for my refund, I will get it, They are appalling!!!!

Every single complaint below I can attest to. Dreadful product/app. I am on Day 2 and can’t get the system to work! I am very annoyed and get NO reply when I email or try otherwise to contact the company. Useless rubbish!!! Other friend using this are having the same problem. DO NOT BUY this product.

App not working as per review from Iain Connochie. Tried to call using various phone numbers. Long messages about matters that are not relevant to the issues - opens with lines open from 9.00am and have been unable to get through. Tried various options and just left with a recurring message. Found customer service email - still waiting for a reply. Only automatic email response received. Absolutely useless.

Tried signing up to the app on iphone, keeps telling me I'm an unknown user, it says my email doesn't exist, and/or my password, click RESET password, it states an email is sent to my email, no email arrives. Tried signing up more than 7 times. WHAT are we supposed to do to get our tests registered in place of using this totally useless RANDOX app/system?????

They send a parcel with the PCR tests without my name on it. Afterwards they refused to send me an invoice, which I needed to reimburse the money from my employer. When I asked why whey don't hand out invoiced, they stopped replying to my mails.

Awful company .Buy your tests elsewhere.Purchased lateral flow 2 day test,App to register not readily available for Android you have to disable some security features.The enclosed leaflet the print on which is almost unreadable, says just scan result without telling you about the reams of information and hard to find codes that have to be entered by which time the test is past its validity and you receive an unclear result which means you should self isolate. 10 mins on phone going through menu 20 mins on hold terrible timewasters avoid.

I had problems with the registration and later getting back my test result.

1* as 0 not available. Test kit arrived and instructions were to place in a drop box......nearly 100miles away! Randox were happy to send the test to my postcode well aware that it would be impractical and unethical to send me 200miles round trip.
6 months after convincing Royal mail to accept the test via tracked parcel service (which i paid for) we find we have still not received results. 6 calls (monthly) since the purchase, every time we are told and emailed to say our case is being escalated and we will receive contact within 48hrs. NEVER ONCE received any communication from Randox in response. (lengthy email trail to prove it). I feel there is no intention by Randox to respond and the 'service' has felt more like a Scam.

Honestly I was worried after the reviews that I read ,but everything was fine all work and was sent back the negitive test with 10mins

Purchased the day 2 antigen test for me and my wife. wife has apple iphone, installed app wouldn't work, tried on my android would not install at all. called randox, spoke to someone who could hardly understand me said she couldn't help or advice what i should do I asked for a supervisor, she said she couldn't do that, told her i had customer rights to speak to her supervisor she went and asked her supervisor who refused to speak to me she then put the phone down on me. what a shoddy company i wont be using them ever again.

BEWARE! My wife ordered the Day 2 Antigen test, booked through their system which stated day 2 Antigen test (England). When confirmation email arrived there was no Code to add to the PLF form. Contacted their Customer Services to be told there was nothing they could do and it was our fault and no refund, so you need to order another one. We didn't need another test kit, just the code to put on the PLF form which would cost them NOTHING. They refused.
This was an absolute SCAM as if you look on their website NOW its changed and there are now CLEAR links to the 2 separate tests.
We've been robbed of £50 by these fraudsters who are making millions off the back of Covid.

2 day lateral flow tests arrived but system clearly doesn't like android phones as the app on Google play had no link to my test at all even after I'd set up a user name and password.
It did say on another link to change my security settings to accept unknown apps - NO I'M NOT!!!
My wife has similar issue on her ipad, got so far but wouldn't accept photo of the result then far to many questions that had nothing to do with the test. We both got negative results, but gave up trying to input the details to Randox.
