I recently moved into Quitain Living's Repton Gardens and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. From the very beginning, there were issues with the viewing process. I was told that private office spaces would be free to use and available at any time as long as no one else was using them. However, when I tried to use them, the resident team made it seem like I was confused, even though I had been given incorrect information. This was not a good start to my tenancy.

Additionally, I have been waiting for two weeks for the electrics in my lounge to be fixed. None of the lights have worked since I moved in, despite a case being logged. It's frustrating to be waiting so long for such a basic issue to be resolved. To make matters worse, the reception team seems more interested in their phones than actually supporting tenants.

On top of all this, I am concerned about security at Repton Gardens. Multiple people have reported random people wandering around the complex who have just wandered in from the street. This is a worrying security issue that needs to be addressed. However, security seems more focused on checking people in and removing tenants from the lounge/bar space than actually keeping the complex secure. The rules state that tenants are not allowed in the lounge/bar space after 11:00 pm and should sit outside, which is inconvenient for tenants whose balconies face that way.

Overall, I would not recommend Quitain Living's Repton Gardens. The poor customer service, lack of support from the resident and reception teams, and security issues all make for a disappointing living experience. As someone who has worked in account management for over 10 years, I'm shocked by the lack of customer-centric focus and ownership of issues. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for a better place to call home.

Whilst the flats are new and shiny unfortunately the level of service provided is nothing new or unsurprising for a landlord concerned with collecting rent rather than providing decent homes for their tenants who line their pockets.

Having lived here for 4 months now I have reported several repair issues with my flat, one of which is a fault with the flat's front door which is a fire safety hazard, and was met with no response for 4 months.

Alongside this, a recent fault with water pressure in the building has left the pipes screeching throughout at any time when anyone uses water. This goes on all evening into the late hours of the night and of course, starts up again in the early morning. This has also meant that for the past month, this has been occurring we have had little sleep.

The resident team told us to keep logs of the noise and send videos etc, and have said they are investigating the issue and have said it will be fixed but nothing has changed and the sleepless nights continue.

Overall, the response to anything has been slow. I had requested to log a formal complaint as there is no clear or easy way to do so. I was asked why and when I explained and asked for a copy of their complaints procedure and advised how to make a formal complaint, I was once again ignored.

Have only recently moved in. There is SO MUCH potential for this to be an inclusive, community based, progressive living opportunity-like Quintain like to portray… but the reality is that the staff hate their jobs, nobody is happy and communication almost doesn’t exist. Severely disappointing - and although residents voice their concerns… it seems to land on deaf ears. Nothing gets done - no employees care enough about their role… have even even been told face to face “I effing hate this job” by a member of staff… it’s clearly a toxic environment for employees… so it’s not surprising that no one actually cares about actioning anything. The only approach that management take are passive aggressive, if not just aggressive emails threatening residents with rules and regulations that seem to have just been made up on the spot and not in line with actual terms and conditions that tenants agreed to. Let alone the fact that they’re ignoring the cap on utilities and charging tenants way more than the current govt cap outlines… such a shame. Again… so much potential - but failed by the lack of care, communication and humanity

If there was an option to put 0 star, I would, I do not recommend anyone to become a resident of Quintain Living. I've had the worst experience with them. They told me at the beginning there was flexibility to leave early if I chose to. Which when it came to it was not true. They continue to send payment links asking for money, with no explanation as to what it's for, You can't get through to them with a complaint. I could go on and on, but the whole experience has been so stressful, I'd rather not. The main reason to add this review to deter you, if you're thinking of living there. There are much better alternatives and don't waste your time, money, or stress.
