I had the opportunity to be part of PPC Live yesterday while attending Boston, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish.
The discussion was highly relevant to where digital marketing is heading, covering topics such as AI accountability, the transition from DSA to AI Max, and how marketers can adapt to increasingly automated advertising platforms without losing strategic oversight.
What stood out most was the quality of the conversation. Rather than focusing on hype, the session explored practical applications, real-world challenges, and the responsibilities that come with AI-driven decision making in PPC.
The team did a fantastic job organizing the event, facilitating engaging discussions, and bringing together experienced practitioners willing to share honest insights.

PPC Live 19 in London
I stepped out of the usual day-to-day routine and headed to PPC Live 19 in London - and I’m really glad I did.
It’s easy to get caught up in dashboards, optimisations, and constant testing, but events like this are a great reminder of why I enjoy working in PPC in the first place: learning from people who are deep in the trenches and genuinely care about doing things better.
Big thanks to Kat Sale, Nils Rooijmans, and Dave Alexander for sharing honest insights, real examples, and practical ideas that I’ll actually be taking back into my accounts.
And a special mention to Anu Adegbola, mMBA - this day simply wouldn’t have happened without her. From start to finish, the event was incredibly well run, and that doesn’t happen by accident. Huge respect for pulling it all together so smoothly.
Left the event feeling inspired, motivated, and full of ideas - exactly what a great industry event should do.

I attended my first PPC Live of the year and it was honestly such a win. The speakers were brilliant and actually shared some really useful insights rather than the usual fluff you sometimes get at these things. It was also just great fun, the energy was high the whole time and the networking was absolutely on point. It felt less like a stiff conference and more like catching up with a massive group of people who actually get what we do.
I’d highly recommend making it to the next one if you can. It’s easily one of the best ways to stay on top of what’s actually working in paid search right now while meeting some top-tier people in the industry.

It was genuinely one of the best industry events I’ve been to in a while. The speakers were insightful, the conversations were energising, and I walked away with a much clearer sense of where PPC is headed in the future.
Also, a small reminder that no matter where you are in the world, great advertising still comes down to the same fundamentals: understanding people, being creative, and staying curious.

Kat Sale Reminded me why I love working in Paid Marketing, and with House of Performance (HOP) (I especially enjoyed the quiz).
Dave Alexander Gave some incredible insight on how we can better utilise “lost leads” - I made so many notes on this!
Nils Rooijmans Reminded me of the importance of scripts. I’ll be carving out some time next week to really dig into this.

I attended my first PPC live this February and I recommend it for anyone in paid media and even for product marketers who do user acquisition.
There’s so much to learn from our ever-changing industry, and this is the right place to be.
Everyone is kind, intelligent, and knowledge sharing is a big part of our industry, so good job to Anu for putting this together.

PPC Live was a hive of knowledge. A room full to the brim physically but also with really in-depth technical PPC expertise from people that live and breath the channel.
