We just completed our 6th pilgrimage over 8 years with the Puma Adventure family in February 2026. Again it was an outstanding experience over our 12 day retreat and 3 days up at apu Ausangate. It was a big group we brought this time but the Puma team were prepared for everything and it went flawlessly.
Our primary guides of Alfredo, Miguel, and Magally did an amazing job picking us up everyday at the retreat centre and guiding our crew through all the beautiful sites of the Sacred Valley and up into the mountains. Always supported by the kind friendly drivers and the support team of Rebellino, Puma and Jimmy.
Always a joy to partner with this beautiful family and know that we are in goods hands as were journey through Peru.

This was my second trip to visit Peru with Pumadventures and I highly recommend this fantastic group of people. The travel adventure is a perfect mix of experiencing the magical sites Peru has to offer, the guides are very knowledgeable, and each daily excursion offers exquisite and authentic shopping (supporting small business), as well as glorious meals. Shaman Puma and his family also offer a humbling and truly touching insight into their traditions and how to live in ceremony every day. This trip and visit to Peru will change your life!

Our trip with PumaAdventures exceeded our expectations in every way. Puma and his excellent team took us on an amazing journey of ancestral knowledge, sacred sites, local customs, and spiritual guidance, in a deep and meaningful way that we would have never managed to accomplish on our own. He and his team are professional, organized, and efficient, but also kind, compassionate, generous, open-hearted and living lives of teaching and service. We have just returned and are already looking at options for another experience with them. This trip is an extraordinary experience. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Do it for yourself!

What an incredible experience! I researched many companies looking for the one that felt right for my Andean Spiritual Healing Ceremony to honor both my Mom & 2 sisters who have passed away. From the very beginning, Puma Adventures were very responsive & patient to ALL my many questions via email. Once in Peru, they arrived to pick me up at my hotel (extra fee) right on time. It was a 50 minute drive from Cusco to Chinchero. Master Jimmi & Magaly were very supportive & explained things very clearly to me. I had an opportunity during the ceremony to read my intent letter, prayer and special letter to my mom and siblings. This was then placed into the Despacho. I really loved how they held space for me.I also brought a picture of the 3 of them to place in the Despacho. I also brought pieces of jewelry that belonged to them that was just placed on the altar, but I collected afterwards. Magaly was exceptional at translating what Master Jimmi was saying. It was an extremely powerful ceremony to me and I am forever grateful to both of them. Although I researched quite a bit about what to expect, I did not know some of the significant meanings in the ceremony, such as what the color of the flame indicated, how fast the Despacho burns vs how slow, etc. My only suggestion that might help someone else would be to possibly have Magali offer the information of what everything means during the ceremony while each thing is happening. I asked some questions during the ceremony and then used chat gpt afterwards to fill in the gaps … which I would have loved to have known some of the significance during it. Just an idea. All in all this was EXACTLY what I needed and I am so very happy that I put my trust in both of them to make my experience incredibly meaningful to me. Thank you Master Jimmi & Magaly, you will forever be remembered!!!!

A truly magical journey with Puma and his family, full of ancient wisdom love and generosity. All the trips we took were thoughtfully organized and Alfredo and Magadaly were shared their vast knowledge of their lineage with love. This was the best retreat I've attended in Peru. Having been here before with other tour companies Puma Adventures created the most beautiful plant medicine, Andean wisdom teachings & sacred sites tour for our group. I look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

I had exceptional experiences in Peru throughout this journey with Puma Adventures. The itinerary was wonderful to help me satisfy with my physical fitness as well as my yearning for the spiritual quest in the local Andean tradition. Additionally, the guides were very wonderful to pay attention to my needs at any moment, especially during the time with my altitude issues. On the other hand I was able to taste the local cuisine and beverages along with the personal touches. Indeed it was a flawless journey with lots of love and friendships in my heart.

All of our guides, drivers and organizers were amazing, wonderful, sweet, loving people who enhanced the adventure by the beauty of their spirits and the depth of their knowledge and experience. The opportunity to visit sacred sites and have that experience paired with not only learning the depth of the meaning and history, but also receiving gifts from those sites that I have been able to carry forward into my life and in my energy has been an enormous blessing. My trip to Peru was nothing short of life changing. Pumadventures made me feel more like family than a tourist while I got to explore and learn about so many temples and cities. I was immersed in such a beautiful culture filled with unconditional love, and left the trip feeling like I had grown in so many ways. They thought of everything and were always available to help. If you want to explore Peru this, in my opinion, is the best and most authentic way to do so!

Traveling with the Puma Adventure team was phenomenal in every way. I felt safe and supported . It was a fun and loving experience as well as a deep and transforming journey . Rebi and the team were so helpful when the airport lost my bag . The drivers and guides were so kind and helpful. I loved every moment and felt held in Munay through the challenges too. My journey with Puma Adventures was beyond compare! Everyday was filled with joy and great memories. Everyone took such great care of us and accommodated our every need. I came away from Peru more at peace and happier than ever. I’m unable to pick a particular highlight as the whole experience was life changing and exactly what I needed. I have wanted to travel to this sacred land for 20 plus years but I wanted to be from a place of healing and spiritual growth. Going through pumadventures exceeded my expectations. I’m forever grateful the the care and guidance that was given at each sacred site and in each ceremony. I learned a lot about my process and the programs that I have been running which were no longer working. I am grateful for all the amazing people in the pumadventures family. They really take care of you.

Pumadventures gave us exceptional, personalized service every step of the way. Puma and all of the staff- Rebelino, Willie, Eddy, Jonatton (our incredible driver), and Jimmy- were all knowledgeable, warm, engaging, and helpful. We came away with a deep respect for the Peruvian people and culture, both past and present. They brought us to beautiful places, both planned and surprises, where we fell in love with the land. Puma himself is a kind, compassionate man who radiates Love. Being in Chinchero, seeing how the weavings are created, and experiencing "a day in the life..." was a highlight. Highly recommend Pumadventures, and hope to be back! :)

I struggle to find the words to bring to life my experience with Puma Adventures. Really no words are enough, as it is about the feeling before, during, and after the journey in Peru…feelings of warmth, light, expansion, joy, connection, and reverence to name a few.

And yet, a review requires words, so my humble attempt:

Comfort – Everything was handled so well. I have traveled to dozens of countries over many decades and was prepared for substantive hiccups and disruptions, yet they never came. The logistics and details were seamless … an astounding feat given the number of places we went with our group.

Caring – The depth of human, and indeed spiritual, connection during my time with Puma Adventures was like being with family. The best kind of family, where you feel welcome, safe, seen, respected, challenged, and supported.

Class – From the deeply thoughtful sharing of Andean stories and rituals, to the honoring of Pachamama Mother Earth, to the quality of music and food, to the places we laid our heads at night, everything was pure class.

I cannot say enough. I recommend Puma and every member of his amazing team. I shall return.
