Powells is one of those shops where you step back in time. You feel the atmosphere before you even look at anything. I had seen something on their website and asked them to hold it for me, which they did. When I went in I was made very welcome and when I did get to see the item I liked, I was able to take my time and examine it carefully. The whole experience was lovely and so were the staff.

You can always rely on honesty with any purchase.
staff are always very helpful and never push you to buy but will always advise so you feel comfortable with any purchase.

A visit to Powells is our first stop whenever we visit Chester, and the warm welcome is always the same no matter which member of staff greets you.
My wife spotted a unique vintage ring in the window which was a perfect fit, and a purchase followed.
This is a fantastic independent family owned jewellers who pride themselves on offering a friendly first class jewellery shopping experience.

Great service. At no time did we feel pressured or rushed in terms of time. Guided through our options by Declan who took time to listen to our needs and advised accordingly.

Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff who made me welcome and did not rush me. I was given an estimated time for the alterations to be completed but it was actually done within a far shorter time frame. When I collected my jewellery, I was delighted with the results, and they far exceeded my expectations. Once again , the staff were so friendly and polite.
