Brilliant experience with Proximity Coach Travel. The service was excellent from start to finish, and everything was handled professionally. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

The team at Proximity Coach Travel are amazing, they help you from start to finish and handle everything to make the trip as relaxing as possible 10/10 highly recommended!

Disappointed with the service I received, made an inquiry for a vehicle for a hen weekend, when I received the cost I went back to confirm that the cost included everything, and received confirmation that it included my return journey. When I went to book, I then received an email from another member of the team, that said ‘Our price should have been marked each way, sadly there is no way could operate a car, never mind a minibus at that price. I am sorry for the inconvenience.’ Which I felt was dismissive. I would have appreciated a response apologising for the error made and confirming what the cost should be, or alternative options, if any. I guess as I went back to confirm the price was right I was surprised to received the message I did when I said I wanted to book. I get that mistakes can be made but it’s how you deal with the follow up that counts.

Since posting this I have had some follow up communications, which I appreciate.

I had paid for a 34 seater coach to take us all to Twickenham to watch the Premiership Final and we got upgraded to a 48 seater coach so we all had plenty of space onboard which made it a lot better for everybody having plenty of space on the way down and on the way back up.

Good service from Matt who I dealt with a lot from Proximity Coach Travel. Plus they were the cheapest company for the coach which was an extra bonus beating other coach company's from £100.00 - £600.00.

We used Proximity Coach Travel for all of the transportation during our Icelandic National Golf Teams' training camp in England, and the service was exceptional from start to finish.

From the initial planning stages, the team was incredibly responsive, professional, and flexible. They were always quick to answer questions, accommodate changes, and help us find the best transport solutions for our groups.

Every transfer ran exactly as planned. The coaches were comfortable, punctual, and spotlessly clean, and the drivers were friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with.

Coordinating transport for multiple national teams travelling with large suitcases, carry-on luggage, and golf bags is no small task, but Proximity Coach Travel made the entire process effortless.

This was a school trip for 70 people, from Bath to Oxford. A fantastic and successful day.

We were a group of 54 who had travelled to Blackpool from Fife and looking for a coach to take us to Manchester and back on Saturday for a football tournament at Old Trafford. The cost was extremely reasonable which is very important for a grassroots football team. Service was excellent. Communication before and after from Matt was excellent. Our drivers were very helpful and professional and the coach was comfortable and clean. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you.

We booked a bus transport for our family group (25 persons in total) from NCL airport to Kendal and transport back four days after. Quite big group of polish family ( adults and children) traveling for wedding. It was important to have direct transport after we landed in England - and backward - to be on time at the airport. Everything was exactly as we agreed even when the pick up time for back trip was on Sunday 05:30 am - driver was actually in place at 05:00. I’m glad that I chose Proximity and will recommend it in future.

Whit Friday Marches

We had the lovely Rachel drive us around for the Whit Friday Brass Band Contest in Saddleworth. This was our first time using this company and the service from start to finish was exceptional.

Rachel and Proximity Travel went above and beyond to make our trip a success. They even facilitated a coach size upgrade (which we requested less than 12 hours before!) on what must be one of the busiest days of the year for coaches in Oldham 😅 - impressive!

This is the second time in using Matt at Proximity Travel. Our event this time was bigger than the previous, with over 400 guests and 150 staff members that required travel.
Matt approached the brief with great professionalism.
All communication from Matt was clear with driver details provided before the event.
Matt managed the whole event with great patience and care, he took away the stress and offered clear cut solutions to all my last minute curve balls!
Although this was the second time working with Proximity Travel, Matt organised a pre event meeting to walk the site, to re-familiarise.

I am a wedding planner and yesterday I had a coach company cancel on me last minute in the middle of a wedding. I was super busy all day running the wedding so quickly Whatsapped Proximity and they replied straight away saying they could help ( even on a Sunday when the person I messaged was out eating a Sunday roast!). Within minutes I received a quote and payment link so the wedding guests had transport home after the wedding and I was a VERY relieved wedding planner. Throughout the evening the driver communicated with me so I was assured the coach would be on time, and then a message to say he had arrived ( 30 mins early) and then another to say he had all the guests and was off to their destination. I cannot express how grateful I am and just how impressed with the exceptional customer service from this company. If only all companies were this good, the world would be a better and happier place! Thank you so much for just being amazing and VERY reasonably priced at such short notice! ( Hope the Sunday roast was good and I shall definitely be recommending you to everyone). Best wishes. Lucy
