I loved the class. Proofreading was something I already knew how to do, but I didn't think about turning this skill into a business. I am happy this class gave students business and social media advice and not just advice on how to correct errors. And knowing the difference between an editor and a proofreader is important.

After years of admin work, it was awesome formalizing my skills. Having the resources absolutely makes the work more professional.

This course is different than most opportunities advertised. In the beginning, it was made clear that it was not an easy course in which to engage. However, from the start of the course to the finish, there was support and encouragement. I believed that because of my career background and life history, this was the course for me. Although the suggested time element was three months, there was no pressure to meet that timeline. I needed a couple weeks more than that to complete proofreading the essays and finish the modules. What is real important is that there was no pressure. The encouragement given cannot be discounted. It was the difference between success and failure. The choices I made were best for me, and there was not a demand to join the Facebook group. I needed to complete the modules without distraction. So, I chose not to join the group while finishing the modules. It was the perfect combination. Now, I am beginning to study the Transcript Theory and Practice course to round out my knowledge and strengthen the foundation for a successful business platform.

I found the course very helpful and the process easy to follow.

The course is well-designed and self-explanatory. The PA Support Team and Facebook page are the core of the program. Their customer service and quick response time to your questions and concerns are not only professional, but it is also personal, considerate, and concerned. They want their students to succeed and help when they feel discouraged when they run into an area that seems difficult. If you are truly ready to apply yourself and determined to build a business of your own you will be successful.

I think the PA course has everything, from a review of important grammar and spelling rules, to lots of practice, and useful info about getting started in the business. It's the complete package.

Even though the Proofreading course from Proofread Anywhere was self-paced, it did not feel that assistance or help was far away. The staff returned email questions and graded assignments in a relatively quick manner. The feedback was insightful, which led to a greater comprehension of the material. Overall, the Proofreading course was great and met all my expectations!

The information was very thorough and the work was challenging but in a very good way.

I am a little disappointed in the videos. They are just reading the transcript, which I can do myself. Occasionally, there will be a screenshot of something like how to set something up for editing in a Word document. Maybe show some examples of what you are talking about. I get confused about participles and was frustrated trying to find a good example to help explain them. I still have a very unclear understanding of participles and how they work, what to look for to make sure they are correct, etc.

Other than the disappointing videos, I do like the course. There could also be a little more clarity on precisely what is expected in some of the lessons. For example, the practice essays do not clarify if they will need to have our references to specific CMOS rules for why we made a change. There have been several other students asking about this in the Facebook group, so I know I am not alone.

This course is well thought out and structured. The modules were easy to navigate and has excellent practice exercises to prepare you for the exam. I also found the videos to be encouraging and informative.

I recently completed General Proofreading from Proofread Anywhere and received my certification. The course was well thought out, and is used by many proofreading students. There is a great "student" Facebook group that is there to help each participant with positive answers. I have been very satisfied with customer service and I have also purchased their Transcript course as well.

This was a very informative course and spot on answering questions everyone would need answers to.
Great course. As a beginner in this freelancing wold, I feel prepared and encouraged with the knowledge I have gained. Of course, everyone needs to put their own effort into the skills and also into the rest of everything.

Proofread Anywhere is a great program. Having worked in a contractor's office, a life insurance sales office, becoming a registered nurse, and then after retiring working in a local school district, I know what it means to work hard enough to know you'll get something out of the education/training. This was hard enough to make me take it seriously, sometime frustrating because I had to figure when I did what I was told to do, and when I was expected to search for the answers. It's helped me excel in finding answers to all kinds of questions. I just received my certificate today, and I am thrilled! I feel like I earned it, but I also feel like it will prepare me for whatever is yet to come.

I will admit I was skeptical going in, but my doubts were assuaged by the content and support. I earned my master's online, and this was comparable to the level of instruction I received. I am now in my second course, and am finding the standards to be equally high.

The lessons were helpful, clear, thorough, and organized to flow well through the curriculum.

I have taken l college level courses
online and found Proofread Anywhere to be of the same high caliber. The course is comprehensive and while it is, in no way easy, there are ample supports built in to make the learning experience rich in content and enjoyable. I highly recommend this course.

I loved the self-paced program. I was able to work through the modules at my leisure and complete them on my schedule. You send too many emails daily pushing other things to buy before I could complete even half of the course. It is distracting and comes across as making your site look like a scam. Yesterday I got seven emails from you. Each one pushing me to buy some other thing. I now feel like I am unsure if I want to finish this course and the transcript course I already bought. Some of these emails make it sound like I would not even need to buy those two courses. You should allow the student to at least get half the course done before they get these pushing emails.
