Absolutely shocking customer service.

Plugmein installed my home EV charger and it has stopped working, leaving me completely without a way to charge my car. I’ve called several times and each time I’m promised a call back or that someone will follow up — and nothing ever happens. No updates, no urgency, no accountability. Just empty promises while I’m stuck without a working charger.

Installation was very good but sadly, once they’ve installed it, they seem to disappear.

Excellent installation, now off gas, lower bills, warmer home, plenty of hot water, great phone app (Homely).

Unfortunately, I have heard that they have stopped installations of heat pumps for now (Nov 2025), but they are still helping with any queries I have.

I had an issue with our house electrics which meant that the PV system was no longer exporting to the grid. Despite our system being out of warranty, the team at plug me in were very responsive and gave me advice which ultimately allowed me to get our system exporting to the grid again. Good customer service.

Had my heat pump installed last November by plugmein and generally happy with the installation and quality of the work. Unfortunately, been trying to get some follow on support and my requests have been ignored. My opening enquiry I made a week ago was ignored. I called the support team yesterday and was told I would get a call back within 24 hours, didn't happen. Not happy!

Shocking level of service. Very hard to get anyone on the phone, when you do they pass on to someone else who doesn't answer. They offer a call back but no one ever does and they don't respond to emails. All you get is lots of automated emails. If you are looking to have an EV charger installed, go elsewhere.

Plugmein called me to explain the situation. They claim to have sent my details to a new installer - I bought the charger via Scottish Power. I have heard nothing from the new installer and when I called Scottish Power they claim to have received no information. The whole process has been a farce. I am still waiting for installation.

Arshad was fantastic installing my Inara charger, he was very knowledgeable and explained everything really well. Really nice guy too, couldn't be happier with my new charger.

Arshad did an excellent job of installing our EV charger today. He was polite, efficient and very tidy. Arshad gave a good overview of how to use the charger and the app and thoroughly tested everything was working before he left. Thank you!

Excellent service from Arshad- quick and professional

Marius, Matt, Jamie & Owain did a fantastic job installing our heat pump and new radiators. It was a challenging job due to the building but they never once had any doubts about getting it done. Extremely professional and very courteous at all times. Can not recommend this company highly enough.
Must also mention Molly at the main office, really helpful and patient (due to planning issues!)
In total the team were here for 5 days and didn’t stop working.

We gad our EV charger fitted this morning by Chris who provided an excellent service, we received communication last night with his ETA, arrived on time, explained the process clearly, once installation was completed he then show me how the app works and helped with the set up.

Terrible experience so far pre-installation. Their customer service is shocking. You can't actually get through to speak to any member of the EV team. All you can do is leave a message with the switchboard who says he will pass it on. Wait around for days and still no reply. I received an email asking me to call them. I tried several times and left a message each time. Eventually they emailed to say it was an automated message! I chose to buy my EV charger through my energy supplier and that's why we've ended up with Plugmein - more like wait_ages_to_plugmein. I've spoken to several other companies such as Cord and they offered friendly phone calls from the team and a clear timeline. I would not recommend this so far. Am seriously thinking of asking for a refund.
