Misleading App Experience and Promotional Rate Not Applied
I parked at Q-Park St Stephen’s Green (26/12/2025, 17:04–21:20) and expected the after-5 PM evening rate advertised for this location. I entered after the qualifying time and used the Q-Park Go app with automatic payment enabled, following everything the system offered.
However:
The app never showed any tariff options or the evening rate.
There was no way for me to select or confirm the promotional rate.
Despite entering after the qualifying time, I was charged the standard hourly rate.
Customer service confirmed the evening rate cannot be applied through the app, but this was not communicated in-app at any time.
This is extremely disappointing — users expect the app to improve the experience, but instead it removes transparency and choice, resulting in higher charges with no warning. Q-Park should clearly disclose promotional restrictions in the app and allow transparent tariff selection.
Misleading Service
I pre booked for the cark park in Chinatown. The website tells you spaces are running out and to book promptly. This suggests your booking a space. When we arrived NO spaces at all. NONE. When I complained was just told I only was paying for a smoother entry. In Fact everyone who entered the car Park entered in exactly the same and when I asked them they had not paid in advance, so that was a lie. I paid for a space I didn't get when I could have Just turned up and not got a space and not Paid. AVOID this company, they do not care.
P-bøde 2. Juledag
Fik en P-bøde 2. juledag, mens jeg var hos vagtlægen på Sygehuset i 30 min. Havde desværre glemt at stille min P skive, øv min fejl..
MEN utroligt at Q Park har sine P vagter på arbejde 2. juledag, også endda ved et sygehus. Glædelig jul

Jeg ville give -100 stjerner. Talte i dag med ja kan man kalde det et firma - svindlere. Har fået en kontrolafgift i Nyhavnsgade, Aalborg. Ligger jeres vagter på lur. Trækker en billet 19.04 og bliver observeret 19.06.32, så der er jo ikke megen tid og gå langt tilbage og ligge p-billet. Så lang jeg har fået kontrolafgift, men har betalt over kroner 80 for at parkere, men for at få mine penge tilbage, skal jeg indgive klage igen. Jeg ser frem til i mit liv at boykotte Qpark helt og adeles.

Q Park are scammers
I went to pay the 1hour ticket and €3.20 came up as due. When I went to insert my credit card, the “ticket blocked” message came up. The machine stalled and then a charge of €6.40 came up. I spoke to 6 of the staff and no one could sort it out. In total frustration on another machine I paid the €6.40. I then went into a meeting to hear that 2 other people had the exact same experience. This is a very sharp practice. I certainly will not use QParks again. Avoid them.

We arrived at Durham Road Sheffield, wasn’t able to book in advance , so arrived the gate didn’t read our registration, so had to take a ticket so what’s the point of downloading the app

parkerede min bil og betalte da jeg kommer tilbage er der en bøde, jeg sender selvfølgelig en indsigelse, svaret retur er at på dennne plads er der blandede pladser hvor man kan betale og hvor man ikke kan. fair nok så må man betale bøden, men får man de penge tilbage man har betalt for parkering som man ikke har fået noget for nej nej.

Whilst there is no doubt Q parks are clean and have good parking spaces I would never pre book again. Be warned if you arrive before your booked time or leave earlier than stated you will be charged a fee. Mine was £3.50 on top of the almost £35 I had already paid even though I actually used the space an hour less. It would have been cheaper to just turn up. I appealed and was told:
“ You booked a time specific booking and as you entered outside of the times you paid for the additional fee is automatically charged based on your entry and exit times. I’m afraid it does not take into account you departing earlier than you anticipated”I won’t be using pre-booking again. Who can arrive exactly as booked fgs 🙄🤦♀️
Nare ervaring, slechte service, geen reactie
Afgelopen zondag na duur parkeren wilde ik de parkeergarage uitrijden.
De slagboom deed het, maar helaas de deuren daarna niet waardoor ik vast stond tussen slagboom en buitendeur.
De knop voor hulp op afstand bleef maar overgaan maar het was moeilijk contact te krijgen en ze konden op afstand niet helpen.
De medewerker op locatie was geen techneut en ook hij wist niet wat te doen. Na ruim 45 minuten heeft hij handmatig de buitendeuren kunnen openen zodat ik eruit kon.
Ik heb daarna een klantcontactformulier ingevuld op de site.
Nu, een week later, geen enkele reactie!!!!!
Het is dat ik niet minder dan 1 ster kan geven.....

Fik en Q-Park-bøde på min egen plads. Jeg bruger Bybil, så jeg skal selv lave gæstetilladelse til min egne plads– min tilladelse kom kl. 18:34 imens vagten kontrollerede fra kl 18:30:xx til 18:34:xx. Afgiften blev annulleret, men frustrationen og al tiden brugt på regler sad længe. Deler det, så andre kan bruge erfaringen.

Skulle parkera och biljettautomaten…
Skulle parkera och biljettautomaten fungerade inte, sen kunde man inte använda appen på denna parkering heller.
Ringer efter hjälp som det står på automaten, sitter i kö i 15 minuter men dom svarar inte, har en tid att passa så måste gå utan att betala eller få svar.
När man kommer tillbaka så sitter det en p-bot i rutan och när man vänder sig till kundkontakten så får man bara till sig att det är mitt ansvar och att jag skulle ha väntat på att kundtjänsten skulle svarat även om det tog 2 timmar.
Väldigt besviken på att även kundtjänsten verkade sakna det logiska tänkandet, kommer aldrig parkera på deras parkeringar i framtiden.
Do not use this car park
Pre booked 48 hour parking in Manchester costing nearly £80. Barrier was meant to recognise our reg plate and let us in but did not. Tried to buzz for help several times and no one answered and no member of staff anywhere to be seen. We ended up pressing for a ticket just so we could gain access to the car park. Tried to exit the car park today and yet again the barrier did not rise. Buzzed for help many times and nothing and no one on site. We have now paid the £56 (cheaper than online cost) again so have now paid twice!!!! Considering there are car parks in the area which we now know of who are only charging £6 per 24 hours Q Parks need to get both their act and their pricing in order. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Great idea but……
Drove in, no ticket, no problem. Coming out the barrier didn’t lift and the QR code didn’t work. A few agitated driving behind me (embarrassing). Pressed the help button on the exit machine and read out the QR code ref to the attendant. Finally got out! Not sure if I’ll go through that again.
Oubollige liften
Oubollige liften, waarvan een reeds maanden defect is en de andere vandaag ook. Op het gelijkvloers vermeld een klever de panne ,op de verdiepingen niet .Steile trappen. De ingang en de trappen hall dient nodig opgefrist te worden.

So I pre booked parking for The Mailbox in Birmingham as we were seeing a show we did arrive a little later than our entry time ( but who actually arrives on the dot !)
We arrived in plenty of time for our show or so we thought ! on arriving then discovered there were no spaces people queuing all around the car park
Surely PRE booking allocates you a space Yes ?
Actually NO I contacted customer services who said it doesn’t guarantee you a space ? WHAT ! I’ve paid over the odds to make sure we had parking !
We drive around for over half an hour eventually finding a spec bit making us late then for the start of our show !
Sort it out Q Park !
A company whose audacity is hard to surpass.
I booked a parking spot online for Nice. Upon arrival, neither the license plate scanner nor the QR code worked. I had to pull a ticket even though I had already paid. There was no one in the parking garage to resolve the issue, so the next day, I had to pay the ticket—40€ for one night. A gentleman suggested I request a refund since I could prove I had already paid. I’ve been trying to do that since September 19th, but there’s been no response to my emails or anything else.
QPark seems quite confident that no one will hire a lawyer over such small amounts. This is utterly unprofessional.

"Vi kan på baggrund af dine informationer se, at du rigtigt nok har foretaget betaling for BA5XX321 i stedet for den korrekte nummerplade BA5X321.
På baggrund af ovenstående kan vi desværre ikke imødekomme dit ønske om annullering af afgiften, men fastholder kontrolafgiften på 915 kr.
Modtager vi ikke betalingen inden fristen, vil sagen blive overdraget til Collectia A/S, som vil udtage stævning i sagen – dette kan medføre yderligere omkostninger."
Failed in consumer duty - and robbed us!!
Failed in consumer duty by not informing us at booking stage that exiting car park will take 45mins+ due to their terrible design and unlawfully charging is extra. ** I recommend everyone this has happened to make a charge back with their card provider as well as complain to their council/owner of car park about them to take their contract off them ** vote with your feet!!!**
