Running a national business with a small team is great, but sometimes things do get missed, so we'd be happy to put these right. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have 4 UK employees in our team, plus 3 team members over in the Philippines and 1 in Pakistan. We're all employees, full time, and not agents or a call centre. If you have any worry at all over security, please just reach out to our main line or main email. --------------------------------------------------------------- PureStay is an Airbnb and Short Stay Management Company in England. We have properties in almost every City or Town, and we have 2 main customer profiles. First is either families and/or friends looking for a getaway break, a reunion, a weekend away, a hen doo etc. Second is our Business customers placing their teams in our properties whilst they work away from home. Instead of getting a hotel, they will stay with us, meaning they can cook in their own kitchen at night and relax in the lounge in front of the TV. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We work in Partnership with landlords and property owners, who love the short stay model and want a hands off approach. Stayed with PureStay in Bath recently…

Stayed with PureStay in Bath recently and had a fantastic experience. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the property itself was welcoming, spotless, and felt very homely. Everything was exactly as described which made the stay completely stress-free. I would definitely use PureStay again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Customer service is spot on

Customer service is spot on and always quick to reply, and the properties are properly clean! No nasty surprises, no chasing needed just smooth all round. Would happily book again

Great stay in Manchester

Booked a 5 night stay in a large townhouse in Manchester for a group of people we had great communication with Purestay they advised us of facilities and the accommodation didn’t disappoint very spacious clean and comfortable and great location for getting into manchester. Would recommend.

Nearly a year later and still no refund that was promised

We booked a PureStay apartment in Leeds while attending a major conference. At the last minute our accommodation was changed to a completely different building on the other side of the city, much further from the conference venue.

Because Leeds was completely full due to the conference, we had no practical alternative and were forced to accept the change.

Although the flat itself was reasonable internally, the building and wider development were in a very poor state. It appeared recently converted but felt unfinished, with rubbish around the building, unfinished areas and a very unpleasant smell throughout. The overall atmosphere of the development was poor, which was confirmed when we later saw numerous very negative online reviews (mostly 1-star) for the building.

PureStay acknowledged the issue at the time and offered a 20% refund as compensation for the last-minute change of accommodation.

However, almost a year later that refund has still not been paid. We have chased multiple times via email and WhatsApp. In February we were even asked to provide our bank details again so the refund could supposedly be processed, yet no payment has been made and communication has effectively stopped.

Waiting nearly a year for a refund that was clearly promised is unacceptable and extremely disappointing from a professional accommodation provider.

Following the helpful intervention of JP Purestay CEO the issue was resolved and the refund issued. It was a shame that it needed his intervention but we have used Purestay twice previously and both were good experiences. Hopefully this was a one-off incident during a time where Leeds was completely full during a major conference.

From start to finish this company is…

From start to finish this company is one of most professional I have ever experienced. From the initial booking the communication was excellent, the stay was exactly as described, the apartment was clean and as per pictures and the location was superb.
Following this experience there is no other company I would use moving forward and I recommend anyone else to do the same.
Thank you for the hospitality, the communication and all the help in between, we loved it and will be booking with you again soon.

Town house with great hosts

Town house which has generously sized rooms. Able to accomodate up to 8 people, there are 5 separate rooms. Good wetroom facilities for multiple occupation, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. Electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, coffee machine. Good range of cooking equipment and cutlery.
Living room is open to kitchen with couches and dining table.
Well decorated, generously sized in comparison to other places I have stayed but most importantly its well laid out, always clean and tidy on arrival. In a good location with access to the main motorways.
There are lots of local takeways, a Morrisons, Aldi or Tesco's just down the road etc.
Essentially all you need to cater for yourself or get what you want when working away.

Great location and even better hosts

Great location and great hosts. We as a company have used these for past few year.
Numerous properties available for all my staff. Hosts have accommodated us extremely well.
Great location for motorways etc.

Certainly recommend to any one.

Excellent service received from Purestay.
We recently took a group of dancers to Manchester to compete and booked one of the Purestay properties.
Booking was easy and communication remained constant and informative.
The property was exactly what we were hoping for and housed everything we needed which led to an easy and enjoyable time away.
Will absolutely look at other Purestay accommodation for our next road trip.

Great experience from start to finish…

Great experience from start to finish with booking and during our stay. The apartment we stayed in was modern, clean and had all amenities - we even had a top up of toilet rolls and washing up liquid delivered to us so we didn’t have to buy ourselves!

If I could have put a Zero rating I would have. A truly dreadful company with no customer care and sub standard service. Avoid at all cost.

As we explained, we could not accommodate you due to the property owner removing the property from our Portfolio months before your stay. We cancelled your stay 2 months before your arrival. This was completely out of our hands i'm afraid. In most instances we have another property nearby that we can offer.

Bad Service

Purestay have recently informed me that I have forfeited a refund because it is in line with their Company policy if a negative revue is submitted. I have asked them to explain further, particularly as a refund is for services paid for but not provided.

Nearly a year later and still no resolution

We stayed at a Pure Stay property in December 2024 and unbelievably, we’re still waiting for a proper resolution almost a year later.

We didn’t wait weeks or months to raise an issue, we reported everything while we were still staying there. The property was advertised as sleeping eight, but when we arrived, only three beds had been made up. The fourth bed was a sofa bed, which hadn’t been cleaned or prepared at all. When we tried to open it, it was full of crumbs and a dirty tissue, which was not only very unpleasant but clearly hadn’t been checked or cleaned before our arrival.

After a long drive, the last thing anyone expects is to start cleaning their own bed. We ended up having to hoover it ourselves just to make it usable. When we raised this with the company, we were told the bedding could be found in a cupboard under the stairs, the only things there were a duvet and a few pillows without any cases or protectors. We messaged again and were told to check upstairs in a bedroom cupboard for pillowcases, but there were none.

At that point, we requested a small partial refund of £75, just to acknowledge the inconvenience and lack of cleanliness. The company responded by asking what we thought would be fair, so we told them £75 and then they stopped replying.

Months passed and we stopped chasing it because life got busy. Then, in September 2025, we got a WhatsApp message from Pure Stay sent to past guests about how they 'prioritise regular customers'. We took that as an opportunity to follow up about the refund we’d been waiting on since last year. After a long back and forth over WhatsApp, we were told that platform wasn’t the correct way to discuss complaints or refunds and that we should email instead.

We emailed again, and finally they said they’d honour the original £75 refund. Given that it had been nearly a year, with multiple ignored messages and no accountability, we politely asked if they would consider increasing the refund slightly to reflect the months of delay and poor communication. Since that message, we’ve heard nothing again. No confirmation, no follow up, no refund of £75 at least, nothing. We are now sending emails everyday.

If you’re considering staying with Pure Stay, I’d recommend thinking twice or at least don’t expect quick communication or support if something goes wrong. It’s been almost a year of trying to get a basic issue acknowledged, and we still don’t have a resolution.

Piles of waste
