"Kelly" is sending me spam emails very few days even when I ask her to stop. Im assuming they are using bots.

they are NOT trustworthy and I would stay clear.

there are other options that dont use illegal tactics.

Absolute scammers do not trust them.
They have no interest in any support when things go wrong.
They have scammers putting up products taking money from pledgers and then closing down ,pledgebox Kickstarter do nothing to follow it up .
They are implicated because they take a huge percent of the money that is pledged then don't care .

Just received my first PledgeBox survey for a Kickstarter project. Filled in my name, address, etc. Went to pay and was given the option of PayPal or CC. Both choices resulted in the following error message (note the bad grammar and misspellings:

The error message (see attached screengrab) says:
"Payment account error: There is an error occurred when processing your payment: creator's PayPal account has the issue that The merchant account is restricted."

The error message is so badly written - I'm not even certain which payment account is in error - mine, the creators, or the merchant's.

EXTREMELY suspicious.

The experience with Pledgebox survey was easy and simple. The amount of marketing of other products is a weekly problem. The unsubscribe will not allow you to only unsubscribe from the marketing side but will also discount you feedback on the products you backed. These should be separated, updates for Pledged products and a separate confirmation for marketing emails.

So much SPAM

You get signed up, not only to PledgeBox's newsletter, but a bunch of other crowdfunding newsletters. PledgeBox's own newsletter is easy enough to unsubscribe from, but the other newsletters they sell your info to are much worse.

Scammed by Pledgebox through a project on Kickstarter. Paid for a iRULER Laser Distance Measure incl transport on Feb, 2022, product was never delivered, no refund, and no replies on numerous mails to promoter in China (irulerm130AT163.com and sns@digitlands,co / Zeng Deming) and none through Pledgebox (none-replyATsurvey.pledgebox.com). Then login blocked, because I was "no backer of this project" (but did pay) ;-). In short, a scam, lost my money, no more.

Scammed my money even though Kickstarter product has been refunded. It includes shipping fee and add on, which they said they have no control over.

What’s the point of this company then other than taking money?

Worthless addition to Kickstarter and Indiegogo.

No communication only startups are to blame according to Pledgebox. I have never asked for this service and no one is responsible for it. Can not give 0 stars unfortunally.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. They do not respond to problems. I have been trying to submit my pledge and due to BAD MATH I am unable to (it thinks I owe .01 (.08+0 is not .09))

The project never happened and they ended up leaving town, ripping off people. Not one person (including me ) received the product they paid for. If you want to help give back the money to all the people that were ripped off.

A project I backed used PledgeBox and I got added to a spammy newsletter that you literally can't remove yourself from. I did not sign up for that or give permission.

Doing some research and finding out the site is run by a marketing company in china, it makes sense. I wish creators would stop using their site.

Some Kickstarter Campagne uses Pledgebox for surveys. So Pledgebox send me a link and says information is needed. Instead the only thing they want is money. Instead of letting my pay with my creditcard the only offer paypal payments methos. Becaus paypals is as bad a financial service as one can get I will not give them my creditcard information PLUS all personal information that has nothing to do with paying but requiered by paypal. Pledge Box service for customer is not responding. I guess it´s not exsistent. I have no account on pledge box and with the experience here I realy don´t want one. I will not back up any Kickstarter Kampagne which uses pledgebox ever again.

My name is Simon - I ran a 1000+ backers campaign called Midronome on Kickstarter. I decided to use PledgeBox for Pledge Management.
The software is really well made, the backer experience is also very nice, they even have a pretty good handling of Apple ID backers which is always a problem with Kickstarter.
And to top it all up their support team even helped me import a bunch of Paypal Backers I had outside the system.
All in all very satisfied and happy with my choice! And it's free!

While the survey part itself probably works, signing up to pledgebox has seemingly enrolled me into their spammy promotion emails, which have a broken "unsubscribe" link. And of course, there's no marketing preferences to be found in their profile UI. BIG NO NO FOLKS, ever heard of GDPR and the likes?

Made pledge of $60 not much sent me email after it was completed. Got a email asking mailing address send that information 6 months later do not getting anymore. Only email for more pledged what a scam

badly ripped off over a dashcam scam. I paid over $300.00. No response to emails. No update for months.

NO RESPONSE TO A REQUEST TO GET MY MONEY back.

Pledgebox ripped me off! Stole $264 from my CC and will not research the issue or refund my money!

I pledged for a TurboHub 4TB ( Connector:Dual connector by Indigo at the very start of the campaign. To this day I have received nothing and I have followed up on the order numerous times their support email and never received a response. I’m it’s been a full year and I’m convinced this a scam. It’s a huge shame for people to go all that length just to scam people.

I've been trying to set up pledgebox for a week now and the UX is terrible! Lots of bugs (buttons don't work, can't save products, can't copy shipping over to new products, server errors, etc.) and it's incredibly frustrating to communicate with their CS (poor English grammar, lots of spelling mistakes, nonsensical sentences). I'm about to give up.

I bought very expensive $2300 Ecoflow products. I received two little parts. No big parts. Pledgebox claims my order is complete. The big parts have to weigh about 80 pounds. I am reaching Kickstarter EcoFlow now.
