Sending the wrong item, not replying for weeks, problem not solved...

I ordered two pairs of shoes from this store on their website, I ordered the 27th june (sunday) before I ordered I wrote and asked how long the delivery would take to my country, I was told it depends on the delivery option chosen, and the lady said that she could see that I had chosen the fastest one which is 3-5 days, then I ordered the shoes and then I asked when I could expect to get the shoes, I was told to give the order number and that she would check for me, then she said that they were due to be with me thursday which is today. Yesterday (wednesday) I wrote to them and asked when the shoes would be shipped and how I could get the shoes thursday when they havent even been shipped yet (according to tracking) that was yesterday (wednesday) I was then told yesterday that they didnt have the shoes in their UK warehouse and that they have ordered the shoes from pleaser in the US, and I was never informed about this when I wrote to them about delivery time. I was told that the shoes would arrive thursday (today) and it also said 3-5 days on their website. On the website it said that the delivery could be longer if the shoes werent in stock in their UK warehouse and in those cases they would have to order the shoes from pleaser in the US first and then send them after they recieved the shoes from the US.

But when i wrote to this store before I ordered and also the day i ordered I was told that i could expect to get them by thursday. Today is thursday and I dont have the shoes. Yesterday when they replied that they didnt have the shoes in stock in the UK and that they had ordered the shoes from the US and that they would send them as soon as they got them, I asked them why I havent been informed about this when I asked how long the delivery would be. Obviously i couldnt get the shoes today (thursday) if they had to order them first from the US and then send them to me from the UK afterwards, I should have been informed about this when I asked, but I wasnt, I got lied to. Today at 10 o clock in the morning I got a message from them saying that the shoes are delayed from the US and that they will get the shoes from the US tommorow (friday). And then today a couple of hours later at 2 o clock I get a email and text saying that my shipment has been cancelled and that the money for the shoes have been refunded. Eventhough I have never said that I want my shipment cancelled and I never said I want my money refunded, so they make this decision without my permission. The money for the shoes arent on my account yet, and in the email it didnt say when they would be back on my account. I have never in my life experienced this before and I have ordered a 1000 times from other websites.

Which means that in total I will wait 3 weeks to get some shoes, where I could have waited only 1 week and gotten the shoes today or tommorow if I had ordered from another website. This is UNACCEPTABLE! I have never experienced anything like this before. I was told from whoever responses from them that she would ask a colleague why the shipment has been cancelled and why the money has been refunded. And then I got this answer: that they arent sure what the problem is and that there must be some issue with the UPS (the delivery company) and customs and because the UK isnt a part of eu anymore that that must be the reason why the shipment has been cancelled. But I got the shipment cancellation email from misshollywood directly and not from UPS. It gets worse and they keep lying. I know for a fact that there is no issue with UPS or customs and their is no issue because the Uk isnt a part of eu anymore, I just got a delivery from the UK two weeks ago with UPS, with no issues and also a month a ago also from the UK with UPS also. And now they message me and say that the money will be back on my account in 3-5 days and that they dont know what the issue is, and that I can try to order from them again, and choose royal mail (delivery company) this time.

Tragic experience with Miss Hollywood. Bought a pair of knee high pink boots around August/September time of last year (2020). They broke at the heel within an hour of wearing them. I made a complaint with the company immediately, which took forever to get a response. Back and forth with very little help from the company about a refund. Followed all their directions and still haven’t received a refund or any acknowledgment almost 8 months on. Pathetic service and absolutely would rather lose my money than get credit for the store! Never ever again. Would really urge you to avoid and save yourself the stress.

Routinely a good service and a good price. Even when we had shoes that were misrouted to Korea (from the US I think) Miss Hollywood managed to ensure that the two pairs of shoes got here undamaged (albeit it took a little longer than expected) and at the best price in the U.K. Covid and home working means communicating with them can be a little patchy at times but they do respond to all chats albeit at the end of the day with the aim of ironing out any customer issues rather than sweeping them aside. We have never failed to get the shoes and quality has always been the same as with the other stockists (given that they all stock Pleaser shoes).

Super Sexy Heels and a great price too thank you very much, very impressive considering that we are on lockdown at the moment. Will order more soon.

Edit February 2024 - 4 years later this company trying to have negative reviews taken off. Still shady, still avoid. 1 star is 1 too many.

Purchased a pair of Pleaser shoes, the material of the shoe was pink mesh. When attempting to try the shoe on for the first time, the mesh burst.
Contacted the seller to advise, when they finally responded, I was asked to send a picture of the shoe, which I did. After waiting another considerable amount of time I was advised Pleaser in the USA was declining my refund, as my foot was "evidently to wide for the shoe." Mmm? I purchased the shoes from a small shop in Aberdeen, yet your apparently asking the USA Pleaser stockists if you should refund me? I've been dancing for 18 years ALWAYS wearing Pleaser shoes, yet now your telling me my foot is to fat and it's my fault?
I was offered a mesley £10 credit note as compensation.
Upon leaving a negative review on Google (check out the reviews, there's a pattern!) I was suprised to find a email from Miss Hollywood, threatening me with Court action for leaving a negative review, as she is a small business that cannot afford negative publicity! 5* for the wonderful customer service provided . . . NOT!
I refused, so the wonderful lady that owns the "small business " decided to leave a very detailed response to my review, for everyone to read, personal details and all. This is obviously a way to "punish" individuals that dare leave negative feedback, data protection right out the window!
So, to sum up, you'll receive your purchase but NEVER receive a refund if one is needed and if you leave negative feedback, be prepared for private details to be shared with the world.

Lovely shoes, when they eventually arrived! I thought that they would be shipped from their shop in Aberdeen but I suspect they have been ordered in from somewhere in Europe as they took almost 2 weeks to arrive. The tracking number they gave me was just a normal Royal Mail one (not recorded or anything) so it told me absolutely nothing except that I would get an update when the item was delivered...very helpful, not. To be fair, when I contacted Miss H they were friendly but not particularly helpful when it came to trying to locate the shoes. The shoes are lovely and I am very pleased with them but I don't think I would choose Miss H again for my next purchase of Pleasers.

Terrible first time experience. Returned shoes and they won’t give me a refund. Tried contacting them on several occasions but getting ignored. Be careful if you need to return
